Brooklyn Naranjito

Brooklyn Naranjito

From the city’s fine restaurants to the beloved tamale lady outside our Brooklyn brewhouse every morning, Mexican food is a staple of life in New York City. Brooklyn Naranjito was brewed with some of our favorite dishes in mind. We put the pop of citrus that graces some of our favorites into a beer with a helping of sweet orange peel in the brew kettle. The vivacious fruit lends a burst of juiciness, a fresh, ticklish aroma and a decidedly refreshing finish to this American pale ale. It’s amazing what a little orange (naranjito) can do.

4.0 Fresca leve, uma boa cerveja para o Verão com o sabor de uma verdadeira pale ale
2.4 Fresh and easy to drink. Nothing out of the ordinary. Not much orange.
3.0 bottle from meny. clear yellow, smooth white head. mild aroma of malts and oranges. flavor is slightly flowery, nicely hoppy bitter, a bit watery, notes of orange peel. quite bitter for a 4.5 beer, might be best slightly chilled. bitterness is close to mouldy orange peel.
3.2 Bottled 355ml. -from Carrefour Chamonix. Pale golden coloured, small white head, mild orangey nose. Sweetish malty, light grassy, mild fruity and discreet citrusy with bitter finish and rather strong carbonation.
3.3 Couleur dorée, légère mousse. Nez houblonné sur les agrumes. Gout sur les agrumes et grains, un peu acidulé, puis herbeux et malté. Bonne amertume, un peu zeste, en fin de bouche
3.4 Fina apelsiner
3.5 I remember this having orange peel bits in it? However now it's clear? Maybe I'm remembering wrong. Smells fleshy orange, very light malts and hops, a bit bitter aftertaste. Easy drinking. Good with food
2.6 In both smell and taste, it's like orange juice with alcohol and yeast, with a fair amount of carbonation. Feels heavier than it should at just 4.5% ABV. I wonder about the sugar content. Not crazy about it.
3.5 Strong orange, no head, quite flat & bitter
2.8 Pale clear gold, full white head that swiftly shrinks. Aroma - citrus, orange, malt, sweetness. Hoppy, yeasty flavour, with a strong orange note, then a lingering citrus aftertaste, and continuing sweetness. Apart from the orange flavouring, undistinguished, a bit watery, murky flavour, disappointing. Boring can design.
3.1 355 cl. bottle at home. Low fluffy lasting white head. Clear yellow golden body. Mild and relatively sweet straw aroma. Surprisingly dry and yet sweet straw flavor with a touch of oranges. Fair amount of hops bitterness high carbonation and a long finish.
3.3 Can from the Co-opy. Looks nice and bright with an clear orange gold colour and a thin white head on top. It's got that orange pale ale mix of fresh zesty orange and barley sugar. That translates through to the flavours. Plenty candied sweetness on the flavour with a pine and grassy bitterness. Medium light body with a refreshing, prickly level of carbonation. Nothing offensive but nothing exciting either.
3.5 Cytrusowe, rześkie, lekko goryczkowe, dość kwaskowe, słodu też całkiem sporo. Ogólnie orzeźwiające, proste, pijalne.
2.8 Bottle - yeasty light orange with little to no head. Ok orange aroma. Slight ting in mouth. Orange citrus tasting but with light finish.
3.4 An american, golden, light foggy Flavoured Pale Ale wit low head and with orange peel. Aroma is malt, yeast, hops, orange. Taste is bitter.
4.0 Nem og drikkelig øl med en fin balance af malt og humle. En humleøl for Mi
3.0 Bottle, 355ml. Golden head. Hoppy, orange peel IPA. Title pretty much says it all. Perhaps a bit of yeast, citrus and grains as well. Light medium body. Easy to drink, but easy forgetable as well. Whats to say?
3.0 Nice orange aroma. That's about it, though, the taste is very flat and lacks bitterness.
2.8 Bottle @ Home. Pours clear light golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, fruit, citrus, lime, orange. Flavor is lightly bitter, light malt, artificial citrus, lime, orange. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 040919
3.0 Golden yellow, small white head. Hoppy IPA smell. Hoppy, citrus notes, nothing too bold. Orangey aftertaste.
3.2 Taste: fermented grains, yeast, wheat, citrus, notes of orange peels. Same with the nose. Pale gold hue, mostly clear, with soft white head and delicate lace. Medium/light body.
2.4 Bottle. Golden with a white head. Orange and lemon notes in aroma. Light bready flavour with a light bitter finish. Simple and fresh - not something to savour though.
3.2 Can, 355ml from Morrison's in Tiverton, Devon. Gold with white head. This proved to be quite a light, slightly sweet beer, there is a hint of orange, some citrus. Sweet biscuit notes, simple malts. It's fine.
3.2 Clear golden with a small white head. Orange aroma with some yeast, caramel and lemon. Sour and tart with a bit of sweetness.
3.0 Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Zesty, fresh orange aroma. Medium body, a dry fruitiness again with some slightly tart orange zest. Ends dry but not overwhelmingly bitter. A nice, dry thirst quencher. 010819
3.3 Pours clear golden with an average white head. Aroma of orange, lemon, floral notes and orange zest. Sweet taste that ends up being more dry and quite bitter. Light to medium bodied, watery to oily texture and lively carbonated. An OK and crisp APA. 🌟🌟🌟
2.5 Bottle bought at Føtex Rødovre Centrum, Denmark. Well... pale and thin. The orange flavors were absent in my bottle by the way.
4.6 Stor smag af citrus, og faktisk også en del bitter. Er lettere syrlig og en god læskende øl kold til sommer.
3.2 nice had on tap at the ranch in san martinino italy zesty orange peel taste with a hint of bitterness
3.1 Gyldengul. Lavt tett skum. Klar. Aroma av appelsinskall. Smaken sitrusfrukt. Litt tørr avslutning. Frisk.
