Brewfist Czech Norris

Brewfist Czech Norris

Bottle: Unfiltered

Imperial Pils

Initially at 7% ABV

Ingredients: Malt: Pilsner, Carapils, Monaco; Hops: Saaz

3.3 pretty nice "robust" pils with a good bready background and a slight hoppy floral aroma and aftertaste. Just a touch bitter. Kind of expensive, though.
2.9 Bottle 33cl / Botella 33cl. @ Cervezorama 2.0, Madrid, España. A: Hazy golden / Dorado turbio. T/S: Malt, sweet, citrusy, slightly hoppy / Malta, dulce, citrico, ligeramente a lupulo.
3.0 Saaz-humlen smages helt klart igennem i denne ellers meget ale-smagene øl.
3.6 Bottle. Pours hazy darkish straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt, with estery, citrusy and hoppy notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of fruit and flowers and malty touches. Bitter and estery aftertaste with needlelike notes. A very decent Imperial Pils, quite unlike the typical terrible Mocne.
3.4 Bottle, 6.7%. Grapefruity and dusty aroma. Cloudy golden colour, sparkling. Big stable rocky white head. The flavour has a nice enough citric hop note as well as a hint of cream. Good clean bitterness. Very high carbonation.
Pours hazy golden with a frothy fluffy off white head that leaves lots of thick trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty, fruity and slightly floral with bread, oatmeal, cereal, pears, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty, fruity and slightly floral. Mouthfeel is soft, round, tiny astringent and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with white bread, oatmeal, butterscotch, pears, hay, dry soil and lemon peal. Way to estery for what I like in a pils.
2.9 Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg. Slightly hazy golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Malty bready aroma, caramel, grassy, citrus, hay, some floral notes. Hoppy grassy flavor, mint, bready, hay. A bit odd.
3.2 From 0,33l bottle, BBD: 28.02.16 Pours cloudy golden liquid, minimal soapy white head, Aroma: hopy, grapefruit, orange, citrus, malty, Taste: medium sweet, heavy bitter, light sour, fruity, grapefruit, orange, lemon grass, malty, hopy, sweet, light diacetyl, Palate: medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel, long citrus bitter aftertaste, Overall: fine, enjoyed, drinkable. Bit disharmonic.
3.2 Backlog rating. 33cl bottle from Grand Cru, Rimini. Clear golden with medium ehite head. Aroma is grainy and lightly boozy sweet with starch, grass and bread. Taste is also medium sweet and lightly bitter grainy and boozy. Light to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, not my favourite style for sure
3.2 On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Golden orange and clear appearance with a diminishing white head. Aroma of spicy hops and toasted grains with floral, earthy and herbal notes. Similar flavor, crisp moderate bitterness with light malt sweetness. Average body with a dry finish. A decent pils overall.
3.2 clear golden liquis with frothy white head. Aroma of hay and caramel. Tastes same. medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour. Palate: medium body, creamy, average carbonation, long bitter finish,
3.1 floral, resin, pale, golden, clear, minimal head, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, bitter, average carbonation, well balanced very drinkable
3.2 Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks troubles. Hazy golden. Aroma of grassy hops and some malt. Flavor has sweetish malt, some graininess, bitterish grassy hops, and an alcoholic note. Light to medium-bodied, well-carbonated. Decent.
3.2 Aroma of zest, dairy and biscuit. I’m picking up also alcohol and raisin. The flavor is zesty and bread. The bitterness is a bit too harsh and lasting. Bitterness reminds me strong grapefruit peel with not that tasty alcohol and raisin. Not bad but after couple of sips I’m getting a bit tired.
2.5 Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Hazy golden with a thin bubbly head and a small carbonation. An ale with lager malt, it has a fairly appealing smoothness to its texture. Not high on flavours but its strength is not overbearing.
1.9 0.33L bottle. Sour, wheat, cereal aroma. Hazy golden-yellow color with massive white hat on top, disappears very quickly. Musty, moist celler, banana flavours. Over carbonated. Stale aftertaste. Light alcohol taste on the finish. Quite shit.
Medelbeska.
2.9 Hazy yellow with big white fluffy lacing. Light malty aroma, notes of hops. Dry and bittersweet flavour, malt and lurking alcohol.
2.1 bottled, at the pivo plzen bar. pale golden, clear with a very shortlived head, looked quite limp surrounded on the table by some fine pilsners; overdone caramel in the aroma, light grassiness and wet metal; modest bitterness, somewhat sweet and sticky pretty unczech
3.1 Bottle at porgu, tallinn. Deep golden color, white head. Aroma is czech hops, malts, some sweet notes. Malty base, dry and crispy hops, sweet notes and medium body.
3.1 Bottle. Not ordinarily a style I gravitate towards. I must confess I was drawn in entirely by the pun on the label. Pours hazy Orange with a White head. Aroma is malty and like a turbo lager. Flavour is clean enough but really, this didn’t do it for me. I’d be looking for more hop character for a bottle like this. It’s not like I’m brown-bagging.
2.2 Bottle. Aroma is spicy hops, bit of citrus. Taste metallic, diacetyl. Terrible
3.4 (bottle 27/04-2015) low white head, unclear orange color, slightly hoppy aroma, smooth hoppy taste, fresh co2. BB date 30.07.15.
3.3 Fľaša. Bledšia zlatá farba, biela pena. Vôňa sladová, jemne ovocné tóny. V chuti sladové telo, jemne trpkosť, trávnatá a horká dochuť.
3.5 Golden colour with a light haze. Light hop in aroma and flavour. Also a sweet maltiness. Light carbonation. Perfect session beer. Good example of the Czech style.
3.2 Draught at Taphouse. Clear yellow with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma medium+ malty (caramel). Flavor medium sweet and bitter. Medium+ body.
3.0 From tap at Taphouse, Copenhagen. Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of malt, hops, fruit and alcohol.
