3.6 Bottle at Delirium Café in Nantes. Red body with medium head. Nose is hoppy and spicy. Taste is citrus, caramel and hops. Nice prickly texture. Enjoyable but not my favorite from Brew Dog. Y
3.1 Bottle 0.33l from local market. Originally rated 24112011. Colour is clear copper with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Bitterness, hops and malts.
4.0 Molto aromatica con schiuma intensa. Aroma floreale e dolce. Ben luppolatae buon carbonazione. Birra molto beverina, fruttata e caramellata, sentori di resina. Birra molto buona.
3.0 33 cl bottle from Meny Kolsås. Pours murky orange to red with a small off white head. citrus hoppy aroma. Medium bitter taste with some citrus notes. soft carbonation, light palate. Easy to drink and a quite ok bitter.
Molto beverina.
3.5 Flaske fra rema 1000,mørk rød farge, lett skum, smaker malt, humle, krydder, furunål. God og frisk
3.2 33cl bottle from Meny Mosseporten. Pours slightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. Hoppy aroma with fruits, malt and hints of spices and caramel and some roasty notes. Medium sweet with some almost berry-like flavour and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. Nice and sessionable.
3.7 Aroma: some citrus; maybe strawberries, little bread; Appearance: reddish amber color, clear, medium but long-lasting off-white head; Taste: light sweetness (caramelish) medium bitterness, quite rich and complex; Palate: light-to-medium body, little oily-creamy feel, long bittersour finish; Overall: great, very pleasant aroma and taste, very good looking, good drinkability
3.4 Color: clear amber beer with small white foam and small carbonation. Smell: fruity nose, raspberry and strawberry. Taste: nice hops and malt taste, really good ale easy to drink. Aftertaste: small bitterness, very light aftertaste for a brewdog.
Passe karbonert.
3.4 Bottle from ICA Oslo. Red body with medium head. Nose is hoppy and spicy. Taste is citrus, caramel and hops. Nice prickly texture. Enjoyable. Smooth creamy texture.
3.5 330ml bottle. Pours a deep reddy brown with a medium head. Aroma is Ribenna and burnt citrus. Taste has dark berries and light citrus to start with a watery coffee and cardboard finish.
3.4 Bottle from supermarket in Helsinki. Wasn’t really expecting to stumble on this. Red tinged amber pour with a decent beige head. Sweet malt spine with some decent fruity hop lurking to balance things out tidily. Quite satisfying bitterness. Solid effort ,and perfectly drinkable, but probably not a podium finish.
2.8 Bottle from www.brewdog.sk Aroma berries, fruity, hops, a bit earthy. Hazy amber to brown colour, instantly disappearing head. Taste is medium caramel and roasted malt. Light grassy hops. Finish is grassy/earthy hoppy, medium duration. Overall not bad, rather malty taste with a simple bitterness. Certainly not my favourite.
3.3 bel ambrato buon aschiuma piuttosto persistenten leggero malto un tocco fruttato esotico caramello piutosto maltata amaro medio leggero citrrico bella beva
3.6 In short: A well malted and well hopped citrusy so-called “Bitter” that tastes more like an American APA/IPA. Good beer How: Bottle 330ml, consumed fresh (probably fresh) one day after purchase in a neighbourhood country (Norway) The look: Clear red-copper body topped by a medium beige head In long: Pleasant moderately hoppy nose showing citrusy hops (all kind of citrus fruits) over some sweet malty notes. Aroma is both more malty and more hoppy than I would expect from a 4.5% Bitter. Taste has a candy-like malt sweetness (jelly beans) and red berries along with citrusy and leafy hops with strong resinous character. Well balanced beer with a tasty medium bitterness. With its rather substantial sweet malty body and a generous American style hopping, to me this 4.5% Bitter tasted more like an APA (even an IPA) than a Bitter (current ratebeer style is Bitter). Whatever it is, I enjoyed it, Brewdog can brew some nice session beers, please stop the 40% abv madness. The Alpha Dog is the leader of the pack, the one who gets to mate with all the female dogs of his territory, that’s so cool, I wish I was the Alpha of my area in Montreal, that would be awesome, I would love to have sex with all the female dogs in the area.
3.3 Buona! Aroma particolare, rossa limpida, sapore fruttato, fragola, poco amara molto stile bitter! retrogusto poco persistente!
3.3 Bottle through a friend. Fruity and sweet smell and taste. Easy to drink and pretty decent considering the low ABV. Doesn’t stand out though.
3.3 0,33 l bottle, thanks Armando629! Poured amber-brown with a small creamy tan head. Moderated aroma with light resin, caramel, citrusses. Medium bodied with light caramel, grassy grapefruit bitterness. Drinkable, not a special one.
3.0 Amber-red coloured and hazy. Has a white head, medium duration. Mix of malty, caramel notes of something hoppy. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter. Something burnt, astringent.
3.2 nice bread aroma, golden, hazy, off white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, soft carbonation, bitter, long finish,
2.7 Clear dark amber with a thin lastjng, lacy rather frothy beige head. Smells of dark berries like blackberries. Roasted malt, caramel and way to much hop for a bitter. Watery thin body. Moves it to more like an amber ale with IPA hops in it. Citrus, and hops. Medium oily body. Sweet berry malt start with a light veg and a bitter nutty hop dry finish. Bitter. The finish is rather off.
3.5 Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter ok caramellic flavior. Dry and woody. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
3.5 Bottle, 4.5%. Slightly hazy dark amber/brown with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, hop, little chocolate, fruit and a little citrus. Flavour is malt, caramel, nutty, medium sweet, little dry, hop and medium bitter.

3.8 Bottle. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, caramel, nuts, flowers and malt. Yummy.
3.1 Bottle at home - 23/09/12 thanks to Steve (Beers I’ve known). Hazy reddish amber with a big frothy off-white head. Nose comprises hops, biscuit malts, light fruit and toffee tones and a whiff of glue. Malt heavy in the flavour, toffee, biscuit and a little orange and fruit. Medium bodied, soft but quite evident carbonation and a little on the wet side. Drinkable but I wouldn’t be seeking this one out.
2.9 33 cl bottle. Originally rated on 20110119. Pours clear golden color with a small head. Aroma of fruits, malts and grass. Flavor of mild hops, hay, caramel and malts, some mild fruits also. Boring.
3.3 0,33 l bottle, bought online at Brewdog-shop. Poured amber-brown with a small creamy tan head. Moderated aroma with light resin, caramel, citrusses. Medium bodied with light caramel, grassy grapefruit bitterness. Drinkable, not a special one.
3.5 Biscuit malt with hints to dark fruit mixed with sour apple and spice and a smokey note which is interesting. Quite a sweet brew which has hints of having hung about in the bottle to long. Reminds me of sweeter, less hoppy version of 5am Saint.
