BrewDog Clockwork Tangerine

Our citrus-infused session IPA dials down the ABV but revs up the intensity with a blast of bright, pithy tangerine. Firm piney bitterness and caramel malt provide a recognisable IPA profile, and spring the citrus hop notes from your glass - tangerine, grapefruit and hints of lime.

3.0 Pours clear reddish with white foam head. Hoppy aroma and bitter taste. Little aftertaste, bitter. (Rotterdam 2022)

2.4 Bière achetée chez Leclerc. Belle mousse lors du service mais qui s'estompe très rapidement. Robe blonde orangée. Nez pas très agréable, ça sent la heinenken. Bonne carbonatation, assez légère en bouche, on distingue nettement la mandarine qui apporte une amertume différente d'une IPA. Pas une bière de folie pour moi.

Poured hazed golden with an off white head. Aroma of tangerine, orange, citrus zest, citrus rind, grapefruit. Taste was bittersweet, orange, tangerine, fruit peel, citrus, mild bitter hop finish.

3.4 Bière couleur légèrement orangée, un voile de mousse blanche. Le nez est très discret, sûrement que la bière est trop fraîche. Bonne carbonation, alors oui on est sur l'agrume, doit on considèrer que comme il y a amertume de l'agrume on doit dire que c'est une ipa, je 'e sais pas mais on a bien cet amertume d'agrumes, j'aurais dit plus de clémentines que d'orange, le côté sucré étant presque inexistant. Bière rafraichissante d'été mais rien d'exceptionnel

3.2 Candy-like aroma with orange. Amber in color, clear with nice fine grain foam. Poor in taste, a bit malty, citrusy with unpleasant bitter finish. Light body, medium carbonation.

3.5 Liquide orangé transparent avec mousse abondante et compacte. Nez mandarine, agrumes et malt. En bouche, c'est entièrement sur la mandarine et l'orange avec une douce amertume de zeste d'agrumes, efficace !

3.6 Can. Brewed in Ohio. Poured hazed golden with an off white head. Aroma of tangerine, orange, citrus zest, citrus rind, grapefruit. Taste was bittersweet, orange, tangerine, fruit peel, citrus, mild bitter hop finish.

2.6 Aroma is satsumas and citrus fruits. Taste is somewhat artificial, with "Bubblizz" and citrus.

2.6 Clear amber with a moderate white head with a good retention. Aroma: Tangerine is notable. Also some malts - hay, honey. Mouth: Medium bitterness and only moderate sweetness. Aftertaste is light bitter and lingering. Light-medium body, watery. Quite smooth texture.

3.2 Nez: Malté, agrumes Bouche: Caramel, tangerine, épicé, herbacé Une "Tangerine Session IPA" légèrement ambrée avec une mousse blanche et une faible carbonatation. Au nez, c'est malté avec des notes de caramel et d'agrumes. En bouche, l'attaque est sur des notes de caramel. La tangerine arrive pour se mêler aux notes caramel avec une pointe épicée et herbacée en fin de bouche. Avis: C'est plutôt bien fait et pas flotteux.

3.1 Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Orange colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Some orange notes. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

3.6 Can. Slightly orange with a large beige head. Aroma has plenty of tangerine, so it fulfils expectations. Also some straw and bready notes. Flavour is sweet and fruity with a sharp bitter finish. Quencher!

3.4 Cloudy amber body, big frothy head. Very nice hoppy aroma with fresh citrus, namely mandarine with caramel, melon. Medium, harshly carbonated body. Very dry bitter flavour with a strong mandarin note.

3.9 Geelrode IPA met een verassende fruitige mandarijnen nasmaak. Met subtiel een hint van karamel en koekjes smaak. Verder een redelijke bitter met een licht hopje waar de mandarijn overheerst. Het kleine zuurtje komt nu eens niet van de citrus maar van de mandarijn. Overall verfrissend en redelijk doordrinkbaar. Licht hoppig maar vooral een overduidelijke mandarijnen geur. Volle schuimkraag maar blijft niet lang hangen. Like the movie a Clock Work Orange is dit de cult versie van een IPA. Je zal hem niet heel vaak bestellen maar is elke keer wel weer bijzonder. 3.1 Can, 33 cl, bought at SB, Knalleland, Borås. Decent session IPA. The orange aroma comes with the bitter finish, it is not there initially.

3.3 (Can) Amber colour with big, frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of mandarin, mango, flowers and candied orange peel (ambrosia cake). Fruity, hoppy taste with mandarin, orange peel, mango, flowers, crystal malt and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. A bit one-dimensional, but tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

3.2 Clearish gold color with a orange- tinged white head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy with some jolly ranchers notes. Taste is bitter and citrusy, but not necessarily tangerine. Good beer, but without the particular flavor I'd expect from the name

1.4 Session ipa de 4,5 % abv, avec " arôme naturel " de mandarine !! Le jour où on m'expliquera ce qu'est un arôme naturel en temps qu'ingrédient brassicole sera un grand jour pour l'humanité ... Mon exemplaire était à 6 mois avant sa date. Couleur orangé aux reflets roux cuivré, à la grande brillance. Bulles très clairsemée, quasi nulles Mousse blanc cassé, à gros flocons, en nappage vague à 1 mm. Arômes de blanc d’œuf, abricot, armagnac jeune 1ère bouche sur une pils avec un peu de fruits Arrière-bouche avec des fruits sans nuances de houblon 2ème bouche au maltage réellement pâteux, et harmonie faible Arrière-bouche qui s'éteint très rapidement Longueur sans consistance, vague, juste un rien fruitée Jambes fuyantes, collantes sur la hauteur Levure faible Alcool très faible, quasi inexistant, il ne peut rien pour l'ensemble Finale de pils lassante à souhait … CONCLUSION : on a la nette impression d'un travail de marketing à outrance. Une sorte de petite ipa pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore les ipa .. Ou une sorte, comme le nom l'indique, d'after work pour bobos fatigués !! (ils sont vite fatigués les bonobos, surtout à ne rien faire … )

3.2 330ml can - Pours a clear amber colour with an average sized frothy off-white head. Aroma is citrusy, tangerine, grapefruit and orange zest. A moderately sweet and citrusy taste, light malts, tangerine and orange flavours with a medium to light hop bitterness.

3.3 Can. Deep orange-amber-copper with off-white bubbles. Aroma full of citrus, orange specifically, with light notes of grain and caramel. Bready, fruity and moderately bitter taste. Light bodied with lively carbonation.

3.4 330ml bottle from my local Morrisons; drank at home on 18th Jun 2021, 13 days passed it's BBD. Light haze to the dull, dark orange body, decent white head that tried to last. Citrusy nose and taste with orange like esters and flavours to the fore. Pleasant!

2.9 Can poured into a shaker glass. Orange gold with an off white head. Aroma is Orange Julius, pineapple, sweet citrus candy. Initial taste is bright citrus, orange rind, sharp, acidic. Fades to citrus rind. Sharp carbonation and a light body.
