1.5Orange. Very syrupy. Salty. Not a lot of mango, more orange mango than anything. Tasted at my variants themed tasting. Thx Tim.
1.2[ can ][ 1oz ][ @tasting ][ $ ? ][ snifter ][ 11.14.15 ]
tepid mango color. Fusel sugar mango nose. Front palate is ultra sweet, plenty of plastic, stinging sweetness through watery body. n00bs... scale school, this way
1.4Giant 25oz can thanks to Mr Chopin. What a jerk! Pours a clear orange with no head. Nose is shitty, mango candy. Flavor is grossly sweet, mango. Too sweet. Ugh.
3.2Can. Thanks to MrChopin at the November 2015 DC Gathering. Poured what would give a 5/5 for any other brewery, so why not. 5 out of 5. Aroma is straight mango juice. Taste is mango juice too. No real offensive notes, but tastes more like candy or a kid’s juice box.
0.6Can blamed on MrChopin. Traitor. Cloudy orange color. Aroma of mango juice. Taste is mango juice. You should just drink mango juice, it would be healthier.
1.8Can. Pours a clear orange color with a small fast disappearing white head. Has a fruity strong sweetish mango aroma. Fruity sweetish mango flavor. Has a sweetish fruity strong mango finish with weak hints of lime.
2.88 oz. can. Pours orange with no head. Aroma of mango, lime and fruit. Taste was sweet.
1.38 oz can. Bud Light Lime Mang-o-Rita is a clear yellow orange liquid with a thin head of fizzy white bubbles. Nose is tropical fruit and sugar. Taste is mango candy. Body is thin. very soda like without the alcohol being very evident. as other raters have noted this could go down pretty fast and you could be very drunk before you realized why.
1.7Where and how: can 200? ml
Aroma strong feel of artificial citrus, soda like.
Appearance : 2-
Top: none.
Base: clear, bright orange
Palate : medium bodied. Plus carbonation, semi-dry.
Taste: medium bodied. Drinkable with average carbonation. Fell of sweet soda but with more substance and body. Alcohol dangerously well hidden.
other notes I expected to be far worse than it was.
1.3Little can courtesy of my brother Matt; consumed over ice (cubed) from a red Solo cup. While playing cornhole. In Indiana. ’Murica. Part deux. Aroma: Sweet mango diabetes. Wilford Brimley’s tears. Appearance: Orange Crush with no head. Flavor: Matches the nose; very sweet, but less apparent alcohol than the apple-rita. Palate: Light body, slick texture, average carbonation, long finish. Overall: This is less enjoyable than the apple-rita. Drink at your own peril.
2.3Well...what can I say? It has a nice mango flavour. You don’t taste the booze at all..and is rather refreshing. However....it’s all fake. The flavour of aspartame is very dominant at the end..basically making this a one time novelty but for me.
1.7Poured from a small can. Watery orangish appearance. If I pretend it’s a fruity Margarita and not a beer, the aromas okay. The taste is like syrup, though, and the lime really takes away from the experience.
2.0Aroma of Orange Crush and Mango, looks like Orange Crush no head moderate carbonation. Sweet taste of mango and orange crush. With a sweet soda pop finish.
2.0Poured from a dwarf can. Looks like orange Fanta. Smells like mango. Weak body with a mango soda flavor and a sugary finish.
0.7Can from Nick Knacks. Needed the rating. Synthetic notes of orange and mango. Very sugary. Thin body. Ehhh
3.08 oz can poured into a Goose Island pint glass. $1.00 from Safeway. Slightly hazy soda orange with no head. Aromas of mango, peach jelly candy. Tastes of sweet mango and peach candy up front, light booze, sugar syrup. Light body with a semi-dry finish. Decent for what it is.
2.2Can at "Fuzzfest" near Scranton, PA. Bright orange color with white head. Aroma notes of sugary mango and light alcohol. Taste adds mixer-like powdery citrus-mango and white sugar. Medium-heavy body, low carbonation, sticky, rich with very sweet finish. Pretty much a mixed drink in a can.
1.524oz can. Pours orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma is of sugar and mangos. Taste is of sweet mangos and lots of sugar. That’s all there is to it. Its not horrendous, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to drink it. Its just sugary crap.
0.9Can 237ml @ Hotel room, Weber’s, Ann Arbor, MI
Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma has notes of sugar, artificial mango juice. Taste is heavy sweet with a long sugary sweet mango finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.
1.0Can. A hazy, orange colored drink with a few bubbles on top. There’s lots of artificial mango on the nose, with a touch of vodka. The same goes for the flavor, which is rather sweet. Artificial mango runs the show, with good help from vodka and sugar. Medium body iwth some warmth, decent carbonation and a way too lasting finish. Awful. 150615
1.2Just way too sweet for me. Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma of fruit and some malts. Taste is sweet fruit.
1.7pours hazy and almost cloudy orange with a small white cap, no particular retention nor lacing. fragrant and artificial mangoes, candy-like and kool-aid-like *TM, fruit beverage powder, cloying plain sugars, bland honeyed doughy malt extract, alcohol, dust, ginger and other spices traces. average carbonation, light to medium body - oily; cloying awkward fruity finish. gross like some others in this series, but not all.
2.3Can from Kroger for a buck. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have big sweet, syrupy candy like mango with some lime citrus, more sweet, I suppose in greater scheme of things this is not terrible, it’s just not like drinking a beer.
2.8Small can. Pours a clear bright orange color with a small white head. A massive fruity sugary nose. Actually this isn?t terrible, big sugary mango. Very sweet and terrible but drinkable. Cost me 50 cents. Nice.
2.0Obviously made with flavors, acids, etc. added. This version is quite sweet but has that bitterness bite on the end that comes from artificial or "diet" sugar. Must be how they dropped the calories from the original lime-a-rita
1.6Mini can to plastic party wine cup at my apartment complex Mardi Gras party. Orange with no head. Smells and tastes of sweet mango-flavored chemical juice. Yech.
2.7Orange soda color. Artificial mango aroma. Soda-like. Easy to drink. Really artificial.
2.28 oz. can. It pours a bright orange color with some fizz, but no head. The aroma is straight up mango jolly rancher. Not much else. Super sweet and candy-like. The flavor follows suit with sickly sweet artificial mango flavor with hints of lime and alcohol near the finish. I poured about 2 ounces unadulterated for this review, and then poured the rest over ice. I’d highly recommend pouring it over ice to dilute. It’s actually fairly enjoyable that way. Not bad for an alco-pop.
2.4Can from Fred Meyer. Sweet and fruity with a bit of alcohol. Not beer in my opinion, but I do like one from time to time.
3.1Bottle at James’ for the multi-K tasting. Pours a clear gold with no head. Mango candy, soda. Sweet and sweet, followed by sweet. But a nice juicy mango lollipop flavor. Sugary and sweet, but as a soda with some booze in it, it does a nice job.
