3.2 Keg at BRLO taproom, Berlin, 11/07/19. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is airy malts, citric peel, grass, toasted grains. Taste comprises tangerine, citric tinged straw, grass, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with moderate hop bitterness. Passable offering ... rather restrained.

3.8 Slight blonde steamy view. Overall a bit dry mainly fruit in the body, maracuja and other tropicals, matured tree fruits, medium to light body. Carb is ok and not too tart. Overall a good mix of these many ingredients. Def a summer ale for a walk through the park at 30 degrees outside or a hot summer eve on the balc.

3.7 330ml Bottle from REWE Supermarket, Saarburg, Germany. Hazy straw coloured with a thick white head of foam. It has an orange and sweet tropical fruit flavour with a smooth lime and orange spicy finish. Very good.

3.6 Clear golden pour with white head, that retains very well. Aroma is not strong, not very hoppy, more malty and biscuity actually. Taste is very nice, hoppy, firm bitter, with a long aftertaste. Nice brew, though I hoped for more hop aroma.

Piana srednia. srednio trwala, barwa jasna klarowna, niemal zlota. pachnie delikatnie amerykanskimi chmielami, delikatne lekko chmielne, bardzo umiarkowanie slodowe. dobre choc malo wyraziste. ale fajne ze zielone szyszki byly obecne w aromacie, smaku i posmaku. za delikatnie jednak i malo odwaznie.

2.9 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a smallish, white head. Perfumy hops and som underlying crystal malts - very old school. Medium body, again caramel and toffee, biscuity with a bitter finish. Very true to a 15 year old interpretation of the style. 010920

3.4 Piana nawet trwała, drobne i średnie pęcherze, szyła na szkle, lekko jak kożuch, nawet spory czas wytrwała. Kolor ciemno bursztynowy, lekko zamglony. Aromat cytrusów, brzoskwinie, mirabelki, słód, landrynki, lekko popiół. Smak ciekawa goryczka, z landrynkowym (słodkim) posmakiem, na dystansie lekka przewaga słodu, poza tym spoko.

4.6 Fruity almost cider-light beer, with typical but modest pale ale bitterness. The 6% alcohol disappear in the strong apple-like fruity flavours. Its aftertaste is surprisingly mild for a pale ale and its carbonation is just a tand bit too strong to be perfectly balanced (as all things should be) but not bothering. The malt is strongly present but well balanced with the overall composition. Colour: Wheat in sunlight, Amber. Foam: Little but strong. Bought at Kaufland Germany.

3.3 Bottle. Completely cloudy dark amber pour with dense offwhite head. Aroma has tropical fruits. Taste quite bitter. Ends with subtle bitter notes. Medium heavy body. Medium carbonation

2.9 Chinée à Casino Supermarché de Villedieu-les-Poêles Bouteille 33cl (DLC: 08/02/2020) Au nez c'est un bon parfum fruité de fruit de la passion et de pamplemousse. Robe orange légèrement trouble avec une mousse avec une tenue disparate et une carbonatation moyenne. En bouche c'est banal pour son style, on a le droit à des saveurs de pin et de pamplemousse qui s'équilibrent un peu. On ressens un goût de houblon couplé à du houblon qui nous offre une expérience un tantinet anglaise lors de la dégustation.

3.2 A la dégustation, j'ai été surpris de découvrir une amertume vive, même agressive pour un IBU de seulement 35 et alors que le nez était plutôt inexpressif, peu intense sur la clémentine sûre, l'orange, le caramel accompagnés d'un soupçon de pomme. Avoir une amertume vive n'est cependant pas un mal en soit, si ce n'est qu'il est préférable d'avoir un accompagnement aromatique. Et sur ce point, c'est compliqué pour cette BRLO. A se demander pourquoi ils ont mis 5 houblons (!!) : Cascade, Centennial, Citra, Saphir, Willamette. Caramel, biscuit orange et clémentine agrémentent de façon très discrète l'amertume. Décevant donc. Le visuel sur un bel ambré limpide et surmonté d'une fine couche de mousse est tout de même sympathique. L'attaque nous présente tout de même une Pale Ame qui reste homogène avec une base douce sur le caramel et le biscuit accompagné de poivre (qui disparaîtra), l'orange et la clémentine. En seconde bouche, l'amertume se détache nettement et devient agressive sans qu'aucun accompagnement aromatique conséquent ne permette de compenser. L'alcool, à 6% est de plus quelque peu limite pour structurer l'ensemble. L’arrière-bouche, linéaire est sur une amertume toujours aussi tranchante. Bonne présence en bouche avec une amertume qui perdure longtemps, même si le final en tant que tel est court et doux sur le caramel, biscuit et orange. Particulier…

3.1 Bottle from Beerwulf. Aroma is jammy with malt, some floral hoppy notes, berries, bit herbal, orange, light caramel and resin. Flavour is sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Floral, jammy and sweetish. Okay.

3.7 Tap at the brewpub, bright orange color, hazed, white head. Flavor of pale malts, caramel malts, grass, hops resin, light citrus, orange. Taste malty, fruity, juicy, light salty. Medium body, average carbonation. Finish dry, fruity, hoppy.

3.2 Pale golden hazy beer with a frothy head. The taste is nice and fruity with peach an orange but does not last very long. Gives a slightly unpleasant afterkick of hop bitterness but also that is gone quickly.

3.3 33 cl bottle at PeterPaul in Berlin. Hazy orange gold color. Large frothy white head with lacing. Malty notes in nose. Citrus hops and grain as well. Taste of stone fruits and orange. Medium bodied and good flavor overall. Tasted on 8/22/19.
