A baby Scotch ale with dry and toasty malt flavours and hints of smoke. Toffee, biscuit and fudge abound with a spicy bitterness from the pan-global hops.

3.6Bottle 0.33L.
Dark brown body with a large, creamy, tan head, mostly lasting with nice lacing.
Moderate-to-heavy malty (roasted, biscuit, some caramel) with notes of dark chocolate, licorice and light spices.
Moderate sweet and bitter flavour; average-lasting finish with bitter notes of licorice.
Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.
Nice one!
3.5God, men noget ordinær Brown Ale. God fylde og aroma. Tilpas bitter - savner lidt sødme.
3.3Pitch black clear beer, with a weak white head.
Smell is ash coffee, nuts, subtle toffee and liquorice.
Taste is watery bitter with a clean astringent finish. Hint of metal. Ash and coffee, hint of caramel.
2.8It's ok but a little crap. Vegetabley. Aftertaste gets stranger the more you analyse it
2.9Bottle, as santa paws. Dark brown pour. Aroma of nuts, caramel, malt and ripe fruit. Taste has soft hazelnut, caramel, malt and some leathery raisin. Bit too plain.
3.6From Labirratorium. Labeled as Santa Paws. In Teku glass. Playing Bloo Kid 2. Pleasant toasted malts, hints of toffee and good body for its low abv. However, its also a bit unidimensional and has trace of the honey its suppose to have nor any christmasty spirit
3.3Bottle as Santa Paws. The colour is deep dark brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit and some diacetyl. The flavour is less sweet and more roasted with bread and grass. Little dry in the end. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and bitterness. An ale with sweet aroma and malty flavour.
3.1Santa paws, bottle 660ml, 4,5%abv. Dark brown color with beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruits. Taste is medium bitter, notes of dark chocolate and coffee. Quite good, but gets boring in the end.
3.2Botella. "Santa Paws". Dark brown colour, off-white head. Sweet dark malty bready caramel like aroma with dark fruits. Flavour is sweet and soft with dark malts, dark fruits, caramel, mild spice.

3.5Piłem wersję Santa Paws - Christmas Scotch Ale. Przyjemna paloność w aromacie i smaku. Do zapachu dochodzą też sloskie nuty biszkoptów. Fajna garbnikowość i goryczka. Pijalne. Niezle piwko.
3.5Bottle of Santa Paws enjoyed at home. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring.
1.9Santa Paws udgaven - En mild udgave af en Skotsk inspireret ale. Kedelig i længden.
3.0Santa Paws . Pours ruby brown , head gone in seconds . Caramel aroma . Tastes roasted malt mild spice
2.8Bottle 0.33ltr: Dark brown colored brew with an slightly dry bitter taste with slightly hints of toffee and roasted malts. Bought it under its alias Santa Pawns 4,5%.
2.0W zapachu słody i chlebek, w smaku słody. Barwa mocny ciemny brąz ostro wpadający w czerń. Tragicznie mało ciała i pusto. Nudne piwo.
No me dice demasiado.
2.8Bottle (Santa Paws)@home. Watery nuances of slightly roasted malts, some coffee, a hint of toffee, dried dark fruits and ash. Medium/narrow taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with dark fruits and slightly roasted malts. Averagely balanced. Light body with medium carbonation. Overall, sturdy but light in every aspect.
3.5As Santa Paws. Appearance is coca-cola brown, a fluffy clingy beige head of around one finger. Aroma- brown bread, treacly malt, raisin, fruitcake, vanilla hints. Taste- caramel malt, toffee, chocolate, coffee, biscuit, blended raisin, sweet dark fruits, Christmas cake.
2.8Bottle (as Santa Paws 4.5%) from Morrisons. Deep brown-black, thin short lived pale beige head and low condition. Pleasantly complex nose with fruity fig notes mixed with spicy yeastiness, some roasted coffee and a hint of citrus hop notes. In the mouth it has an initial burnt toffee sweetness and quickly develops a dry roast coffee bean bitterness but ultimately lacks the complexity promised in the nose. Finish is a little brief with a slight figgy sweetness and a chalky bitterness. Would benefit from a little more alcoholic depth and complexity.
3.2Tried as Santa Paws capped at 4.5%. Pours JD coloured with a decent thin frothy head. Aroma of caramel, toffee and coffee. Taste of toffee, red fruits, honey and molasses. Finish is slightly bitter with some bread and coffee notes.
3.4Bottled 0,33L. BrewDog Santa Paws Christmas Scotch Ale 4.5%. Dark brown braced color, limpid and medium bubbly aspect with foamy and creamy bulky head. Aged ashed wood and resin aroma, alchol, smoked resin. Warm and soft smooth palate, bitter and equilibrate alcholic mouth.
3.133 cl bottle, labeled Santa Paws at 4,5% ABV. Clear, dark reddish brown, thin tan cap, nice lacing, low carbonation. Aromas of dark chocolate and caramel, very familar for a Brown Ale. The flavours are as the aroma, dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and dark malts. Mouthfeel is quite thin and watery, medium carbonation. Not a bad beer at all, but it needs a bit more of everything to be really enjoyable.
2.5Bottle. As Santa Paws. Nose is earthy, hint of toffee, malt, vegetables. Taste is malty, earthy, vegetables, hint of spice. Very thin body and hard to see a xmas theme. Tips over into being a bad beer.
3.133cl bottle. Dark red color. Roasted caramel aroma, a bit yeasty and baking spicy. Rather watery flavor at first but the finish is roasty and slightly hoppy and interesting enough.
2.8Jet black. Uneven, tan-coloured head. Aroma is faint, but there’s some malt and chocolate there. Taste is bitter coffee grounds and some savoury herbs. Watery. Swing and a miss.
3.4bottle as brewdog santa paws.
clear brown, small light brown head.
smooth roasted malty aroma, also choclate and coffee, bread, aroma is like a sweet chocolate cake with not much sugar.
flavor is roasted malts, this sour malty note you get sometimes with very malty beers, discrete subtle hops, a very british brewn ale, but not at all tame. Sort of reminds me of guinness.
2.9330 ml bottle at craft-jocke, as Santa paws. Aroma and taste is dark malty, bready, dark sugars, light woody notes, slight fruit with a medium bitter finish
3.3(Bottle, as "Santa Paws") Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, spicy nose with dark chocolate, coffee, burnt sugar, honey, orange peel, roasted nuts and spices (cinnamon, nutmeg). Malty, roasted, spicy taste with coffee, black rye bread, cacao, roasted chestnuts, orange peel, nutmeg, cinnamon, caramel and a mild roasty bitterness. Below medium body, mainly dry. Tasty and spicy, the fairly low abv makes it quite drinkable. Quite nice.
