A seductive body of rich malts and a buxom amount of Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Bramling Cross hops have been added with mountains of fresh Norwegian lingonberries. This is one red berry hop explosion, best enjoyed with a faux air of aristocratic nonchalance.
We are also sending this beer to Norway. In Norway it will be known as ’Hello, my name is Censored’. You can make up your own mind as to why.
ABV: 8.2%
Hops: Citra, Nelson Sauvin and Bramling Cross
Twist: Infusion of Lingonberries -

3.81/3 pint flight, Brewdog Sheffield, post viva celebrations. Dense hazy gold, Sweet citrus with malt aroma, sweet flavour, bready honey and waring slight resin finish.
3.80,33L bottle, BB 27.08.2014. Pours hazy amber with white head. The head stays. Aroma is berries, malt, caramel, floral and resin. Taste is caramel, berries, floral, and pine bitter. Finish is lingering sour and intense pine bitter. Overall: nice hoppy brew.
3.2330ml bottle from Hippo Beers. Hazy orange amber, reasonable head. Resin hop aroma. Dry hone flavour. Bitter sweet aftertaste. Strong and sharp. OK but not one to get excited about.
Color ambar claro. Sabor a lupulo, alcohol, arandanos, ligeramente dulce, con regusto amargo.
3.4Bottle: Hazy, golden to orangey coloured with a big and slowly collapsing and lacy off-white head; solid dryish both piney and toasty-caramelly nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering - relatively soft´- dry - again - piney and caramelly finish with a mild herbal touch in the aftertaste. Very good, but barely mindblowing...
3.9Draft @ BrewDog Manchester. Aroma of honey, red berries. Hazy amber with small white head, lasting great!
Taste is alcoholic-sweet, malt, moderate bitterness.
Finish is warm and bitter. Oily texture, average carbonation.
3.7Bottle, shared with wyzzywyz22, cheers mate! Slightly hazy orange gold with a medium beige head. Aroma is lovely and hoppy. Flavour is sugary grapefruit hops, bit of pepper. Nice. Drinkable. Enjoyed this.
4.1Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. Hazy orange-amber coloured with sweet malty and earthy red fruity flavours followed by sherbet and orange blossom on the finish. Excellent!
3.7Hazy amber color with a small offwhite heaf, good lasting and lacing - Aroma is fruity, malty, citrusy, grapefruit, tea leaf hints of alcohol- Flavor is malty, citrusy , hints of cranberry - Medium body, good carbonation, medium bitterness, light bitter fruity finish - aroma is week not as usual with brewdog, probably an old bottle, good beer
3.2330ml Bottle from Brewdog.com:
Sweet with some tropical notes but it is the floral and herbal ones that start to take over after the initial burst of fruit. There is some lingonberries & pine hops as well; not as many as I would have expected or liked though.
Orange amber with a thumb-sized, bubbly head that is slightly off-white slowly recedes to leave a thin lacing on top.
Sweet floral notes, some herbal ones too and a lot of berries, some sweet fruits & faint hops which I wasn’t expecting consider the beer is a double IPA. A few sweet malts make an appearance too.
Smooth with a medium body & some sweetness throughout. There is a slight citrus tang & hints of spice with a little alcohol as well but not a lot. It was pretty easy drinking with a warming, boozy feel towards the end.
Fairly disappointing & definitely not up to the standard of the previous two beers in this Brewdog Hello My Name Is... series. The beer was still drinkable and had a nice feel to it but the taste wasn’t much like a double IPA and wasn’t all that exciting or bitter either.
3.6Deep golden with a white head - Good a very good hoppy aroma - Good malt to support a very good hop profile and with some berries in the back - Lingering dry hop finish with some berries in the end - This was good
3.7Bottled. Hazy orange, thin lacy head. Sweet, floral hop aroma, dried apricots, a hint of green leaves, caramel and fragrant lingonberry juice. Round, malty flavor, some dried fruits, pleasantly dry finish with slightly mineral bitterness. Not insanely bitter, but dry and persistent. Nice, balanced caramel aftertaste with slightly sour berry notes and hop resins. Balanced, tasty beer.
3.1Barwa: pomarańczowa, bursztynowa, delikatnie zmętniona. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, drobna i szybko zanikająca. Wysycenie średnie.
Aromat: chmielowy, ale mniej wyrazisty niż można by się spodziewać. Lekko słodowy, owocowy i alkoholowy.
Kolejne piwo z serii My name is... tym razem powiązane z Norwegią. Moim zdaniem zbyt wytrawne.
4.2floral, amber, orange, red, cloudy, minimal head, light sweetness, medium sweetness, very bitter, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, creamy, average carbonation, bitter,
3.4(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, orange colour with a short off-white foamy head. Yeasty and mildly bready cara-malty aroma with citrus-fruity and slightly resiny hoppy notes, accompanied by hints of sweat. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium bodied with a mild carbonation. Dry and slightly bready (cara-)malty taste with resiny and moderately fruity hoppy accents, also hints of slightly tart lingoberries; dry-ish bitter and slightly sweet finish with a mildly malt-character, resiny and slightly fruity hops with a slightly tart berry fruity touch. Not a perfect but flavourful IIPA. 27.II.14
3.3330ml bottle at home. Clear amber color with white head. Fruity and sweet herbal/spicy aroma (vegetables?). When it gets warmer the aroma is more hoppy (piney). Light hoppy, light sweet fruity and herbal taste with more bitter finish
3.3On tap at The Rover. Cloudy light amber with a small white head. Aroma is quite weak with malty and earthy notes, red berries and light acidic lingonberry notes. Taste is sweet caramel and red berries, light tart lingonberries and a distinct bitterness. Medium smooth body.
3.7Bottle from BrewDog online shop. Hazy orange/amber, 2cm frothy head, some watermelon aromas (must be the lingonberries?), citrus, pine, resiney bitterness, sweet caramel malt, dry bitter finish. Quite nice.
3.6Hazy orange color, tiny white head. Fruit and resin nose with a floral hint, earthy, caramel. Crisp, bitter taste, resin, present lingonberries, hint of alcohol. Bitter finish from the lingonberries, but well balanced. Full body, medium carbonation.
3.3Bottle. Let’s see what the BrewDogs have cooked up for "Norway’s Own Mette-Marit"; whatever it is they sure know how to market their brews. :-) Pours a deep slightly hazy orange body with a small white head. Aroma is floral piney notes, red berries, melon and hints of wet grass and mild herbs. Taste is pine, almond essence, pale malts, straw, lingonberries and hints of unripe banana and spruce. Medium body and carbonation. The lingonberry touch comes after a while, going from not present to lingering in the background. However, it doesn’t work wonders for the beer, which I find to be rather mediocre on overall.
3.0Hazy orange, small white head. Nose is malts, resin, citric tones with lingonberries. Taste is malts, citric hops, lingonberries, sweet notes. Dry and bitter-citric finish with some alcohol. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Lacks balance.
3.2Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush, London. A straw coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, piney, citrus fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, piney, citrus fruit. Was expecting much more from this one.
3.6Hazy, medium orange body with a tiny, frothy head that ends up as a partially covering film and some lacing. The aroma is strong and lovely sweet fruity with a caramel backdrop. Strong flavours that follow the aroma, with an added floral touch, and tart lingonberries in the finish that give the aftertaste a very dry feeling. Medium plus body and soft carbonation. A good one.
[33 cl bottle, batch 153, enjoyed 6 months before BB date, from Vinmonopolet Storo, Oslo]
3.2Bottled. Slightly hazy amber colour, small off-white foamy head. Aroma is citrus, parfumed soap, some berries and mild resiny notes. Flavour is citrus, toffee, berries and some wooden notes. OK, but nothing that mindblowing.
3.1Bottle. Dim orange IPA body, tall foamy head. Aroma has hops, I can recognize some Nelson Sauvin. Very dry taste of citric hops. Quite unbalanced at first but gets slightly more palatable as the bottle gets emptier. Big lingonberry dryness without the red juicy parts. Finish has some fir needles. I kind of expected this beer to be red and juicy, now I feel underwhelmed. I propose a new name for this beer: Hello, My Name Is Bog Water (Uncensored).
3.6Bottle. An unclear, golden colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. It’s piney and fruity on the nose, with notes of damp forest. Some pale malts too. It’s bitter and berryish on the palate, the lingonberries evident. Some malty sweetness too, leading to a finish with bitterness and lingonberries. Full-bodied and with a fine carbonation level. A quite nice one, but too unusual to be anything else than interesting. 131004
