3.2 Bottle. Pours golden with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, mint, some floral notes and citrus. Flavor is sweet and fruity with some floral notes, citrus and malt. Medium body, average carbonation.
2.8 Bottle sample at a tasting at Tom’s place. Thanks Shumpi. Hazy golden with small off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, a bit stale with notes of honey, herbs and onion. Sweet honey flavor, medium hoppy bitterness, notes of herbs and caramel, citrus peels, notes of onion and quite malty. Moderate carbonation, medium-bodied.
2.9 Bottle sample at a tasting, thanks Shmupi. Hazy orange with a small head. Smell of fruity hops, a bit stale, and caramel. Sweet, taste of tropical fruits, a bit malty, medium herbal bitterness. Medium-bodied, oily palate.
3.3 Bottiglia da 33cl Color miele, molto torbida. Schiuma praticamente inesistente.
3.2 Draught @ BrewDog Shepherds Bush, 15-19 Goldhawk Road, Shepherds Bush, Greater London England W12 8QQ. [ As BrewDog IPA is Dead - Kohatu ]. Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, fruity, earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, caramel, fruity - tropical fruit, hay, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140418]
2.9 How: Bottle. Where: Systembolaget. Appearance: Golden colour with a white head. Aroma: Citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit. Body: Medium body and carbonation. Flavour: Citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit.
3.4 Ostatnie z serii IPA is Dead. IPA is Not Dead!!
3.2 Amber with a small white head. Aroma is lemon, grapefruit, caramel, honey, molasses. Taste is caramel, honey, lemon, some floral and earthy notes. Bitter and a little alcoholic in mouth. Good beer.
3.2 Bottle, 330 ml from Magic Beer Room, Zagreb. Pours amber with white head. Light to medium fruity and hoppy aroma and flavor. Bit spicy. Bitterish finish. Expected more pronounced hops.
3.5 Pours amber, hazy, with average white head, medium bubbles, reduced quickly to a ring. In aroma mango, peach, little bit of booze. Medium to low sweet, medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture, average to low carbonation, bitter finish.
3.5 Mikon luona 1/2015, one of the four "IPA is Dead" -selection tasted. Lacks some bitterness I think.
3.3 Bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo enjoyed at home Pours dark copper with a red tone, very hazy, creamy beige head with wonderful lacings. Probably the best looking of this series. Smell of tropical fruits, hints of weak pine, lime, earthy aromas and some mango. Moderate sweet, earthy flavors, tropical fruits and lime peel, hints of tea and pineapple in the back. Moderate bitter finish. A bit weak on the bitterness, but still good
3.6 Barwa miodowa, złota, wyraźnie zmętnione. Piana średnio pęcherzykowa, obfita, ładnie i gęsto zdobi szkło. Aromat bardzo interesujący. Bardzo dojrzałe owoce (ananas, troszkę malin), lekko słodowe i minimalnie żywiczne, sosnowe. W smaku jasne słody, chmiel, znów lekko owocowe. Goryczka typowo chmielowa, bez nut alkoholowych.
3.6 02.01.2015, 0,33l bottle @ home: Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh foresty, pine needles, lime peel, bark, leafs, hops, moss, lawn, light malts, alcohol. Taste is slightly concentrated dry foresty, pine needles, bark, hops, alcohol, citrus peel, minerals, grass, leafs, moss, hints of tropical fruits. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. Nice.
3.7 33cl bottle. Pours clear amber with thin off-white head. Malty aroma, some fruits thrown in. Medium carbonation. Taste is slightly sweet, malty with fruity notes. Medium bitterness going into quite short aftertaste with alcohol backdrop. Interesting single-hop and well-made.
3.7 Gylden klar brun med høyt offwhite skum. Grapefrukt, sitrusskall og lett karamellukt. Mye fruksødme i denne, sydhavsfrukter men en fin mild bitter avslutning. Medium kullsyre.
2.9 Appearance: Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Aroma: Malty, candy, hoppy and fruity. Palate: Medium + body. A bit sweet that the bitterness did not follow up. Average carbonation. Taste: Sweet malty, unusual citric hoppy and tropical fruity. Overall impression: Funny to tatse this hop series. And I know now that Kohatu is not my favourite hop. Personal stats: Bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo, Norway
3.2 33cl bottle shared by Cunningham - thanks a lot! Pours almost clear golden to amber with an off-white head. Fairly fruity aroma with sweet malt, caramel some floral notes and hints of citrus and cat piss. Fairly sweet, but with the tropical fruity flavours, some acidity and a fairly decent bitterness. Medium+ body with carbonation slightly on the soft side. Decent IPA, but hardly a favourite.
3.6 Bottle 0.33l. Medium body and carbonation. Slightly bitter. Fruity aroma. Smell of roasted duck with orange. Some mediterranean herbs in aroma. Not bad.
3.7 Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head that lasts. Aroma of oranges and pink grapefruit with some candy. Very bitter initial taste with a hint of floral and a strong bitter finish. Tasty but not special
3.1 Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is sweet with deep smell of hops, meantime the aroma is malty and full. Pours dark hazy orange with a medium white head. Taste is sweet with some caramel, fruits and brown sugar. Leaves a thin after taste. Palate is thin and drinkable. Overall a decent IPA though not very exciting.
3.6 citrus, spruce, amber, red, hazy, frothy, light sweetness, medium bitterness, light body, oily feel, lively, long finish,
3.6 33 cl systembolaget.

Medium to full body, very creamy and silky texture, soft carbonation. Easy, very aromatic, perfect palate.
3.4 On bottle from Vinmonopolet Hasle, Norway.- bb date 11 ,arch 2015. Clear golden color, good foam. Medium aroma intensity, caramel, hops, toffee, some notes of lemongrass. Medium bdy & complexity . Some immediate sweetness, good bitterness and balance. Enjoyable
3.3 Pretty great IPA, but as well as other single hops, the taste is not as well balanced as the aroma is beautiful. Ok balanced body, and refreshing, but the taste lacks complexity.
3.5 Bottle at another tasting. Hazy gold pour with white head. Aroma is grassy, light coriander, light lemon notes, vaguely reminiscent of Indian food. Taste is nice and fruity, nice tropical fruit. Good
3.5 Bottle @ Another Tasting, courtesy of me. Pours a slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head on top. Aroma is very herbal, vegetables, light piney. Flavor is very light, subtle fruits going on. Aftertaste is short, medium bitter, very grassy and decent hop characters going on here! Good stuff!
