BrewDog Trashy Blonde

BrewDog Trashy Blonde

Bottle and keg, occasional

previously available cask conditioned

"You know you shouldn’t."

Ingredients: Maris Otter, Caramalt and Munich Malt; Motoeka (Belgian Saaz) and Amarillo hops.

A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say?

The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.

2.9 24. 8. 2017, Ljubljana. Bottled. Lagery aroma. Aroma sets it apart fro laher though. Lightbodied with dry palate. Well balanced but nothing special. OK but not very good.
3.0 Bottle from Pivný raj. Clear gold. Malty aroma. This blonde is not as trashy as promised. Well crafted ale, but not giving any extraordinary experience.
4.0 hvis man vil have god humlet øl, er den her lige sagen. den smager meget af humle, men med en finbalance.
Esterig. Droge afdronk. M: Dorstlesser met medium carbonatie.
3.5 On tap at beaches brew hanabi Ravenna. Pale color fresh hoppy upfront. Solid malt backbone nicely hopped. Fresh and very quaffable, dry bitter finish.
3.3 Draught at Long John’s Pub, Amersfoort. Clear golden with a medium white soapy head. Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Subtle bitter and sweet tones. Citrus, hay and grass. OK brew.
3.1 Bottle from systembolaget. Decent choice and drinkable but not sure what it even is....bot a golden ale of English style, not an American or craft beer hop feet and don’t think it is blonde much. But hey, decent choice.
3.1 Tap at BrewDog Tallinn. Clear golden colour, small white head. Worty, malty, sweet. Aroma. Some honey in aroma. Fresh malty taste, some grass, hay. Light bodied, average carbo. Nothing wrong, but quite boring. Drinkable.
3.3 Bottle. Straw-Gold in colour. Hoppy; resinous piney hops. Fruity; grapefruit-citrus and tropical fruits. Malty; biscuity malts and caramel. Nice hop/fruit/malt balance. Juicy fruity hops over sweet malts. Assertively bitter finish. Quite tasty. (2009-01)
3.4 33 cl bottle. Clear, filtered, light golden amber, thin head, rich carbonation. Aromas of malts and citrus fruits. Mouthfeel is fizzy, bitter and dry. Nice amount of hops in the flavour, slightly grassy and citrusy.
3.2 Bottle, 0.33l. Clear pale golden color with medium creamy white head and average sparkling appearance. Easy to drink.
3.3 On tap. Golden color with one finger head. Slight citrus aroma. Taste is very light, but still good.
3.9 Flaske fra Eurospar Kræmer. Aroma fruktig, sitrus, smør. Utseende gylden med hvitt tykt skum. Smak humle, sitrus, malt, fruktig friskhet, fint avstemt.
3.7 Aroma: Smelling of grain, bitter oranges and grass. Appearance: A clear dark straw colored beer. A high white head with good lacing and good curtains. Taste: Tasting toffee, bread, orange marmalade and grape-fruit peel. Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A good body with a long dry finish. Overall: A solid brew, fresh, fruity and bitter. Sipping quality. Note: Bottle 330 ml at home. Reviewed 2016-06-20.
3.4 Pours a golden yellow. Aromas of pale malt, big hops, some citrus. Flavor of light malts, citrus and some good hop bite.
2.8 330ml bottle from Systembolaget, Sollentuna. Clear pale golden, medium size, white head that just leaves some lacing. Aroma of citrus, grass and grains. Light, soft and watery mouthfeel. Malty and mild fruity taste biscuits, citrus and grass.
1.7 33 cl systembolaget. Fick denna i födelsedagspresent av svärmor. Tanken var god men inte ölen.
3.1 hay, bread, herbs, barnyard, skunky, golden, amber, clear, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, salty, light body, creamy, average carbonation,
3.2 Bottle - Lightly hazy golden colour small but persistent white head. decent hoppy aromas with fruity and flowery notes, some citrus, peach, red berries. Taste is mostly sweet with some caramel, bread, and fruity hoppiness, peach, grass and slight strawberry. Light body, average carbonation, moderate hop bitterness.
3.3 From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Decent fruity brew, maybe a bit watery.
3.0 The beer is pleasant hoppy, exactly as it should be in a pale ale. Good notes citrus, while the conclusion reveals a slight taste of passion fruit. A little malt sweetness can briefly captured in the beginning, but it’s the hops that dominate this beer the most.
3.4 Golden with a medium off white head. Aromas of biscuits and some caramel upfront where the passion fruit, lime and orange notes shine through. Softly carbonated, bit slick, medium bodied. Good balance between sweet and bitter notes. Medium finish, pleasant table beer.
3.3 Bottle. Pours golden with good head. A nice refreshing blode with a decent push back from the hops. Very enjoyanble beer even if a little one dimentional.
