3.4Good all round and consistant APA. Loads of biscuit malt and aromatic hops. Quite dry and a little watery but good balance of fruit and pine fills the mouth and nose with flavour. Decent

3.7Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange. Fresh aroma of pine, muted tropical fruit. Nice carbonation. Taste is as expected for Citra and Amarillo, fruity but not overpowering although quite sweet, balanced background malt, some bitterness to finish. Very easy drinking. Might be my perfect session APA this.

Aroma of orange, grapefruit, some lemon, slight pine, a little peach, a hint of biscuity malts and subtle grassy, floral hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, some lemon, slight peach, a little pine, a hint of biscuity malts, maybe caramel and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, fruity, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A really nice, hoppy APA with a good amount of fruit and slight sweetness. Really drinkable, nice.
3.7Bouteille 50cl, de et partagée avec Pierre et Thomas. BB 31.05.2017. Batch # 1829.
3.0Draught at Waterloo Tap, London. Slightly hazy golden beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Fruity hay aroma, grass, grapes, some grapefruit, tiny sourish. Fruity grassy flavor, citrus, hay, floral notes. Kinda thin.

3.5Bottle from the Co-op in Williton. Pours a copper colour with a good foaming head. Great malt flavour and attractive flavours of tropical fruit and grapefruit. Hints of pine in the finish. Very pleasant aroma and good aftertaste. Definitely worth trying again.
I did try it again. It is still very good!

3.7Bottle at home. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. The first whiff shows that this is one hoppy beer - pine resin galore with an earthiness that reminds me of a patch of nettles on a hot day. The sip has a little sweetness, immediately followed with a massive bitterness. There is a juicy maltiness in the background, but the overwhelming taste is of nettle, wood and resin. As you would guess, a raspingly dry finish. I found it slightly unbalanced, but I suspect the hopheads put there would like this.
3.2Fra fat på Piccadilly Tap 15 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Aprikosfarget. Lavt tett stabilt skum. Kompakt teppelacing. God fruktaroma. Mest fersken. Smaken grapefrukt. Bra - men lite variasjon.
3.7Bottle. Bronze/orange, off white frothy head with heavy lacing. Aromas of grapefruit with strong caramel backbone. Immediate grapefruit bitterness, mid palate pine and an earthy, biscuity finish. Good balancing malt background tames a hop forward beer. Slightly over carbonated
3.6Large head misty amber pour medium carbonation aromas pine caramel stone fruits mint note the flavours resin sweetness malt biscuit caramel grapefruit medium bitter stone fruit note of herbs medium bitter lemon best notes at the finish pine sweetness bitter taste resin very well made APA
3.5Origin: Tap. Vessel: Tankard. Supplier: Bootlegger (Bristol). Sweet and fruity with hints of hops.
3.6Hazy gold with a thin white head. Pineapple, passionfruit, citrus aromas. Similar taste, good malt backbone and a little pine bitter finish
3.8grapefruit aromas from an amber gold body with no head, smooth grapefruit flavour with a sweet finish
3.8At just on cool and into a snifter. Brilliant, orange amber on first pour. Hazed on second. Head is a plume of soapy, white suds Piney, resinous, spicy and herbaceous, whole hop nose inches stinging nettles, vine clippings, camphor, sap resin, lemon balm and pandan. Full on aroma for a modest strength ale. Quite piney and dry with a backbone of dusty malts and dried herbs on the palate. Creamy and foamy in feel with a moderate to light body. Camphorous and lasting, peaking bitterness rolls in every sip. Overall hogely resinous with a plump, hoppy aftertaste. Low esters, low fruit restrained to grapefruit notes and little else. Madly sessionable stuff. (50cL, BB 29/09/15, Luckies Liquor)
