On Tap at Brewdog Camden 05/08/2012 Big fruit and hop aromas. Copper golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a pine flavour. A hint of dryness in a lasting bitter malt finish.
Bière orangée avec une fine mousse blanche peu persistante. Au nez, c’est fruité, fleuri et doux. Notes de fruits tropicaux, pamplemousse. Le passage en bouche confirme le côté très fruité de la bière avec une bonne dose d’agrumes, dont l’amertume est bien adoucie par des touches de pêche et d’abricot.
Manque un peu de tonus, mais reste vraiment agréable et se boit très facilement !
Poured from 330ml can, 3.8% abv. Nice hop aroma, pine, citrus, herbal. Clear amber beer, plenty carbonated. Light sweet, moderate bitter flavour, nice pretzel/cracker malts, quick sharp and refreshing on palate. Good session IPA, would go great with bbq or curry.
Clear and golden with a bubbly white head and a grassy, citrusy aroma. Light bodied, moderately carbonated, with a nice level of fruity light malt going on, some caramel sweetnes apparent before a piney, citrusy bitterness kicks in and a dry bitterness finishes things off
Llauna Hopt. Carbonatació fluixa, cos fluix. Cert toc cítric i maltos. Poc més que correcta.
Liquide ambré avec mousse compacte et persistante. Nez résineux et mandarine. En bouche, c'est une attaque sur l'orange avec une belle amertume résineuse et toute fin de bouche, une légère impression métallique... Globalement réussie pour une session !!

Pours to a slightly red amber with good stable head. Nose is resiny, pine, slightly vegetal, settled down a bit after 5 minutes to tangerine. Nice in the mouth, again piney, orange citrus fruitiness. Bit thin at the end, but it is a session beer so is to be expected.
Close to clear amber pour. Aroma of citrus and resiny grapefruit. Flavour of metallic tropical fruits and malts. Decent bitterness.
Clear golden, small white head. Aroma is a little citrus and iron, taste is orange and pineapple. A little modest in both aroma and taste.
Die Optik gibt sich wunderschön bernsteinfarben und schimmerd trübe mit mäßiger feiner Perlage. Die leicht gelbstichige mittelporige Schaumkrone wechselt rasch zur Grobporigkeit, gibt sich aber stabil und sehr gut haltbar.
Im Duft leicht karamellig-malzig, süßsäuerlich-fruchtig nach vollreifen Ananas und Orange/Mandarine mit hintergründiger Grasigkeit.
Der Antrunk kommt angenehm spritzig, zart karamellig bis leicht röstig. Am Gaumen fügen sich die fruchtigen Komponenten sehr gut ein. Ein wenig Dörrobst, reife Zitrusfruchtaromatik, reife Maracuja, aber auch leicht holzige Noten, die an Rosskastanie erinnern. Eine generell sehr reife und beinahe herbstlich wirkende Sache, in der die Hopfenherbe nicht zu dominant und daher schön eingebunden ist. Die Haptik ist angenehm und die Süffigkeit sensationell.
Im Abgang bleiben diese reife Aromen kurz stehen. Danach folgt die röstige bis holzige Phase, die relativ lange anhält. Die herbe Komponente kommt erst relativ spät und wirkt lange mit einem grasig-herben Charakter nach.

Almost clear, amber color and a nice white head. Dried apricots, organge peel and caramel. Malty and decent bitter.

Botella 0,33l Color ambar, ligeramente opaca, espuma blanca, fina, alta, resistente. Aroma pomelo, citrico, frutal. Sabor amargor suave, dominante, pomelo, citrico, frutal. Falta cuerpo.
Avec Mosaic et Simcoe, c'est une Pale Ale aux arômes agréables qui nous est ici proposé par Brewdog. De quoi vous rafraîchir en été. Avec 3,8 %, il ne faut cependant pas s'attendre à des miracles et cette Dead Pony manque en effet de tonicité et ne tient pas la longueur. J'espérais tout de même que les 40 d'IBU donne un peu plus de vivacité. En verre nous sommes sur un blond orangé voilé quasi sans mousse. Les nez est très porté sur les agrumes (pamplemousse, écorce d'orange, clémentine) avec en complément du résineux, du miel et de la pêche. L'ensemble est très agréable. L'attaque est néanmoins quelque peu décevante du côté de la complexité et de l'intensité avec un rendu manquant de relief. La deuxième et l'arrière bouche sont heureusement plus complexes avec des arômes semblables au nez. La corpulence est limitée mais meilleure que le final qui chute précipitamment. Pour soirs d'été sous la chaleur.
Orange brown, with a whispy head. Strong aroma of tangerine and orange, reminiscent of Fanta. Flavour, bitter and citrussy. Grapefruit notes. Dry finish. High carbonation. Drinkable session ale.
Bevuta in bottiglia. Buon profumo e bell'aspetto. Non troppo amara. Manca un po' di corpo.

On tap at the cosy club restaurant in Cheltenham, pours blonde with a white head. Aromas & tastes of grapefruit, lemon, orange, apricot, earth, grass & hops. Medium body. Dry moderate bitter finish
Whole box from online store, bad BB date. Strong aroma of grape fruit and strong hoppy taste. Although the ABV is low and the maltness is weak, the hoppness is so strong that cannot served as a aromatic lager or witbier.
It's a summer brew.
Bottle shared at work. Golden pour, white head. Nose is oxidized hops. So is the taste with faint floral notes, citruses and honey. Short finish, light body, average carbo. Meh.
Session IPA : plus légère et moins de malt qu'une IPA.
Un peu amer mais rafraîchissante. Des notes de pamplemousse / agrumes.
De color ámbar, con una espuma de buena retención. De cuerpo medio, textura cremosa y carbonatación media/alta. Aroma afrutado y lupulado. Sabor agridulce, con un ligero amargor en el final.

330ml bottle from local store. It overflowed just a bit when opened. Hazy yellowish orange color with very fine and linear white foam on top.. Love the aroma and is quite similar to their Punk IPA indeed, lots of hops, pineapple tropical fruits notes and lots of citrus... flavour is really appreciable but at the same time subtle and less pronounced compared to average Ipas, taste of bitter citrus, herbal hops, tangerine.. cleaner tasting.. good bitter - sweet balance for my taste, good bitter. A bit sour. Quite a nice body and flavour for a light 3.8% session ipa.. not too watery and fresh, little subtle but interesting taste.
