Brewfist Fear Milk Chocolate Stout

Milk Chocolate Stout

Malti: Pale, Crystal, Chocolate, Pale Chocolate, Wheat, Oat, Monaco, Vienna

Luppoli: Magnum

3.9 Dark brown in colour with shades of hazelnut. Fluffy coffee colour head. At the nose is soft, pleasant roasty notes are mixed with milk chocolate aromas. In mouth is medium-high bodied, smooth and rich but at same time drinkable, doesn’t tire your palate, thanks also at a light a slippery after taste. Recommended
2.9 Quite a mediocre stout, pleasant but nothing special. Has a light smooth palate and quite a bitter taste. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
2.9 Clear, brown, there are some small particles (hop?), almost no head. Aroma: coffee beans, cocoa, bread. Dry coffee taste, but there’s cloying sweet from lactose. Low bitterness, but finish is quite hoppy. Overall tiring.
3.2 Tap@Taphouse. Pours a very dark brown with small offwhite head. Aroma is sweet and roasted, slight coffee and a hint of lactose. Taste is a round sweet blend of light chocolate, roasted malt and a hint of lactose. A bit thin and less lactose for the style.
4.0 330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours cola black with a thin ring of tan head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate. Taste is lightly sweet, milky with cocoa, coffee roast and roasted malts on the finish. Delicious.
3.1 aroma: sweet, roast malts, chocolate appearance: almost black with beige creamy head taste: sweet chocolate, a bit of coffee hints palate: quite full with nice creamy texture, low carbonation, low bitternes tasty.
3.0 Drank 27-1-16 in Malden with Marieke (working on my new year?s resolutions ;)). Taste is a bit disappointing. Slightly milk chocolate, but quite neutral and watery as well.Edit: a bit higher after drinking with Rik 02-07.
3.2 Butelka, warka do 30.08.16. W ustach ciekawie, bo najpierw slodkie a pozniej slodkosc ustepuje miejsca goryczce dosc wytrawnej (wlacznie z posmakami, kawowo palonymi). Aromaty wspomniane tez i w ustach sa odczuwalne. Nisko wysycone. niewiele ciala. W caloksztalcie - bardzo przyzwoity, lekki dosc, mily w odbiorze Ocena potraktowana skryptem do przeliczania ocen (uzgodnienie UT/RB).
3.3 Errrg veel koolzuur, en enorme schuimkraag. Melkchocolade. Schuimt m’n bek uit! Backlog from 2015/02/13.
2.8 bottle. Black with medium beige head. Light aroma of chocolate, sweet roasty malts flavour, metal notes. A bit watery
3.1 Pours deep brown with no head. Nose is milky. Aromas are roasted malts, slightly coffee, dark chocolate. Low carbonation, light body. Medium roasty finish. A bit light, but easy drinkable.
3.6 Tasted from the tap on the 24/10/2015. Pours black with a nice beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts and some milk. Taste is sweet with intense chocolate and some point of bitterness. Aftertaste is dry. Next one please!
3.3 Bottle. Pours black with a decent beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Flavor was quite sweet & moderately bitter with dark chocolate, roasted coffee and a bit of caramel.
4.0 A impressive Milk Stout with a full aroma of coffee, milk chocolate and wheat.
3.7 Nice roasted malt aroma. Taste is roasted malts, dark chocolate, and chestnuts.
3.2 Lightly chocolate and not as sweet as I "feared." Well-made just not terribly interesting in any way. Somewhat lighter than expected as well.
3.4 Aroma: coffee, burnt, bean. Appearance: black, clear, rocky head, tan diminishing foam. Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, short bitter aftertaste.
3.3 Black liquid with tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malts. smoky malts taste, medium sweet, medium bitter, light sour. Palate: medium body, creamy feel, average carbonisation, long bitter finish.
3.0 Colore scuro.
3.6 Aroma is dark/roasted malts, cherries/raspberries and slightly perfumed funk. The flavor is dark malts, chocolate, berries/raspberries and a relatively smooth/slightly tart/acidic finish.
3.4 Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, milk. Taste is light sweet, slightly bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture, averaga to lively carbonation.
3.4 Aroma: robusta with milk, milk chocolate. Taste: not so sweet as aroma, with light bitterness. Flavour: desert milk chokolate, burned coffee. Some rotten fuits in the aftertaste. Simple and pleasant, good balanced and not too sweet.
3.0 Bottle. Very dark pour that looked a bit thin going into the glass. Highly carbonated head. Mild roast and lactose smell and taste. Very carbonated on the tongue.
2.6 The aroma is surprisingly grapefruit and I am thinking that it is probably a loser among milk stouts. Further down in the aroma you will find dark chocolate and licorice. The taste varies over coffee, dark bitter chocolate, english licorice and a tart flavor of blackcurrant. Carbonation is soft. In the aftertaste is chocolate and licorice however room for a little more expression, but in my opinion, a stout likely low or almost absent carbonation, so the heavy malt notes can lay thick and rich in the mouth. The hops are comfortable dosed and contributes to long finish. Slightly disappointing milk stout, but it is still just passed.
3.6 Bottle; pours dark brown with a beige head; aroma chocolate and coffee with hints of roasted malt; more sweet than bitter taste of chocolate and coffee; finish is very light bitter finish; good milk stout
3.3 Fľaša. Čierna farba, hnedá pena. Vôňa sladká, kakaová, pražené slady. V chuti čokoládová sladkosť, jemne pražené slady, horúce kakao. Celkom príjemné, nie príliš sladké.
3.2 Klar colafarget med lavt skum. Lukt av sjokolade og lett kaffe. Samme i smaken. Litt utvannet munnfølelse, men veldig myk og kremaktig.
