A secret weapon of Drinks Union, a beer of delicious taste, clear smell and typical colour. The drinker will be surprised by its pleasant taste, less sweet than with other dark beers. The dark Breznak won the most prestigious beer contest - Golden Cup PIVEX ´98.

3.5Tasty for such a low abv beer. Medium roast, crisp and clean. Nice beer. Netto dresden
3.5Fles 50cl thuis als Březňák Schwarzbier. Drop, haast rokerig, lange nadronk, volle smaak. (3-2015).
2.9Fles gedeeld met Roelzie en Koenzie. Het is een zwart bier met weinig schuim. Het heeft een geroosterd aroma. De smaak is moutig, gebrand en caramel, beetje waterig.
3.4Black beer with beautiful ruby highlights and a weak white head.
Smell is toffee caramel marmite with slight sour and ash. Earthy bitterness. Apples.
Taste is watery with bitter ash highlights. Crisp and burnt, lightly astringent bitter finish, hint of smoke. Interesting beer, very original balance.
2.950 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Trinkgut Kleve as 'Březňák Schwarzbier'.
Clear dark brown with an off-white head. Faint roasted malts aroma. Taste is sweet with a hint of ashtray. Nice solid dunkel/schwarzbier
3.1Sampled from 0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld) as 'Březňák Schwarzbier', 3.8% abv, best before July 2018. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of cocoa, coffee and some hazelnut. Moderately sweet, malty, quite roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and a touch of hazelnut, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
3.2Tried it from an imported bottle labelled Schwarzbier. Pours very dark brown (we say Black), not to sweet, malty with a tender hint of bitterness.
2.7[50cl bottle, Breznak Schwarzbier]
Pours dark, almost black body with a beige head.
Aroma is malty, roasty and smokey.
Taste is decently roasty as well, not too sweet. Bitterness from the burnt malts.
A decent schwarz.
2.30,5l Flasche Breznak Schwarzbier. Dunkelbraunes fast schwarzes Bier, beiger Schaum. Röstmalz und Kaffeduft. Antrunk röstig bitter. Kaffe, Schokolade. Dazu etwas Süsse.
3.0Bottle, 50cL. "Breznak Schwarzbier". Bought in a german supermarket. A black beer with a medium off-white foamy head ; good retention. Roast, prune, caramel, herbal notes, light chocolate. Light sweet, light dry bitter refreshing. Light body, light oily creamy texture, average good carbonation, dry fruity refreshing finish. Overall, correct.
2.1Pite jako "Breznak Schwarzbier" . W aromacie ciemne słody. W smaku wodniste, i nic poza tym.
3.00.5l bottle from rewe in weil, as "breznak schwarzbier". pours a very dark mahogany, almost black, with a big beige head. aroma of malts, smoke, prunes, bacon. flavour of nuts, grass, chocolate malts, rye bread. light body, but not too watery.
3.250cl bottle from supermarket. Dark red to black color. Head is persistent and brown. Body is medium and dry. Aroma and flavour is chocolate, roasted, coffee. Not bad.
3.7No detail information about the malts, hops and drinktemperature on the label.
Black beer with a cream-colored head, bread, good drinkable, not heavy, malts are dominated, good balance between sweet and bitter, short finish,
(I have 0.5l bottle with best-before 28.05.2017 and batch L6244203AI223)
2.6Aroma: Hay and sweet fruits and malt.
Flavour: Roasted malt with fruity sweetness and a slight fruity sour and bitter finish. Mouthfeel is very watery.
Colour: very dark reddish brown with a lasting offwhite head.
From: bottle @ Fleeggard Flensborg as Breznak Schwarzbier Sept. 2016.
1.6- braun-schwarze Farbe mit mit guter Schaumbildung
- leichte Röstaromen verbunden mit einer leichten Karamell- bzw.
Kaffeenote
- die Carbonisierung ist für meinen Geschmack zu hoch ausgefallen
- geschmacklich bzw. vom Körper her bleibt das ganze dann doch sehr
dünn und wässrig
- im Abgang kommt noch eine leichte Hopfennote hinzu
Fazit: Dünn und ziemlich körperlos
3.2Beige top, black rubyish clear body. Aroma has grass, plum, prune, leaves, maltsyrup. Tastes bread, malts, prunes, grass - leading to a plummy finish with hop notes. Dryish on palate. Overall okay. [50cl.btl "Breznak Schwarzbier" (D) abv3.8% BB.09.02.2017, T@friends in DK]
3.4Thanks to ErlangerNick prost my friend, dark cola colour lasting tan head. Some nuttiness. Its like drinking a dark mild. Pretty decent. Light chocolate malt. Nuts. Some dryness. Good.

medium creamy tan head. Clear deep amner pour. Not bad
2.6Bottle 500 ml. Aroma: caramel and kvass, rye bread crust. Taste: velvety and slightly burnt, caramel.
3.0Klares dunkelbraun mit relativ viel Schaum. Röstmalzig, reichlich Karamell, Vanille, würzig, sehr süffig, leider etwas zu dünn.
3.2Tschechien
Macht seinem Namen alle Ehre: tiefschwarz
Schöner feiner Schaum aber noch nicht cremig
Sehr malzig mit einem Hauch Brot
Gut ausgewogener Hopfen mit langem Nachklang
3.0Bottle. Very dark brown with a great beige head. Mild aroma of roasted malts, metal, chocolate and only hints of coffee. Taste follows aroma. Medium carbonation. Thin mouthfeel. I appreciate and rate it for what it is: An easy drinking low budget low abv beer that still packs some of that lovely chocolate flavor. Some days this is all I want.
4.7?wietne piwko polecam aromat super piana ok ogólnie ?wietne cho? slabe Polecam !!!
3.2Bottle from Trinkgut in Kleve. The beer is dark to black colored and has a stable and large cream colored head.
The aroma is sweetness of caramel and roasted malts, and some bitter notes from coffee and chocolate.
The taste is light bodied, little watery with some caramel sweetness to change into a dryness with notes of cacao and coffee.
The finish is dry and light bitter.
2.8Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Bamberg during the Bamberg Jolly. Pours clear brown with a foamy tan head. Very simple, with light toast, lots of paper, faint cocoa. Light bodied with average carbonation. Creamy texture. Bland bready character in the finish. Meh, just very basic overall.
1.0Enjoying a very dark reddish brown beer tangential to almost black. It has a nice, albeit short, light brown foam. Aroma is greatly influenced by hard roasted malt, and almost no other flavorings to track. However suggests to some hop. It taste much of malt.
