3.6God og velsmagende juleøl. Masser af fylde. Tilpas sødme og bitterhed. Fin aroma.
0.7Niet een hele uitgesproken smaak, Moutig en vlak en hinten van karamel/rozijnen. -backlog de BierApp-
2.9Classic scotch ale, malty, caramel. Decent drinking, could do with a heavier ABV to give it a stronger presence.
3.5330ml bottle. Pours dark mahogany with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, Christmas pudding, nutty, chocolate and some whisky. Light but full of flavour. Taste is roasted malt, Christmas pudding, chocolate, caramel and slightly boozy. Yeah ok.
3.3Bottle from Systembolaget Sweden. Big and lastning fluffy brown head. Mild malty aroma. Light roasted malt taste with a low to medium bitterness. Medium body.
6,2/10
3.2Dark colour with red tones to the light. Medium head good retention and lace.
Aroma of chocolate, licorice, spices. Smoke notes.
Medium body, creamy and smokey texture. Normal carbonation.
Taste is more smokey that smell, chocolate and spices, nutmeg.
Easy drinkable Christmas beer, because of the low graduation. But I prier the stronerg and more complex belgian Christmas.
2.6Quite dry ale, nice ryeish maltiness and sateet dry fruityness.
3.5Weird seeing BrewDog doing something traditional and not smothering it in *that* hop haha - very dark, very robust scotch ale with a nice warming kick. Perfect, as the name indicates, for this time of year. Did not realise that this was so strong when I was drinking it, though. 330ml bottle from Morrison supermarket.
3.40,3 litre Bottle from Gulating Hamar. Almost Black with offwhite head. Roasted malts and Chocolate aroma and taste!
3.2Ar: roasted malt, biscuit, caramel Ap: dark brown, almost black, brown creamy head T: med sweetness, low bitterness P: med body, long finish
3.04.5% Wee Heavy - 330 ml bottle - BrewDog (Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom).
Pours a clear, jet-black beer - a little chestnut brown when held up to the light. Fine carbonation trapped in the beer chases a thin, beige-coloured head. Big roasty notes as soon as you open the bottle. Chocolate and coffee up front, with hints of vanilla cream, and heady notes of tobacco smoke. Faint sprigs of spruce, moss, damp earth, and turmeric. There is a subtle sweetness to the beer, but the bitter roast dominates. More herbal towards the back end. Light-bodied and slick, but tickles the tongue with carbonation and spicy hops.
There's not a lot to say, as its profile is pretty flat. Simple, but by no means unpleasant.

3.3On tap at Brewdog Liverpool. Pours dark brown to black with a white head. Toast, biscuit, charcoal, tobacco, touch of dried fruit. Full body. Fine.
4.0Bottle from BrewDog bottlebox, Christmas 2017. Black with a very thin, off white head. Malt and chocolate aroma continues in the taste with bready notes.
3.0Salling taster. Pours brown with an off white head. Aroma of Cocoa, Christmas spices, slight roast and dark malts. Taste of star Anis, roasted malts, dark malts and some spice.
3.2Bottle. Bubbly tan head with a dark red body. Caramel, toast, some yeast. Almost dry, light sweetness, a bit roasty. Slick medium body with pearly, soft carbonation. Okay.
3.027-NOV-2017, bottle @home, brought by Morten, thx. :-)
Dark Brown with a lasting, tan head. Caramel, bread, metallic hops. Sweet malt. Bleh!
3.6Tastes like Christmas pudding would taste, if it were a beer!
3.4@ Brewdog, Brussel. Hazy dark brown colour, beige foam. Sweet, caramel, dark fruit, some spices. Ok, but a bit messy.
3.5Bottle, 33cL. Home. A very dark brown sparkling mahogany beer with a medium beige head ; average retention. Caramel, candied fruits, roast, prune, light herb. Light sweet, light to medium dry bitter refreshing. Medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, sweet caramel dry refershing finish. Overall, good !
2.7Clear brown copper body, small tan head. Aroma of dried plum, fig, toffee, toasted malt. Flavours of dried plum, lught toffee, toasted malt, astringent. Short toffee astringent bitter dry finish. Appealing nose, disappointing flavour. Lacking the dried fruitiness you would expect for the style and the astringence breaks the beers.
3.4Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). From the cellar. Hazy deep amber colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is slightly roasted with some nutty notes as well as mild spices and some roasted malts. Flavour is smoked wood, some mild roasted and nutty notes with mild ripe fruits and some slight alcohol notes.
2.9Bottle at home. A dark beer with a good head and a pleasing appearance. There was malt and sweetness, but the flavour and the mouthfeel were very short. And it wasn’t "Christmassy," whatever that may mean.
