Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita

Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita

The beer based margarita is now introduced with strawberry flavoring. This is our take on the traditional margarita. Beer drinkers were already mixing Bud Light Lime into margaritas to create ‘beer ritas’; Lime-a-Rita just adds a new level of convenience by providing a beverage with the perfect balance of flavors.

2.0 Pours a bright pink color without any head. Strawberry syrup flavor. Sugary sweetness lingers.
1.8 Small sample from a small can. Big strawberry, sugary sweet aroma, not bad. The flavor is worse, mega sweet, sugary, fruity garbage juice. Pretty hard to drink this boost.
1.5 Red kool-aid color; Medium body; Aroma and flavor of sweet malt, strawberries, & sugar; Pretty artificial - a little better than the lime version.
1.6 Can. Sampled at gregwilsonstl’s tasting. It poured a hazy red color with no head. The aroma was of artificial lime, sugar and strawberry. The taste was similar to the aroma with more strawberry, sugar, lime and some alcohol.
0.7 What in gods name is this? It's a taste so indescribably bad that I cannot place it. Sure it's strawberry, they said. It has 8% abv they said. Mix it with ice, they said. The taste is like a sugary kids cereal that is so cloying that it sticks to your tongue and roof of your mouth. The aroma is booze and you certainly get a nose full of it. The color of the "beer" is like someone played a cruel joke with red food coloring and Kotex. This will never pass through my lips again. I just needed to review it. 25 Oz. can bought at Schnucks Market in Saint Peters, Missouri.
1.3 [ can ][ 1oz ][ @tasting ][ $ ? ][ snifter ][ 11.14.15 ] fiery strawberry, thin frothy white ring. Stinging fiery strawberry nose, sugar burning harshly, chemical bitterness. Fruity palate is soft, watery but no chemicals, thin fizzy end. Learn the scale n00bs.
1.3 Giant 25oz can thanks to Mr Chopin. What a jerk! Pours a bright pink with no head. Nose of jam and soda. Flavor is bad, nasty cheap strawberry soda. Tastes like bad decisions.
0.7 Can blamed on MrChopin, we collectively hate you passionately. Pink. Chemical berry aroma. Taste is Fruity Pebbles.
1.2 8 oz can. Bud Light Lime Straw-Ber-Rita pours a pinkish red, with fizzy white bubbles. Nose is strawberry frozen margarita. Taste is similar. think about the quality of margarita you get out of those slushy machines but in a wine cooler form, in a can. You’re about there. Have no illusions of this being great. It’s a stand in for a mixed drink, that is ten times easier to serve and drink. As long as your expectations are low, it’s passable.
2.7 8 oz. can. Pours pinkish/red. Aroma is sour, grapefruit, strawberry and lime. Taste was sweet, 7-up mixed with strawberry and limes.
2.4 Can, courtesy of Craig (cheers Craig) consumed at End of the Road Festival, Dorset, Saturday 5th September 2015. Pours glowing red, it’s like a sweet beery medicine, syrupy, sickly, gloopy and sweet, ermm...cheers Craig. A5 A4 T4 P2 Ov9 2.4
1.8 botttle at craig’s july tasting light pink, thin, fruity, more aritificial than other two, but then not a big fan of strawberries. fills a gap in market i suppose.
2.5 Neon pink, no head and a rich fakey sweetness. Probably the poorest of the bunch, at least he lime one tasted fake-authentic. Similarly sweet to the others but a bit more frustaringly fake. Bottle, Beers I Hadn’t Known Were Gushers Daisy Tasting
3.2 Can. Pours a majestic pink with no head. Aroma of strawberry juice, something a bit foul in the background. Taste of strawberry juice like haribo strawbs with some lager flavour. Bit sweet
2.9 Can at craig’s. Pours neon red, nose is sugary sweet strawberry, taste is bitter lime, light strawberry.
2.0 Bottle at Craig’s. Pours neon red with no head. Aromas of strawberry yoghurt. Taste is sweet strawberry. Sweet finish. 12th July, gusher tasting

1.9 Pours red with no head. Very little strawberry flavor. Sweet flavor if strawberries. A little alcohol burn and nothing else. Light on the palate. Overall meh.
2.5 8% shandy? Huh. Strawberry, super sweet, just a hint of tanginess. Some booze. However not as sweet as some.
1.4 Smells like cheap strawberry candy and malt liquor, a little medicinal as well. Looks like hazy red fruit punch. Sweet, weird, boozy, sharp, very fruity in a very artificial way. Light bodied.
3.4 SOMETIMES I WANT A VERRY EASY DRINK BEER WHAT I AM SWIMMING OR SHOOTING AT THE RIFELL RANGE. IF ITS REALY HOT AT THE SHOOTIN RANGE I START OF WITH PLINY (ITS JUST THE BEST); BUT THEN GO TO A CASE TO STRAWRETA TO THE DAY. SECOND OFF ALL STRAWRETA IS SMOOTH AND STILL TASTE LIKE BEERS. NOT TO SWEET BUT HUST A SMOOTH STRAWBERRY TASTE. THE TASTE. YOU CAN FEEL THE CARBENATON IN YOU’RE STOMACHE. SECOND OFF ALL THE PRICE IS GOOD. SO WHEN IM SHOOTING SKEETS TO I CAN USS THIS CANS FOR TARGETS.
2.4 Small 8 ounce can, I think it cost me fifty cents. Pours a bright ungodly pink red color, I wonder if this is dying my mouth red. Anyway, the aroma is big sweet artificial berries and sugar. Sugary sweet, sweet tarts, light alcohol. Drinkable, just not much.
2.0 Petite little 8 oz can poured into a snifter. 100 United States pennies at Safeway. Murky candy red with a sliver of off-white bubbles that wish to cease existence. Aromas of strawberry Jolly Ranchers and gummies, fruit punch. Tastes of strawberry candy, fruit syrup, fruit punch, some booze. Light body with a semi-dry finish.
1.2 236 ml can free from promo team on College Street. Pours a cloudy watermelonish red with basically no head. Aroma is cherry/strawberry/watermelon candy, sugar and a little lime - not unpleasant, but nothing like beer. Taste is sickly sweet with candyish, artificial strawberry (and maybe its the colour but I can’t help but also feel like its reminiscent of watermelon) and sugar. Somehow both syrupy and thin. Ugh.
1.2 Stole a couple swigs from my wife’s can. Force-carbonated, fruit punch red. Aroma is pure chemical, artificial strawberry, and cheap tequila. Tastes like a genuine margarita, made from the finest artifically flavored syrups and well tequila. Not my thing.
2.8 Can from Grocery Outlet. Looks bright red in the can. Smells sweet. Some strawberry margarita smell. It really does have a genuine margarita flavor. Pretty refreshing and easy sipping.
1.8 "... Perfect balance of flavors" is not inaccurate, the problem is none of those flavors is very good on its own, let alone mixed together. Syrupy strawberry and powdery fruit punch with mild lime tang.
3.7 Not sure how this soda pop thing from a can is ratable at ratebeer, pretty funny, heheh. Red kool-aid color. Yes a soda pop malt beverage fer sure. has a alky laced feel to it, wew. Overall it smells pretty good but then that alky taste has a bit of a kick in the flavor, makes it seems so artificial overall. So, funny, some ciders are rejected because of the fruit but this isn’t! Yes, not a beer but goes down so easy wew. Good thing this is only 8 ounces, the sugar and alky mix would kill my stomach in larger amounts.
2.2 8 oz. can from Safeway. It pours a bright reddish/pink color with a fizzy and disappearing head. The aroma is straight up strawberry preserves, strawberry syrup with massive sugary sweetness. The flavor is the same. Big strawberry, sugar, hints of lime and alcohol. The finish is still sweet, sugary and syrupy. Honestly, this would be a pretty great option if you’re looking for something sweet, fruity and a cheap, quick buzz. Not really offensive if you love tooth rotting sugar. I think I drank about five ounces before I drain poured the rest, but I would probably take this over a regular Bud Light at a party on a summer day.
1.6 pours hazy yellow-grey, pink hue, with a disappearing white cap, no lacing. artificial if not rotten strawberries, lime and other citrus presence, cloying sweetness - plain refined cane sugar, tiny grassy notes. surprisingly light carbonation, medium body, sweet and off fruity finish. blah.
