Old rating from 2016 - 330ml bottle, pours black with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, oats, earth, toffee, bread, caramel & roasted malt. Medium body. Dry smooth sweet finish

pas mon style de bière mais bien apprécié avec fromage saucisson et rillettes. Énorme mousse beige à grosses bulles. Arôme café froid et alcool. On retrouve la vanille , le café accompagné d'une belle douceur. Une très bonne bière !
Nice black looking stout with thick white head. Smell is roasted malts and dark chocolate. Taste is roasted, dark chocolate, caramel, slight vanilla and milky. Lovely and easy to drink.
16oz can from the source in Cincinnati. On nitro in a can! Certainly a nitro pour. Aroma hits with roasted chocolate, caramel, earth, and some fruit. Taste is of super smooth sweet malts, dark chocolate, caramel, vsnilla, some oats. Maybe medium bodied, and nitro. Finishes sweet & bittersweet. Tasty. 14.6

402ml can (never had that quantity before) from Morrisons. I'm trying the Nitro 6% version but its been aliased to this one so there we go. Pours black, there is the faintest of ruby red at the bottom when put to a light but near enough to 'jet black'. Lovely small beige creamy head which lasts. Aroma has all the classics of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate and vanilla but I am picking up the oatmeal in the background. Taste is sweet, roasty, coffee, lactose, hint of vanilla, moderate bitterness. Body is full, lovely and smooth. Its a very well made milk stout.
Coffee flavor mixed with some chocolate is the main flavor. Low alcohol level for a stout only 6 percent. Still very smooth and well done. Can I have another one please?
More of a dessert than a beer. Super smooth, excellent mouth feel, chocolate, coffee, espresso martini. Vanilla on the nose
Mainly roasted notes in the aroma; coffee and hints of chocolate. When it comes to the taste, the beer is also dominated by roasted notes with pleasant bitterness coming from roasted malts. When gets warmer, there appear notes of dried fruits like raisins, cherries or plums.
Tap nitro version has got a really nice, full body.
Can. Morrison’s, I think. 6% and a nitro pour. Surely this warrants a separate entry? Pours like chocolate milk. Sits in the glass competemy black, with a thick, creamy, fully lacing, lasting, beige head. It looks fantastic. Nose has milky coffee. Milk chocolate. Vanilla. Hint of roast malt. Taste is sweet and milky, with a decent hit of coffee and roast malt bitterness. Super smooth mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness to finish. Maybe it’s the fact I’ve not had a beer for a week, but this just disappeared in seconds. Definitely one I’d happily fill the fridge with. Great stuff.

Pours pitch black with a khaki head. Poured from a can in the nitro form very creamy and smooth mouth feel. Aromas of chocolate and a little coffee. Taste the same with just a tiny bit of hot bitterness at the end to cleanse the palate. Nice long lasting head that sticks to the glass.I would say medium on the pallet. Overall very nice beer this one was brewed in Ohio though.

On tap at the Highlander Pub (Ottawa, ON). Pours an opaque black body with a lasting beige creamy head. Good malty aroma with chocolate, hoppy, and roasty hints. Taste is similar to the aroma. Long, well balanced, sweet/roasty finish. Well done.

Aromat bardzo intensywny, zdominowany przez kawę, ale pojawia się też gorzka czekolada i nuty palone; muśnięcie laktozy na drugim planie. Genialna, drobniutka piana, wygląda jak marzenie. Smak mniej intensywny, acz przyjemny, melanż kawy i mlecznej czekolady. Lekka laktozowa słodycz. Całkowicie płaskie. Ciało niskie w kierunku średniego.
Draft at Lucky's, served in a pint glass. Pours a deep, dark, brown - yeah, basically black - with a small beige head that settles into a ring and very thin film. Notes of roasted malts, burnt sugar, dark chocolate, earth, tobacco, coffee, cream, and toasted oats. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a roasty, toasty, semi-sweet mouthfeel. Just a good stout.

Baker's chocolate nose, raisin accents. Black, medium creamy tan head. Charcoal, much more subdued raisin and cocoa. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.
I make no apologies for this being a brewdog fave. Pours like guiness tastrs like guiness only with more chocolate notes
Dark, opaque, tan beerhead,creamy, firm, and lacing foam, good retention. Roasted malts flavors, cream, vanilla, licorice, chocolate, strong sweetness, mild touch, medium bitterness, soft carbonation. The taste is nutty, toffee, caramel, cream like. very good.
Nitro can, WW. Black, nitro beige head. Roasted malt, coffee beans, sweet chocolate nose. Flavor is creamy milk chocolate, caramel, ground coffee, sweet lactose. Almost a hint of fruit but not quite. Smooth, very nice.
