Piana: Średnia, spadająca w dół do wąskiego okręgu. Jakieś niemrawe przebłyski karmelu, trochę ziół, a w oddali mocno przejrzałe owoce tropikalne. Smak: W smaku jest dużo lepiej. Mamy tutaj trochę cytrusów. Brylują ananasy, pomarańcze i mandarynki. Podsumowanie: Piwo kolaboracyjne między włoskim browarem Brew Fist, a duńskim Beer Here.
3.1 330ml bottle pours cloudy orange with slow forming white head. Intense aromas of citrus, grass, floral characters and a little soap. Tastes of mandarin, orange, pine, wheat and some nutty and herbal undertones. Not overly refined with a little tartness and bitterness in the finish. The retro artwork on the bottle of a caterpillar smoking a joint makes this reasonably interesting Italian beer infinitely cool.
3.2 330 ml bottle, from an archeological excavation in my beer cellar (originally from Vinmonopolet). BB date 28.02.14. ABV is 5.8%, IBU 50. Gusher bottle. Deep golden to orange colour, huge white head. Aroma of ripe and over-ripe berries (esp. cloudberries) and fruits. The flavour is fairly fresh and well hopped, fruity and moderately piney notes.
3.6 Peach colour with a present white head medium grained. At the nose hay, grain, rye and some caramel. The hops brings to your nose notes of pine, peach, lively lemon and lime tones with background hints of tropical fruit. In the mouth is medium-light bodied, the right carbonation and a well made mixed of flavour between sweetness and bitterness make this beer refreshing and easy-drinking. The after taste is long and persistent, wrapping the palate of pleasant tropical fruits scents. Nice one
3.0 Aroma of old, semi-rotten fruit. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite bitter at first. Then citric. Does not have much aromatic quality. Could have been more fresh.
3.6 Bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with lazing white head. Aroma of light malts, bread, cream, peach and a grassy citrus hoppiness. Taste is light malty with biscuit, rye and has a creamy, peachy and citrus-like hoppy taste. Finish is balanced malt, hops and bitterness.
3.0 330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours cloudy orange, thin white head. Aroma is lightly sweet mushy fruit. Taste is light and fresh, some initial orange before mildly bitter grapefruit, citrus, rye, pithy bitter rind.. I presonally prefer my pale ale to be fruitier, but this was refreshing enough.
3.4 Nice combination of IPA-ish bitterness and sweet grainy taste of the Rye malt. It’s not to heavy. Good beer.
3.7 Aus der Flasche vom Händler des Vertrauens. Geniale Mischung aus Gersten-, Weizen- und Roggenmalzen. Pinie und Grape Fruit im Geschmack. Nur 50 IBUs? Ich schmecke mindestens 80!!!
3.9 Tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a hazy golden amber with a small, oily, white head. Aroma has nice, grassy hops, peach, mango, light barley sweetness and lots of rye, and god rye works well in hoppy beers! Taste is super fresh. Light sweetness, lots of minty rye, light strawberry-fruityness, medium bitter finish. High carbonation and a medium oily body. Rye just brings a whole new dimension to freshness.
3.3 33cl bottle from Melgers just over the best before date. Thick creamy white head. Hazy light amber pour. Nice bitterness despite the age. Easy drinking.
3.1 Bottle, 5.8%. Aroma of old, semi-rotten fruit. Cloudy dark orange colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is quite bitter at first. Then citric. Does not have much aromatic quality. Could have been more fresh, I suppose.
3.7 Bottle. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with malty and fruity notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with fruity and citric notes and touches of malt. Estery hints, especially in the aftertaste, which is quite bitter and grassy. Well-balanced and quite decent.
3.5 On tap. Orange with medium white head. Fruity aroma. Sweet malt flavour with tangerine notes, mango, pine. Mild bitterness, dry finish
3.7 Aroma - undeniable caramel, cereal, and some nut. Appearance - orange/amber body, with some nucleation. Unfiltered yeast bodies. Head is off-white and frothy ~ measuring in at well over 3 1/2". Head retention is unparalleled. Lacing is ZZ Top "A Fool for your Stockings" lucious. Taste - has abundant caramel malt, some Columbus hops offering that pungent hop quality. However, the weight of the caramel neutralize the hops here and leaves it very palatable. Palate - medium body, creamy, average carbonation, ultra light bitters.
3.3 Botella. del @Coalla, Oviedo 21/12/2015. BBD:30/07/16 Color amarillo turbio, aroma frutal, sabor frutal, caramelo, toques hervales, cuerpo medio.
3.5 Strandslag 10, de grote IPA slachterij. Fruitig, lekker. Backlog from 2015/07/04.
Den kunne godt have haft mere sødme i.
3.8 Bottle - Cloudy deep golden colour, small, persistent white head. Tropical frutiy hop aromas, mango, pine, lemon zest. Sweet malty taste with some biscuit, caramel, then fruity hoppy bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation, smooth mouthfeel, lingering mild bitterness. Well rounded exotic pale ale.
4.1 330ml bottle from Beer52. Pours with a thin light head, strong aroma with apples, hay and toffee. Taste is perfectly bitter, with slight pine resin edge, tastes of caramel but with refreshing citrus.
3.8 from la Mise en Bière - cloudy dark blond beer under a solid and long lasting foam; fair hoppy aroma of peaches and mango, perfumy; lively, assertive and with a fair carbonation; good malt backbone, solid bitterness, long herbal, citric an tangerines hoppy finish
4.0 Nice pale ale. Very bitter but once given time to warm up more tropical fruit flavours come through. Looks a bit murky and the carbonation was almost non existent. Good beer but not amazing.
3.4 Cloudy Orange ale with a Citroen Orange aroma, grapefruit flavour with pronounced bitterness in the finish. Pleasant, although the hops don’t quite make it to the forefront
3.4 33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A murky amber pour with a ring of white head; citrus aroma with some grain in the background; bitter grapefruit taste; and a lasting fruity bitterness. Rather muddy overall, and lacking the expected impact.
3.4 on tap at the taphouse in copenhagen. the dregs of the keg so understandably murky, somewhat nutty maly character, light tropical fruit character, decent bitterness, menthol; pretty nice
4.3 Bottle. Hazy orange color with small white head. Aroma - Pine, mango, pineapple. Taste - Medium bitter, orange, herbs, lemon, flowers, malts. Rich!
