3.2 Can from Asahiya. Nose of caramel, pine, sugary and spicy, with some rye. Deep reddish brown color. Resin, deep caramel, some dark fruit notes in mid palate, and spice. Medium body, and getting right to the edge of stickiness. Pleasant. The rye is apparent in the aroma but not much in the flavor.
3.6 Bottle @ Sisters. Appearance: pours clear copper with good off-white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: bread, light caramel, rye, grapefruit, citrus and pine. palette: strong hoppy aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat dominated by notable bitterness, average duration and a watery texture. Overall: excellent stuff considering ABV
3.6 A lot of citrus and bitterness from the hops. An IPA, not a red ale. From the rye, some spicy, whiskey notes. And a sweet burnt caramel malt. A lot going on. No holding back or attempt to be subtle.
3.3 Fruity nose with some citrus. Pours red amber with small head and low carbonation. Taste is fruity as well to go with malts. Palate short but malty sweet.
3.4 The 660 ml bottle pours a dark amber red with a beige head. Aroma is sweet and spicy rye, caramel, toffee, light citrus like notes. The taste is malty, spicy rye, caramel, sweet toffee, light fruits, citrus, a moderate bitterness. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth. Really not a bad beer.
3.5 Bottle 66cl. Clear dark red with an off white head. Nose has hints of malt, caramel and fresh hops. Nice taste. Medium rich, especially considering that the alc/vol only 5,2% is. Lots of hoppy flavour. Medium bitterness.
2.5 Strange mix of bitterness as in normal IPAs mixed with burnt caramel notes. Could have been good if a more heavy style was intended, but it doesn't work with the high citrus acidity.
3.8 Deep amber pour with a decent tan head. Caramel, light spice, grapefruit and pine aromas. Taste is caramel, spicy, orange and grapefruit, light sweetness at first but it gives way to spicy, malty bitter finish

3.5 Can from Brewdog shop. Copper color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, rye, hops, nuts and a bit of fruits. Bitter finish with citrus, rye, hops, nuts, bread and a bit of fruits. Very nice brew.
3.3 310318. Can from brewdog. I should stop buying rye ipas, at least the lower abv ones. It hides the hops and there's really nothing special to replace it. Rye, bread, toffee. Hint of hops and house brewdog. Good balance though. Not Bad.
3.5 Sample at 89 Upper, Udon Thani. Thin white head. Clear amber pour. Lovely bitterness. Very good.
4.0 Deep crystal red with a finger of lasting beige foam. Notes of caramel, nuts, resin & pine. Mostly bitter, not super intense. Very nice. Light body, medium carbonation... Goes down very easily. It doesn't make you go "wow", but it is good af.
3.5 Can. Deep red with a pale beige head. A: spiced bread crust, prunes, orange peel. Just medium bodied, carbonation is highish. Very clean with bread crust, spices, some dark sugar notes, hints of prune. Moderate bitterness. Another solid rye beer from BrewDog that's quaffable but offers enough of interest.

3.6 33cl Can from Vonk. Clear deep amber-brown colour, light-beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus, caramel, tobacco, spruce, spicy rye. Flavour follows, nice and hoppy, perhaps a bit thin but very sessionable. Nice red rye ipa.
3.3 Bottle 660 ml with ABV 5.2 % from Tesco. Aromas are malts, caramel, earth and berries/fruit. Pours a clear dark maroon/chestnut body with cream-white head. Taste is refreshing malts, caramel, earth and autumn berries with a crisp citrusy finish. Good beer.
3.6 Slot Machine is a Rye-IPA with a really nice aroma of citrus, peach and apricot. The foam is medium and persistent. The taste is lightly sweet of dark rye bread, and quite quickly the bitterness enters with fresh taste of exotic fruit. Citrus, peaches, apricot and pine needle controls the taste most, but a little malt can be traced in the form of rye bread and caramel. It's a pretty delicate IPA with an IBU of 55, equivalent to a strong hoppy Pale Ale or a moderately bitter IPA. In the aftertaste there is a little undefined spice, which I can best determine as thyme and pepper. It's a nice and easy-to-drink IPA.
