3.40,33L bottle, ABV 7,4%. Pours ruby-brown with tan head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is caramel, toast, sweetness, and some alcohol. Flavor is sweet, caramel, toast, and malt. Finish is hoppy bitter and caramel. Overall: ok hoppy brew.
3.0Shared by martjoobolut, thanks! Brown beer, brown head. Nose is caramel, toasty-nutty notes. Flavor is toasty malt, caramel, chocolate hints, bitterness in the finish. Not that interesting.
3.6Botella de 33 cl, adquirida en tienda XXXII. Color marron oscuro, casi negro. Sabor a malta tostada, cafe.
3.9Mørk, mørk brun med et off white skum, dette holdt bra og la seg etterhvert som et lokk. Aroma av malt, kaffe, sjokolade, vanillje og hint av røster malt. Smaken følger aroma, mye tyligere sjokolade i smaken, fin bitterhet i avsluttningen. Ettersmak som varte en god stund.
3.7Bottle at home. Pours brown, sweet vanilla on nose, nutty chocolate taste, dry.
3.7Bottle. Brown with a small head.Slightly malty with a medium body. Quite drinkable with some complexity. Not one of their greats but still worth trying.
3.8Deliciously roasty smell, a lot of espresso and chocolate in it. Colour is a wonderful dark brown with a nice brown head.
Taste is not overwhelming, acidic and flat. Was expecting a bit more after such a wonderful smell.
3.6Bona cervesa, equilibrada i gustosa.

Potente sabor a café. Ligeramente agria. Un sabor y aroma que atrapa todo el paladar. Presencia alcohólica bastante notable. Cuerpo sorprendentemente ligero con no demasiado gas y fondo algo seco. Es una cerveza para beber tranquilamente.
3.9Bottle from Bottle Park. Aroma is perceptibly nutty, with light fruity hops background. Clear dark brown colour. Taste is fruity up front, assertive bitterness, but in excellent balance with nutty biscuity caramelly maltiness. Just a slightest hint of roast, mostly in finish. Full bodied, easily drinkable. Long balanced finish. Very good experiment.
3.2Bottle from Asahiya. Sweet juicy roast malt nose, light spice and nutty notes. Light translucent brown. Gentle sugary toasty malt / balances with some rough hops / barely detect the hazelnuts or the oak / hop tingling finish. Medium body. Okay. Has some roughness than doesn’t belong in a brown ale.
3.5A rather nice brown ale with a mild taste. Not the best that BrewDog has offered, however, drinkable. Nice to try but there are better beers to try out there.
3.4Bottle from CBB. A pitch black pour with a foamy beige head. Fruity, figs, malts in the nose. Medium bodied with a slightly rough mouthfeel from the carbonation. The taste is chocolate, bitter dark chocolate, some cherries but I don’t get much oak or hazelnuts. Not bad. It opened up somewhat after warming up but stayed in the well made but average category.
3.6Full bodied, rich and tawny but perhaps lacking a defining character. Chocolate, caramel, toffee and some firm hop assertiveness.
4.7Drank from a 0,33 bottle. Beatiful brown color with nice head. Roasted hazelnuts in aroma. Hazelnuts also in taste, really nice full body.
3.633cl bottle from Sterk, Amsterdam. Dark brown with an off-white head. Medium body with light to moderate carbonation. Coffee, brown sugar, roasted malts and nuts. A quality full flavoured brew.
3.8Dark body, tan head. Nice aroma with malts, some syrup and brown sugar. Soft taste, not too strong. Slight bitter kick in the end. Soft mouthfeel, tingly carbonation. Pretty good ale.

3.4Bottle.Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, some roasted notes, chocolate and yeast. Flavor is sweet and malty with ssome coffee, chocolate, cxaramel, grains and yeast. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.4Bottle. Dark brown body, tiny beige head. Alcoholic aroma with roasted malt, caramel, honey, oak. Taste follows up with sweet caramel and roasted malt, again with a noticable alcohol note. Aftertaste is roasted with nuts. A decent beer, though I’d like the alcohol to be a bit more hidden.
3.0Bottle 33 cl from erzbierschof.ch. Brown with hoppy and woody aromas, with cocoa, nuts-hazelnuts, brown sugar, licorice and burnt. The hop stay on notes of pine and citrus. aromatic beer, but lacks some extent cause the dryness. The citrus and nuts do not seem in perfect harmony. Slightly rough and astringent.
