3.3 33 cl bought from supermarket. Pours clear dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of brown sugar, coffee, chocolate, some alcohol. Taste is also coffee, brown sugar, caramel, some fruity notes. Light body, medium carbonation, quite nice light bitter aftertaste. Overall a decent Belgian beer.
3.0 Sötétbarna szín, nem túl tartós, közepes, bézs hab. Kávés, karamelles, enyhén aszalt gyömölcsös illat. Kávés, karamelles, sötétgyümölcsös ízek. Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nem rossz, de nincs igazi összhang.
3.6 F: big, tan, quick diminishing. C: dark brown, opaque. A: malty, coffee, fruity, coffee ground, bit caramel, cocoa, chocolate, T: chocolate, caramel, fruity, coffee, cocoa, bit vinous, bit spicy, peppery, medium body and carbonation, very good coffee variation of BSA, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.
2.4 Brown color with a bit of tan foam. Aroma has some bright stonefruit notes, fermented fruits and brown sugar. Taste has some stale caramelised malt notes, dusty yeast, fruity notes on the finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Quite stale and generic.
3.3 33cl bottle. Clear dark brown with a medium off-white head. Coffee, toffee, caramel and spicy.
3.1 Botella. Clear dark brown, medium off-white head. Sweet aroma indeed with coffee and dark malts along with some spices. Ok mouthfeel. Sweet flavour, coffee caramel and dark malts, spice, some dark fruits, sweeeet, mild to medium bitterness.
3.2 Bottle 33 cl, pours a dark Brown colour with a beige head, aroma of coffee, Sweet taste, strong Coffee taste.
3.3 needs to be served very cold to taste every bit of it. I tasted it warm and it didn’t show all of the flavor. Palate is the first thing that surprises me. I thougth this would be a thicker beer but it’s a very thin, flat short texture/finish. I quite like the taste but it’s not the hardcorecoffeebeer I was looking for. It reminds me of a cold espresso you down in 2 sips while wondering why you didn’t order a real coffee. the appearance is really promising but the taste isn’t as awesome as I expected. It’s not that bad but I really had my hopes up for this one.
3.3 Aroma is dominated by cold coffee.Taste of mild burnt sugar, some slight herbal and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is big on the coffee, but quite mild on anything else, apart from a wee bit of spicy yeast in the finish. Cold cofee all over.
3.5 Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). Deep ambery brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, mild burnt sugar, some slight herbal and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is big on the coffee, but quite mild on anything else, apart from a wee bit of spicy yeast in the finish. One dimensional, but still quite tasty.
3.4 Many thanks for this beer to Eric De Geyter. Butelka 0,75cl. Jak espresso i podwojne to oczekuje mocno palonego kwaskowo gozkiego smaku, zreszta ja espresso pijam bez zadnych dodatkow, a tymbardziej cukru. Lekkie rozczarowanie. Piana i ladna lakierowana butelka w ogolnej ocenie ratuje calosc.
3.0 Muddy brown, no head. Aroma of instant coffee, green peas and soil. More instant coffee in the taste, moderate bitterness, watery.
3.4 Bottle 330 ml, Bucharest at Bistro GUXT. Hazy brown, some red tinge, tan head. Aroma is coffee, caramel, some chocolate. Also bitter and pine resin hints, roasted, acid and fruity hints aswell. Taste is coffee, caramel, some bitterness, some minerality, acidic, chocolate and fruity notes. A pretty decent beer, pretty well balanced and interesting... maybe a little flat.
3.3 Bottle. Dark brown, beige head. Aroma: coffee, mint, caramel, sweet bread. Taste is sweet, bread, coffee, caramel. High carbonation, and watery texture. A bit too much carbonation for me.
3.0 Bottle @ the guild... Pours a small offwhite head... Opage dark brown colour... Smell fresh sweet soup tea... Taste soupy sweet...
3.2 BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy red-brown, tan head. Coffee flavoured candies, cold sweetened coffee, followed by light green coffee beans acidity and a hint of hops. Kinda flat, but decent.
3.7 Well, that is interesting. The coffee taste is really present so it really tastes like a fizzy coffee with some beer aftertaste. Not bad, not something that I would search for but interesting.
3.9 Drank with Liedewij in Leuven 24-8-16. Nice beer, fine coffee taste. Some softness, rich taste, good.
3.5 Flesje thuis gedronken (tht 3 juli 2016) bruin bier, tijdens het inschenken behoorlijk schuimend maar dit trekt snel weg. Aroma is alsof je een pak koffie open maakt. Smaak van koffie is overheersend. Zoete afdronk. Koffie smaak blijft even hangen. Toch een goede combinatie.
2.7 Drunk from 33cl bottle bought from Carrefour. Dark brown beer with hint of coffee.
3.4 33cl bottle. Pours dark brown with a thick white head. Belgian yeast, chocolate and some coffee. Toffee sweetness. High carbonation. Toffee, caramel and chocolate in flavor. Somewhat complex brew, but the carbonation making it tough to drink.
3.5 Dark brown color with yellowish head. Aroma of roasted malt, a little chocolate. Taste of sweet malt, dark fruit and licorice.
3.6 Bottle. Teku. Deep brown/reddish with big, semi-densed, lighlty brown head. Perfect lacing and head retention. Strong malty backbone aroma, medium belgian yests, after few whiles in the glass you can feel nice coffee aromas. Slightly boozy character in the backgroung. Neither coffee acidicy nor bitterness. Great. In overall it’s more like the triple with coffee added than stout. Nice coffee flavours perfectly fits into this beer. Highly drinkable beer.
3.5 dark mahagony red, almost black liquid with yellowish head. aroma of caramel, hay, coffee. taste med sweet, light bitter, light sour, toffee. light body, light feel, average carb, long sweet finish.
3.7 Bottle from a friend. Brown color, beige head. Bittersweet taste with citrus, toffee, nuts, earthy notes, ripe fruits and malts. Bittersweet finish with citrus, earthy notes, toffee, ripe fruits and grass.
Weinig koolzuurprikkel. Best lekker, maar stout?

3.1 Bottle at Doerak, during Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft. *No comments* Backlog from 2015/06/28.
3.8 Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer very dark brown to black colored and pours a large and stable cream colored head. In the aroma subtle notes of coffee. It even has some fruity hints of apples and pears. After a while some chocolate is noticable. The taste is full and rich which clear coffee and cacao notes. In the background a rich and soft fruitiness which makes this beer well balanced. The finish is pleasant with a decent bitter espresso and licorice tones, that you continue to enjoy.
3.7 Lekkere dubbel, maar weinig espresso smaak. Ook geen koffiegeur en zelfs Suus proeft het er niet in
