Brooklyn Pilsner

Brooklyn Pilsner

Brooklyn Pilsner is a refreshing golden lager beer, brewed in the style favored by New York’s pre-Prohibition brewers. In the 1840’s, the pilsner style emerged from central Europe to become the world’s most popular style of beer. Like its ancesters, Brooklyn Pilsner is traditionally brewed from the finest European two-row barley malts. German-grown Perle and Hallertauer hops provide a crisp, snappy bitterness and fresh, floral aroma. We ferment Brooklyn Pilsner at cool temperatures and then give it a long, gentle maturation (lagering), which results in a beer of superior complexity and smoothness.

3.2 A light yellow beer, a head is quite small and white. Aroma has grain, maltyness, some grass. Taste has grain, light grass. Medium bodied. Simple.
3.3 APARÊNCIA amarelo dourado, translúcido. creme denso de média persistência. AROMA floral, grama. SABOR cítrico, frutado e herbal. SENSAÇÃO corpo medio e carbonatação moderada.
2.7 Puszka. Jasny,złoty kolor. Piana biała,średnia, opada powoli. W zapachu dużo kukurydzy i ziół oprócz słodu oczywiście. W smaku dość dużą ziołowa goryczka, kukurydza i lekki chmiel,w tle ziarno ,trawa. Nie jest zły ...
2.8 Pilsner taste, but too light. Meh
2.6 Słodowe, nieco kukurydziane. Jest jakaś tam pełnia, nie można zarzucić mu wodnistości. Delikatna goryczka, wysokie wysycenie.
5.0 Excellent Pilsner! Totally captures the flavors that bring the beverage to life. One of their better crafts.
3.2 Bottle at a JFK Airport Bar, New York. Clean Pilsener with an aroma of grain and straw. Some grassy noble hops. Light sweet, moderate bitterness. Medium body. Enjoyable.
3.0 Gelb, goldene Farbe, klar, wenig Schaum Aroma: Malz, ein wenig Honig, wenig Hopfen, Zitrus. Geschmack: Malzsüsse. Getreide, Schwer, malzig, Zitrone.
3.3 Butelka 355 ml, moja sztuka 5,1% ABV.
3.6 Can. Bready malt aroma with notes of grassy hops, honey and some spicy hops. Pours clear pale golden colored with one finger of off white head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with bready malt and some honey flavors. Finishes crisp, clean and refreshing with grassy and spicy hop flavors. Pretty nice pils.
3.0 Found out of bottle from a variety pack. Pours straw yellow with a light aroma. I'm not a huge fan of the style but I would drink this again on a hot day and is better than average for the style.
3.1 12 oz single can from Mile High Wine & Spirits (BB MAR 2019). Clear golden appearance with active carbonation and an everlasting white head. Aroma of toasted grain, bread, mild spicy hops and light earthiness. Similar flavor, adding mild bitterness and a light malty sweetness. Light body with ample carbonation, a crisp feel and a dry finish.
3.6 Poured from 12 oz bottle into pilsner glass. Pours a 1" white head that drops rapidly with very little lacing. Color light golden with moderate streaming carbonation. Aroma of floral and herbal hops and lightly toasted malt. Mouthfeel is light and crisp. Flavor is led by the hops and seems a little weak in balancing malt sweetness from start to finish. Overall it is very good but not outstanding.
3.2 12 ounce bottle at Winking Lizard Peninsula Ohio. Thin white head, some film on the glass. Golden and bubbly. Taste very grainy. Smooth and very drinkable. Above average for the style. Cheers!
3.4 12 oz bottle. Smells of grass yeast and malt. Pours a clear gold with a white head with small bubbles quickly gone. Sour hoppy citrus notes and a clean mouthfeel. Short astriongent finish. Nice beer but too much fruit to be a classic pilsner style.
3.8 A more flavourful pilsner than I'm used to. It's kinda like drinking a light Gose - hints of citrus and coriander. Will definitely be looking for this in the beer store.
0.6 excuse me, this is a Pilsner. I understand how it is supposed to taste. i have tasted quite a few. This one? Not good, IMHO. Too sharp. Too "crisp". Too much hops.
3.2 Bottle. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, malts and wheat. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, malts, wheat, hops and some grass. Decent.
3.1 Bottle - average size foamy head, medium gold color, good basic pils with balanced crackery malts and earthy hops, crisp finish
2.8 Aroma of crackers, pepper, and fresh bread. Nice yellow color with a frothy white head and bubbly carbonation. Rich sweetness up front. Caramel, bready flavors. Bitterness is balanced, and has a peppery earthy tone. Slightly watery mouth feel. Decent.
3.1 Pale gold with a white head. grassy, herbal aroma. Biscuit and malt flavors with moderate bitterness. Well done but nothing makes it really stand out.
3.3 Lots of bubbles, pillowy white head. Looks like a Pilsner. Slight spices notes. Not bad but not as crisp as I personally prefer a Pilsner.
3.1 12 ounce bottle. Straw gold color. Large frothy white head. Mild grain nose has a touch of floral hops. Crisp grainy malt upfront. Some sweet, bready malt in middle. Brief dry hop finish.
3.0 Keg @ some crappy place in JFK. Brilliant clear golden pour with a small white head. The nose is quite gentle indeed - soft to the point of nearly being neutral. Soft cereal. Honey nut Cheerios. Just a bit of bucolic hay and straw. Flavor is lightly sweet. Gentle grain. A bit of wax and light grass. Crisp and a touch creamy. Very strong carb. Nice mild mannered pils.
3.9 340ml bottle from the brewery (thanks dad). Pours a perfectly clear straw with a white head and good lacing. Aromas of cracker malt and earthy hops. Palate has a medium body and medium-high carbonation. Flavours of sweet malt upfront with earthy hops and an assertive bitterness with a dry finish. Malty and delicious,
3.5 Can at Ballbreaker Kungsholmen. Pours amber. Clean and quite classic, grass and some wheat.
1.9 Can. Dry and bitter. Paper, white pepper and stiff mouthfeel. Dry grapefruit.
3.2 Draft. Aroma of grass, hay, floral, bread. Light sweet taste. Light body, lively carbonation, medium-light bitter finish. Overall pretty good.
3.2 Pours clear gold with moderate white head. Smells of biscuits and floral. Taste is moderately bitter and sweet - refreshing but not powerful.
4.2 Sixer from Liquor Barn (Jefferson Commons); dated best by October 2016. Aroma: Moderate lemon sugar cookie with a balanced spicy/dry floral hop presence. Appearance: Yellow gold with streams of gentle carbonation holding up a foamy white head that settles into a sticky cap. Flavor: Lemon sugar cookie up front- maybe more like a sugar cookie dipped into a lemon tea; drier and more floral over spicy hops towards the finish, which has just a hint of bitterness. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. Overall: Superior in every respect. If this is lawnmower beer, then maybe I need to pursue a career in landscaping...
