The Holy Moose has brought about a gathering of Nordic clans; with it comes a berry IPA overflowing with tart citrus flavour. Cloudberry, lingonberry, blueberry and sea buckthorn meld with citrusy hops in an intensely sweet, fruity and floral aroma, with toasty malt notes and tropical fruit bursts. This bitter, resinous IPA follows up with a lemony punch in the mouth - cherry and blueberry sourness takes this pithy pale ale in a new direction, before a long, dry finish.

2.6Tap@Taphouse. Pours hazy reddish with fading offwhite head. Aroma is fruity with red berries, light malt and slightly caramel. Taste is malty, sour and fruity in a strange combination that ends dry and quite bitter. Some hops hides behind it all, but not harmonic in aroma or taste.
2.6[backlog] 10-12-15 / bottle at home. Sweet bitter. Fruity notes. Weird IPA. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 2.75/5
2.9Draught at Taphouse.
Hazy red colored with a medium sized white head.
Fruity aroma of caramel and berries with notes of hops.
Fruity flavor of berries and caramel with notes of hops.
Fruity finish.
2.2Draft @ Taphouse CPH. Tumbler. This is weird. Apparently a part of Brewdog’s seemingly unsuccessful venture into sour(ish) beer, and this review is written as a warning. The beer pours pinkish brown with negligible head resembling more a Flanders Red Ale or Framboise than an IPA. The aroma is mostly fruits/berries, and the taste is similarly something resembling a diluted fruit lambic. Unfortunately for an IPA, any hop character besides a slight bitterness is non-existent. The finish is tart with a bit of berry residue. This review should not be read as disappointment about getting a weird IPA; in truth this is not a very good beer.
3.825-AUG-2016, draft @Copenhagen Beer & Whisky Festival.
Hazy orange with a huge off-white head. Aroma is very fruity with hops and a touch of brett. Taste the same with some caramel as well. Thin body, soft carbonation, citric. OK but a Little strange.
3.8Bottle enjoyed at home
Hazy red, white head with a hint of pink. Smell of citrus hops, grapefruit, raspberries, and alot of fruity forrest berry aromas. Medium sweet, alot of berries, raspberry at first, then blueberry, some sea buckthorn and lingonberry as well. What i like the most is that the berries leave some nice acids that makes this a very special fruity IPA. Medium bitter, zesty tail. Very good stuff
2.4September 23, 2015. On tap at Brewdog Kungsholmen.
Reddish amber with a small creamy white head. Aroma is buttery, malty and fruity with some tart lingonberries and hints of bilberries. Taste is dry and light tart, some sweet maltiness and butterscotch. Berry tartness in the finish with some lingonberry notes, sweet toffee and butterscotch, Medium bodied, soft to average carbonation.
Too buttery.
2.4Bottle. Opaque reddish-brown color, pinkish-white head. Fruity aroma, lingonberries and blueberries. Taste is a bit of a mess: toast, sour fruity notes with a metallic tang and some hops. Lingonberry finish. Medium-full body, medium-high carbonation. Maybe not for me.
3.6[2015-11-28] Karmiininpunainen, samea; suurikuplainen vaahto. Tuoksu on greippisen humalointu, hapan ja hieman kirpeä. Maku on hapan, greippisen kirpeä ja kuiva. Ei kovinkaan tasapainoinen.

3.6Pours red with pink head. Aroma is berries, bushes and pine. Flavour is berries, light sweet and light sour.
3.0Aroma brings some berries, citrus hop and hay malt. A mess of sweet flavors with a bit of citrus from the hops and sour berries. A bit dry in the mouth towards the end. Not great.
3.8Bottle, 330 ml, shared with Miro. Pours red with medium white head. Great aroma, fruity, refreshing. Fruity, bit herbal, berries. Sweetish, bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice one.
3.4330 ml bottle at home. Dark amber ruby red color with off white head with pinkish notes. Aroma is malty and hoppy, vegetables, fruity, berries, spicy, light citrusy fruity, light dusty, some pine. Light sweet, bitter and light acidic tart fruity taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.3330ml bottle from The Beerhive.
Thin white head with a hint of pink, barely any lacing. Slightly hazy reddish brown body. Nose is berries, pine, citrus zest. Flavour is tart berries, sour apple, grass, a little citrus. Light carbonation, mouthfeel is a little thin. The berries are very much to the fore.
3.3Bottled. Pours a hazy brownish-red with a very small off-white head that soon disappears. The typical big Brewdog IPA aroma; pine with some tropical fruit. Very dry, sour, and slightly salty flavours. Certainly a bit different!
3.5Amber beer with a beige head. Smells thick, almost sugary, dried apricots. The taste is a bit sour with lingonberry and black currant notes. Seems like I’m mistaken and there’s no black currant here but sea buckthorn instead. This came to me as a surprise as I didn’t know this was a berry IPA but I’m pleasantly surprised actually. It’s not bitter to a point that the sourness hidden but just below that to let the berries "shine". I’m quite enjoying this.
2.0Its’ pouring golden, in the present tense, with that red/purple tint from the berries. Its completely opaque and cloudy. There’s even what looks like blackberry seeds floating in the glass. It smells like good wild berry initially, then pretty bad like a PT in PRD. No head so to speak. The palate is like glue on tape. A bad idea, poorly executed from people with no mash tun.
3.2Bottle shared at hopaholic. Red amber colour without a head. Nose is sweet and sour like a gummy bear. Taste is also gummy bearish bitterness. Too low carbonation. Funny.
3.5Blueberry, piszą. Ja wyczułem raczej borówkę brusznicę, czyli tę czerwoną, dość mocno zaznaczoną. Piwo trochę mało treściwe, ale jak najbardziej ciekawe, dobre.
3.7Served from the mooses mouth at the Holy Moose Release at BD57, september 8th 2015. Hazy dark orange boy with a low white head. Aroma of fruity hops, sweet caramel and berries, they really blend in a way I can’t distinguish them from one another. Taste is malty with red apple, pineapple and berries, mild sweetness, bitterness is not overdone but keeps the beer pretty much in balance. A little careful this one, and maybe the "my name is" closest to a regular ipa (from those I’ve tried of course).
3.0Aroma of fruits, hay, berries, resin and a hint of citrus. Amber with a off-white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Slightly sour. Medium body with a average to soft carbonation. Overall a perfectly OK brew, but i find the sour note slightly off-putting.
3.0Trübes rot mit wenig Schaum. Malzig, leicht fruchtig, Zitrus, Sanddorn, süßlich, im Abang leicht bitter.
2.2Pouring reddish with small head and a nose that is slightly unpleasant. Buckthorn, citrus and some sour notes on the palate. Not a favourite but a fruity very rich taste.
3.4Bottle. Pours fairly red with a pink tinged head. Smells of cloudberries, lots of berry to the taste. I’d have gone for sour raspberries and red currants but i suspect that’s lingonberries. There’s also a quite herbal/mineral? bitterness that i think is the sea buckthorn. So, sour and fruity with a bitter finish.
3.3Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy deep amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is red berries, stable notes, bitter herbs, melon, black currants and hints of grass, catty herbs and citrus peel. Taste is blueberries, black currants, red berries, water melon and hints of catty herbs and wet grass. Light body, medium carbonation. An extremely berry-oriented light IPA from BrewDog, strange as a moose and assertive like their labels. Pretty nice, although I generally think this much berries belong in fruit beers rather than IPAs Originality goes a long way, though.
3.3Smells like berry juice, red currant, strawberries and raspberry. A bit stringent taste
2.9Small white head. Deep red body with visible particles. Resiny
fruity wild berry armoa with ripe fruit and sea hawthorn. Wow. Weird.
Dryish resiny sea hawthorn and raspberry taste with mealy salty notes.
Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel with lumpy bits, feels like remains
of berries. Dryish salty wooden ripe fruit aftertaste with herbal
notes. More odd than good, in the end. (0.33l bottle, from wine
monopoly, Strømmen.)
3.1Flaska. Oklar rödorange öl med ett litet smutsvitt skum. Dofter av röda bär, citron och jäst. Smakinslag av citron, lingon, krusbär och gräs. Syrlig avslutning. Torr munkänsla.
