3.0Bärnstensfärgad öl med flyktigt vitt skum. Doft av ljust knäckebröd och en lätt parfymig, blommig humledoft. Även smaken är blommig med inslag av frukt- och maltsötma, lätt tvålig munkänsla.
3.4light fruit hoppy aroma, golden, clear, off white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, soft carbonation, light grass finish.
3.6Dark golden colour, the head disappears quickly. Aroma of tropic fruits (mango) and some apricot. Fresh and hoppy. Taste is refreshing and fruity too. This was my fav from the IPA is dead collection.
3.4330 ml bottle. A clear orange golden body with a decent off-white head. Nice aroma of oranges, lemon, apples and caramel. Flavor of sweet caramel malt, fruit, berries, orange marmalade and pine, fine bitterness. Medium body and nice aftertaste. Balanced, not to hoppy but evident in flavor.

2.7Bottle. Light hazy amber liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of biscuit, citrus, grass, vegetables, herbal hops and caramel. Naaah. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of vegetables, herbal hops, citrus and some weird sweetness. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not really good.
3.6Nice to try unusual hop varieties. This one was quite lemony. Nicely constructed beer with good overall balance of taste-aroma-bitterness.
3.7Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. A finger-thick, off-white head sits on top of a clear, golden body. Mostly citrusy and piney aroma, with some maltyness underneath. Quite a lot of pink grapefruit, both in the aroma and flavor. Soft and smooth on the palate, full-bodied and semi-sweet. Quite bitter flavor, with a pleasant maltyness underneath. Lasting finish with pink grapefruit and a nice bitterness. A pleasant one. 121017

3.9Bottle. Poured deep orange in colour with a white head. Fresh and fruity hops in taste ith some tropical notes being strong on the nose. Flavour continiues with the same tropical notes being dominant. Quite nice, perhaps the one I liked most of this IPA is dead series.
4.1Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Amber pour with a restrained white head. Piney hop and tropical/citrus fruit aplenty present in the nose. Further juicy citrus in the flavour alongside some sweet malts and superb hoppage. Lengthy bitter finish. Cracking balance struck here. Really fine stuff, maybe the best in this series.
3.6Bottled. Poursclear and deep golden with a nice white head leaving a good lacing on the glass. Nose of caramel a tropital fruit notes. Sweet flavor of apricot, grapefruit and caramel. 3.4Bottle: Deep golden, bit unclear, large off-white and stable fluffy head, fruity flowery nose, pears and tangerines detectable; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; dry - but still a bit sweetish - fruity-hoppy finish. Not bad at all, but the fruitiness is really a bit strange…
3.9330 ml bottle. Crystal clear sparkling amber colour. There’s a little yeast in the bottom of the bottle, so the second glass was slightly hazy. Small off-white head that clings to the glass. Bold fruity resiny hop aroma. Tropical fruit. Nice malty flavours. Lots of caramel, much enhanced by the resiny hops. Honey and apricots. Love the hop.
3.9Bottle share with JF on Southampton beer up - 09/09/12.
Slightly hazy golden amber with a big frothy off-white head.
Fruit forward nose dominated by ripe grapefruit and bitter orange.
Caramel malt, pine, grapefruit, hops and bitter orange in the taste.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation leading to a bitter-sweet finish.
My favourite from of this 4 bottle series of single hop beers from Brew Dog.
4.1Pours deep amber with a large head.
Very fruity aroma, with tangerine, peach, orange blossom and pineapple along with a lot of sweet-smelling crystal malt and cookie dough characters.
Very similar flavours in terms of fruity hops, but some pine is added to the mix. Again, a fair bit of sweet malt too.
Perhaps a little over-carbonated.
3.5Bottled@Brewdog Camden, London. Deep orangeish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet fruity notes along with caramel and crystal with some slight grapefruit. Flavour is quite similar in a rather bitter way. Quite mouthdrying as well.
4.3Bottle. Hazy orange pour, foamy off-white head. Aroma is very fruity fresh hops, somewhat floral and slightly spicy. Flavor is bitter and very fruity. Almost suggesting sweetness. Very clean and a lovely hop variety.
4.04x0,33l bottle, IPA Is Dead four-pack from Csakajósör, Budapest. Clear, orange
color with medium, white head. At the beginning a piney odor catch my nose, than fresh berries appers. The aroma is herbal, piney, berry and a light resin flavour also appears. Intensive, heavy bitter taste. Medium body, creamy texture, average carbonation. Piney, grassy finish. Very delicious one, the piney hoppy plays the main role from the beginning to the end. This hop is awesome, piney and berries, especially blueberry and mulberry.
4.0Bottle from Voldby. Clear dark orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit and tropical fruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 050812
3.9330 ml bottle at home.
Clear orange in the glass with dense, off white head that settles quickly.
Aroma is heavy with various citrus notes: grapefruit, tangerine and (dried) orange. Maybe some tropical sweetness as well, along with dried grass. The aroma is nice at first, but gets even better and more appealing with warming up in the glass. Nice and complex.
Taste is a citrusy bitter, with some fruity sweetness to balance.
Good IPA.
3.4Bottle. Pours amber color with a tiny white head. Aroma is slight fruitiness, hay, caramel and a hint of cat piss.
Flavor is grapefruit, caramel malt, hay, orange and pine. Dry and bitterness aftertaste.
3.8Slightly hazy golden to amber colour, small sized head, disappears pretty quickly. Aroma beautiful floral hops, some citrus fruits. Taste is medium hoppy grassy bitter, with light sour citrus fruits twist. Drinks very well. This single hop does the IPA justice. Finish somewhat light bitter, that leaves you wanting more. Light fruity sweetness appears while drinking more.
3.6Bottle: Clear yellow colour, with a nice white head. Aroma is dominated of fruitynes, sweet maltynes, citrus and a kind of "Dustynes" That i prefer too call it! Flavor had a creamy smouth mouth feeling, of citrusand flowers, caramellynes and in the end, there was sweet maltynes who give it a balanced carakter. Well done in this alcy level, who it is werry offen moore dominated alcy mouth feeling!!
4.2A really good IPA that. Very fruity taste and smell and very well. However, I miss a little taste. Do hardly any taste at all. When I would drink this I did not think it would be so good. This beer, I would easily buy again. Raw beer this is.
3.5from Erzbierschof - clear amber-orange beer with a moderate head retention; piney and resiney hoppiness with notes of red fruits marmalade below; pretty full-bodied and gently sticky; a decent bitterness, very aromatic finish with some residual sweetness and more resiney hoppiness
