BrewDog Hazy Jane (5.0%)

BrewDog Hazy Jane (5.0%)

Can: Filtered
New England IPA

New England detuned. This full-tilt fruit machine of an IPA packs all the flavour but less of the alcohol. Notes of pineapple, mango, stone-fruit, and a hint of tangerine to mix it up. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smooth juicy hit.

Hazy Jane - Now in session.

3.5 Bottle from Yamaya bought in April 2023 for ¥500. Attack: crisp firm bite Mids: bright tangy tangerine hop, citrusy off-dry malt, green grassy hop, lvl2-sweetness Finish: resiny tangerine grain, low bitter hop, mango exhale Overall: very citrus forward, mild hop bitterness yes still retains some greenness, easy to drink and engaging. Good tropical citrus vibe
3.6 Can. Cloudy yellow color, smoothwhite head, lots of yeast. Fruity flavors, tropical juice, pineapple, mango... plenty of resin over a solid pale malts foundation, citrusy taste, unexpectedly dry, a bit dusty. Taste kind of salty, thin bitterness. Dry finish, hoppy, citrusy.
3.0 Can. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is floral, herbal, some grassy and mild bready tones. Flavour is floral, herbal, some hrassy, bready and mild wooden tones. Feels rather bulky for a NEIPA.
3.0 Pours hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Fruity aroma with sweetish notes of peach, pineapple and a hint of crispier grapefruit. Tasted follows the aroma with tropical fruits. Despite the sweetish aroma, taste is slightly on the crispier side. Lively carbonation. A decent an easygoing NEIPA. Poured from a 330ml can, bb 23/02/24)
3.4 Un poco rubia, color amarillento, aroma a frutas tropicales no muy amarga. Para ser una cerveza de supermercado no está mal
3.4 Nice looking, steel blue 12oz can. Brumous, alabaster pour with a sticky white head. Fresh, hoppy, piney-pineapple aroma. Fruity and starchy - pineapple, a little earthy, some vinyl seat covers, low bittering, a building tang, moderate sweetness. Fairly mouthy, tight carbonation. A pithy aftertaste. Total Wine, Tallahassee.
3.0 Poured orange body white lace. Aroma muted peach grass citrus but understated for a NEIPA. Light to medium bodied slightly grainy texture soft carbonation. Taste is similarly under whelming. My first visit in a while and disappointing
3.5 Keg @ Banyan Bar & Kitchen, Roundhay. Very hazy golden coloured with a head. Dense tasting pale ale with plenty of citrus based tropical fruitiness.
3.4 Brisbane made can. Fairly hazy with a loose white head. Pleasant tropical fruit aroma pineapple, peach, lychees, mandarin - doesn't signal sweetness. And it stays dryish with lean malt that's not all that muddled, lots of fruit (mainly pineapple) and a just about bitter enough finish.
3.6 A hazed milky yellow golden ipa with a thin creamy lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical, classic. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light citrus, light tropical fruits, light and smooth. On tap at Brewdog Marais.

4.0 Decent citrus fruit aroma and taste with a nice bitter aftertaste. Enjoyable session drink. Another one from my brewdog box.
3.4 Can at home in Hackney - picked up From BDCW. Pours unclear gold with a small, fading foamy white head. Lightly sweet with rounded and vague citrus fruits, faint piney bitterness, nips of pale bread, tangerine, a little diesel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Alright balance in the finish, some further basic citrus notes. Drinkable stuff, just pretty basic overall.
3.1 STINKY TASTE LIKE AN OLD GLOVE, BUT IN A GOOD WAY. TASTE REMINDED ME OF MY CHILDHOOD WORKING IN A DONKEY FARM :) It looks like pee pee after a hard night's drinking. So that's good. It felt like a VROOM VROOM won a race in my mouth. So that's good. I RECOMMEND MARINATING TOFU WITH THIS BEER. MY KIDS LOVED IT. IT GOES GREAT WITH A FIRST-PRICE PASTA. WHO IS JANE? happy new year, my dears! Karen.
3.4 16 ounce can at Goodyear Theater in Akron Ohio. Aroma of hops. Yellow in color Deeper tasting hops. Light bodied and hoppy aftertaste. Good for the style. Cheers!
3.8 Heavily hazy gold. Thin head with low to medium retention. Aroma intensity3.5/5. Tangerine, pine and grass aroma. Medium bitter, doesn’t stay long. Light body
3.7 Troebel geel/wit bier.
3.6 One of Brewdogs better offerings. A nice NEIPA
3.2 Short white head. Very pale clowdy yellow color. Very fresh citrus hop aroma. Fresh light citrus taste but without any acidity and a low bitterness. Thinn body and big drinkabillity.
3.7 Hazed golden orange with a decent white crown. Nose is orange zest, grass, light pine tickle, soft malts, light breads. Taste comprises tangerine, melon, soft malts, grass, pineapple, mixed tropical fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with balanced juicy hop bitterness.
3.3 Frisch, fruchtig, hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich wird man zunächst auch nicht enttäuscht. Grapefruit, Mango, Melone. Guter Kompromiss aus Substanz und Süffigkeit. Nach 3 - 4 Schlucken fallen minimale Nuancen von angebranntem Karamell auf, die den bis dahin makellosen Genuss leicht trüben. Macht trotzdem Spaß.
3.4 exotic hoppy bittersweet aroma with lime notes. some sweet malts too. quite smooth mouthfee, quite hoppy flavor, especially towards the end, begins milkshakey milky malty sweet, but the hops win out towards the end. pretty nice fruity hops combined with quite a lot bitter hops.
5.0 Excellent
3.4 Tap at brewdog Friedrichshain. Nose is fruity citrus, funk, orange. Palate is hay citrus, orange. Standard
3.4 Bottle from Edeka, Hamburg - hazy golden color, white head. Richly fruity and crisp, well carbonated. Some malts, oats, slim body. Bitter finish. Fresh and nice.
3.3 Above average IPA with a good tropical citrus note. Mild juice sweetness. Cloudy and medium weight.
3.4 375ml can. Hazy golden with a loose and frothy but lasting white head. Soapy lace. Peach, pineapple, grapefruit, nectarine, some pine. Mid-weight. Medium carbonation, slightly juicy into the otherwise bitter finish. Moderate length and intensity.
3.5 Pours hazy gold with small head. As expected, it's thinner and less smooth than OG Hazy Jane (aka Double Hazy). But the hops are very strong, and my favourite blend of any IPA. Tropical and grassy hops, citrus, passionfruit, pine, with a hazy mouthfeel. Finishes with mango and lychee. Harsher, bubbly carbonation than OG Hazy Jane.
3.6 On tap at Victoria Taps. Very good NEIPA despite coming from Scotland. Pours a hazy golden yellow . Nice hop bite.
