3.1 33 cl bottle. Hoppy aroma, albeit a bit anonymous. The flavor comes with a lot of citrus bitterness, a hint of caramel and other "fruity" flavors. The flavor is surprisingly rich for a non-alcoholic beer. Good finish with a clearly defined bitterness. Not bad!
2.6 Klar brun farge med hvitt skum. Lukter karamell, sitrus. smaker ananas, karamell, malt. Helt ok.
3.4 Brooklyn Special Effects 0.5%. Golden amber, pine and tropical fruit aroma, light bodied, pale malt, citrus, tropical fruit. Pleasant AF hybrid amber/ lager from Brooklyn, NY 🇺🇸
3.2 12 ounce can from McFleshman’s, 2/20/22. Clear amber large frothy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of tea, caramel, green hops. Taste matches. Too sweet.
3.4 12oz CaN best by 05/2022 - Nose is caramel and lemon zest. Sip adds grass and some herb I associate with garlic bread (oregano? or dried parsley?). bready finish combining with light resin.
3.1 It pours an amber color with a small white head. It has the aroma of pine, orange zest, mango, papaya and kiwi fruit. This body is a bit thin and it is a touch sweet. I taste a nice hop bitterness, caramel and a pleasant fruity flavor. This is a decent enough non-alcoholic brew.
2.7 Who makes ambers in 2022? My god. And this one doesn't even have alcohol! This is actually okay though. Hoppy, a little thin and metallic. Not the end of the world.
2.6 Bottle Svezia bb28/8/21 Ambrata limpida discreta schiuma media persestenza note ossidate buona nota maltata caramello nota erbacea caramella nel finale amaro
3.2 0.33 l bottle at a Coop Store, close to Torshälla, Sweden. Dark amber to brown colour, small off-white head. Grassy and herbal hops, leaves. Licorice, malts, caramel. Light body, sweet, malty, green hops, metallic. Bitter finish. Not very refreshing, but nicely flavourful.
2.7 Canned. Hints of malted grains. Some hops. Ok but the ipa is preferred here
3.4 12oz can from Arrow - Mason, no date that I can find on the can (probably on the box). Drank from can. Great toasty malt, nice bit of spicy herbal hop. Bit of dark fruit and caramel malt comes out later. Light to medium body, soft moderate carbonation, light dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Satisfying na Amber lager. Nice with my chili for lunch.
2.2 330ml bottle at Ricebowl in Oslo. Remaining off-white head to a clear amber body, dotted spots on the glass. Modest aromas of ripe fruit. Malt-fruity flavours, grain and an orange bite. Ends dry with a distant citric note. Okay with our Thai food. (Oslo 05.11.2021).
3.4 bottle at home... copper. soft sweet caramel toffee fruit nose... soft sweet caramel toffee fruit nose.. soft sticky caramel toffee fruit
3.4 The aroma is well balance, with caramel malt and hops. Lots of floral and citrus notes. The appearance is copper with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is smooth. A very good N/A beer! I would be happy to drink this anytime.
4.0 Tastes vary much like beer
2.8 Mahognyfärgat med tunt vitt skum. Doftar lite fruktigt och humle. Smaken mellanfyllig, lite söt och fruktig. Eftersmaken hyggligt lång och besk, lite söt.
3.2 22.7.2021: 330 ml bottle at home, 0.4% ABV, bb. 15.2.2022, bought at a supermarket. Pours a clear copper with an off-white head. The aroma is lightly to medium malty and lightly to medium hoppy with some unfermented wort, bread, biscuit, sweet grains and light earthy and resinous hop notes. Medium body with a medium carbonation, a light sweetness and a light to medium-light bitterness. The flavor feels less unfinished than the smell with bread, caramel, resinous hops, some pine and earthy notes. Finishes with a light to medium hop bitterness. Pretty decent alcohol free beer, that reminds me more of an IPA than a Lager. Aroma: 6 Appearance: 4 Taste: 7 Palate: 3 Overall: 12
3.7 Bra alkoholfri
3.3 0.33 l bottle from 'OnderNulPuntVijf', best before April 2021. Clear, deep amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite fruity-floral aroma of mango, marmelade, orange peel and light pine. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite fruity-floral, minimally resiny taste of marmelade, mango, orange peel, some pine and a touch of caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Refreshing NA Lager, really well done!
3.2 Dark amber to mahogany colour. Low head but rather high carbonation. Pine aroma. Very fruity taste and balanced bitterness. Weak body but that is alright considering the low alcohol level.
3.5 Bottle. Morrison’s. Medium amber colour with a decent off white foam. Nose has some toffee and minty pine. Taste is pretty well balanced spicy malt and piny bitterness. Light body. Fine carbonation. Light bitter finish.
2.8 Pours a clear golden yellow with a white foam head. Aroma is grain, grass, and citrus hops. Flavor is grass, grains, with citrus and floral hops and bitter finish. Definitely not as good as an actual beer, but also not bland or bad.
3.0 Less complexity than a full body beer. But still some very pleasant flavour of peel orange. Amber color. Overall a very nice a/f. One of few good broad distributed n a. Highly recommended for those wo try to reduce their weekly alcohol consumption.
2.8 Fairly amber coloured body, perfectly clear of course with a thinnish, one to perhaps two centimetre tall off-white head that fades very quickly. Aroma of cardboard, funky malts, a dash of grapefruit and some citrusey hops with a light dose of sugar and even a hint of bread or yeast - odd! Light-bodied; Sharp biscuity and very stale malt notes with a non-grain/gluten-free bite that hits like spelt or something funky with a light hit of corn and some subtle sweetness from caster sugar with little else aside from some a dash of the grapefruity and herbal hops and even a light bitterness noticeable. Aftertaste shows a decent balance of malt and hops for the funky malt notes that exist here, the hops show nicer and do even give off a bit of bitterness and depth, despite there being just about none from the malts. Overall, a decent no-alcohol beer that hits as a biscuity and very easy-drinking product with some light bitterness from the grassy and herbal hops - pretty nice, but not as good as the Lagunitas IPNA. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 05-April-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 25-April-2021, near the end of my month without alcohol, sampled alongside some smoked meats that I just made and needed a partner, but sadly it wasn't a real beer, because we're still here in April.
2.8 Bottle at home, from Waitrose online, 09/03/21. Clear rich copper with a good sized light egg shell white covering that retains well. Nose is grassy , light orange rind, pale malts, light aspartamic whiff. Taste comprises light citric zest, hint of pine, toasted grains, airy malts, straw, light orange peel. Light to medium body, fine carbonation, semi drying close Decent enough AF affair ... would revisit.
3.4 12oz can gifted from sister spud. Hands down one of the best n/a brews I've ever had. Does it suck compared to a regular IPA? Of course. But compare it to any of the usual n/a or low abv options out there and this one really stands out. "It's like drinking an actual beer" should be what the advertisement says.
3.5 The best alcohol free beer that money can buy.
2.3 Bottled, 330ml from Waitrose in Banbury, Oxon. Toffee brown with white head. Sweet caramel, boiled sugar flavours to the fore, thin on the palate unsurprisingly for the style. The sweetness lingers throughout with a cola type note. Slight citrus hint. Cheap as chips, just £1:25 in Waitrose but not that great.
3.0 Clear copper color with a medium white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Floral and piney hop aroma with malt in the background. Light-bodied with flavors of fruit, piney hop and malt. The finish is fruity and malty with a faint piney hop aftertaste. Average overall.
