Brooklyn Scorcher IPA

Brooklyn Scorcher IPA

Brooklyn Scorcher IPA is a surprisingly sessionable IPA. A floral, piney hop aroma strikes first, followed by a burst of mouthwatering bitterness, a hint of toasty malt and a clean, lively finish. It’s ludicrously tasty and, at reasonable 4.5 %, it’s a beer you can come back to again and again.

3.2 Bottle from Hopt. Modest hop aroma with a piney character, some citrussy fruits, grainy malt, mild orange. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a decent bitterness. Body is light. Nothing special but certainly chuggable.
2.9 Une légère mousse éphémère. Une robe dorée typique des IPA. Saveur houblonées correctes mais moins folles que celle d'une Punk IPA ou Lagunitas.

2.5 Miedohko kuivuus. Vaniljaa?
3.4 Robe or clair, limpide, mousse moyenne, assez tenace, belle carbo. Nez fruité avec une touche de miel. En bouche, forte amertume, avec un côté écorce de pamplemousse, un arôme floral, et une très très longue durée de l'amertume. Pas mal, mais très amère pour moi.
3.2 Dose. Helles gelbes Bier, hoher hellerSchaum. Gras, Blumen,Heu undHopfen. Antrunk nette Bitternoten. Geas, Kräuter , Hopfen. Passt.
2.3 Can from tesco. Pours clear golden colour, frothy head dissappears quickly . Thin watery taste ,no bitterness that you would expect from an IPA. Rather bland .
3.1 Clear yellow liquid, hardly any head. Fruity aroma of hops. Light body, little bit carbonation. Taste is bitter, a bit sweet.
3.0 35,5cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, citrus, pine. Taste is hops, citrus, grass, herbs, slightly malty. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.2 Bottle from the work canteen/bar last week (never thought i would pick up a new tick there) :) - poured golden yellow into the plastic cup with a white head. Sweet fruity with some notes of lemon, grapefruit, straw, some sweet malty backing, piney and grassy hoppy bitter finish. Now the best beer to have at work (although not really a hard task to achieve)
3.1 Bottle. Pours a clear light golden yellow with a quickly fading off white bubbly head. Aroma is of orange, citrus, grapefruit, floral. Taste is of citrus, grapefruit, caramel, floral, pine. Watery mouthfeel, medium carbonation.
2.6 Can sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Clear yellow with white head. The aroma has notes of pine, herbs, malt, flowers, some fruitiness, skunky. The flavor is mild sweet and mild bitter, skunky with notes of herbs, "green", old hops and pine. Light to medium-bodied.
2.3 At a tasting, small stable bubbly head, clear deepish yellow color, skunky light malty aroma, herbal bitterness, citrus and some paper in flavor with a metalic aftertaste. not good.
2.7 Can from Tesco I believe in Worthing. Wasn't really worth the transport back. Old hops not dealt with nicely. bad on the palate.
2.6 Bottle at a tasting. Clear golden with a big white head. Skunky, rubber, grains and herbs. Sweetish, grainy, floral, lager-ish, herbal green bitterness. Light-bodied.

3.3 Can. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of orange, pine, some grapefruit, slight caramel and subtle floral hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, pine, slight caramel, toasted malts and subtle floral hops. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, piney hop bitterness in the finish. A simple, US hopped session IPA. Pine, citrus and sweet malts.
3.1 Can from Tesco, Enniskillen [160418] A3, N6, T6, P3, O13 Golden, light haze, big white head Aroma - Soft floral hops, light sweet pale caramel malt Taste of pale caramel malt, soft bitter floral hops, simple flavours Palate - Soft carb, light medium body, light bitter. Finish - Soft bitter linger with light caramel Overall - Simple, easy going pale ale - slightly better than average, rather forgettable
3.5 Can from, I think, Tesco, although it might be Morrisons! Hazy golden colour, the white head dissipates very quickly. Nicely hoppy, but not as hoppy as I thought it'd be, nice tho, lasts long on the finish. Biscuit-like malty notes on the nose, less noticable on the palate. A nice beer, one I'd buy again if I could remember where I bought it!
2.9 The bitterness is very apparent, but never unpleasant. It's a tad sickly with the malt too, which gives a real caramel note. Finish is cleansing and quite refreshing. A good beer, but not a quite one.
2.4 355ml Can. Golden in colour. Clear for years. 1 finger white head dissipates to no head at all. Really disappointed by this one! Aroma has a light citrus, but also a dominant rotten vegetable/ turnip. Bitterness is strange. There is an astringent acidity present. For the low abv, it is really difficult to work this one out. There is something complex about it, but the complexity is all wrong! The best word to describe this beer would be 'rotting'. Leaves a stale taste in the mouth. Drinkable, but odd for the wrong reasons.
