Di color nero impenetrabile con un cappello discreto di schiuma, color nocciola dalla buona tenuta. Al naso note tostate, di caff� e pane nero, fave di cacao. In bocca entra subito con un buon sentore di cioccolato fondente, prugna disidratata e sul finale un bell'amaro di caff� deciso. Il corpo � vellutato, con carbonazione molto bassa. Il residuo zuccherino ne sporca un po' la facilit� di bevuta ma � un'imperial dove l'alcol � ben nascosto.

Data ważności: do grudnia 2015. Piwo świetnie się zestarzało. Bogaty aromat ciemnego chleba, pumpernikla, kandyzowanych i suszonych owoców. W smaku sporo kawy, czekolady, znowu suszonych owoców. Pełne i oleiste.
(Bottle) Black colour with big, frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, dark rye bread, coffee, tobacco, dried fruit (prunes, date) and liquorice. Malty, roasted, slightly fruity taste with dark chocolate, coffee, rye bread, prunes, dates, liquorice, tobacco and a generous roasty bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty porter, fairly complex but still in excellent balance. Very nice.
Black with a colossal, thick, creamy, tan head. Aroma is malt, coffee, and a salad for some reason. Taste is nice and toasted with coffee, caramel, port wine, and whiskey. Smooth.
Draft - Nice dark roast. Jet black with a nice light brown head. Sweet dark roast, nice mouth feel and a long dark roasty finish. Bitter sweet and pleasant.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a dark brown to pitch black with a medium tan head and an aroma of chocolate, licorice, coffee, roasted malts, cherries and cloves. The taste is heavy sweet with a roasty bitterness in the finish. Nice!
Brown weak head. Black colour. aroma is malty, roasty with coffee and peanuts notes. Flavor is moderately malty with fruity (prunes and dried fruits) slightly roasty, ending in a roasty and slightly fruity finish. Medium bodied.
33cl bottle at home. Very dark brown with a medium beige head. Medium body with low to moderate carbonation. Quite bitter with subtle sweet tones. Roasted malts, brown sugar, coffee and chocolate. Nice.

Color negro, opaco, con capa de espuma marrón estilo café de dos dedos de grosor (buena retención). Carbonatación imperceptible y nada presente en boca. Aroma a café, algo de alcohol, y algo sumamente dulce (caramelo o azúcar quemado o sabe dios, pero muy interesante). El sabor es típico de Porter, con notas de café, de malta tostada, algo de licor... Lo más interesante es que en el final predomina el amargor y no el licor. Primera vez que estoy de acuerdo al ver los IBUs de una Porter (Imperial, en este caso). Interesante y, seguramente, buena, aunque no es mi estilo de cerveza y dudo que vaya a serlo algún día.

Zapach: słodki, sporo ciemnych, suszonych owoców, w tle trochę ciemnych słodów, czekolady, kakao.
Smak: średnia pełnia, trochę puste, wodniste, wyraźniejsze nuty ciemnych słodów, czekolady, kakao, trochę ciemnych owoców, średnia goryczka, lekko palona.
Wysycenie: średnie.
Neus niet erg uitgesproken. Smaak complex: chocolade, kersen, drop, mout, laurier. Mooi bier voor een winteravond.
Draught. Deep brown liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of red berries, chocolate, booze, grain and licorice. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, booze and grain. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Meh. Decent but boozy. Not very elegant.

Vanilla and molasses nose, raisin and tobacco accents. Mahogany, thin tan head. Prune, cola, and chocolate, coffee at midpalate. Raisin finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Tasty.

Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a jet black with a thin but stick khaki colored head. Heavy aroma with some strong black earth accents, a hint of unsweetened dark chocolate. Flavor is bold, nice licorice accents, some hints of espresso, back end of unsweetened bitter dark chocolate. NIce thick viscous mouthfeel.

Uit de fles geschonken. Mooi zwart bier. Aroma van gebrande mout, hop, caramel, stroop. Dit komt ook in de smaak terug, deze is mooi vol met een aarde toon. Mooie imp porter met een heerlijke lange nasmaak.
Almost totally black with a fine sheet of foam that disappeared very quickly. Aroma is sweet and intense. Treacle, some bitterness, toffee. Complex, very sweet - interesting. Flavour is very intense, treacle and caramel, very sweet some earthy notes, very nice finish, which is bitter and burnt sugar/caramel. Very nice!
W aromacie lekka czekolada, wyższe alkohole, nieco estrowych owoców. W smaku bardzo "cienkie", brakuje ciała, mimo wyleżakowania wyraźny alkohol, estry idące w ciemne owoce, nieco likierowej czekolady. Żadne jest to piwo.

Poor beige head. Poor aroma from glass, from bottle chocolate, roasty, coffee, vanilla. Taste is much better than aroma. Full of chocolate, roast, caramel. Rather dry, with medium leveled bitterness. Full bodied and oily texture. Alcohol very well hidden. Good beer.
