3.3Bottle pour, deep black with reddish tones, nice cream head with light lacing. Rich malty aroma with chocolate and blueberry, flavor is roasted bitter with (fake) blueberry syrup. Smooth mouthfeel (oats), quick bitter finish. Decent but not great oatmeal stout -- not nearly as good as my "Blueberry Woods" oatmeal milk stout homebrew recipe!!

For a beer of this style and origin, one might reasonably fear it would have too much blueberry flavor or be too sweet. Neither is the case. Instead we have fairly well balanced ale with a blueberry note that is closer to subtle than to overpowering. Lightly swet up front; mildly bitter in the lasting aftertaste where there’s also a nice showing of natural blueberry flavor.
Medium+ carbonation is a bit high for style but smooth and creamy nonetheless.
3.4Bottle. Pours a rather dark brown color with a fairly thick light tan head on there. Nose is dominated by the blueberries, but in a light way, and has just a hint of some roasting underneath. Taste is quite fruity with a lot of blueberry, as well as a bit of roasting coming through. I’d like less fruit, but it’s still decent.
3.0Pours a thin head on a black body.
The aroma is roasted malt and a hint of blueberry.
The taste starts with roasted malt, then some blueberry, chocolate and finishes with lemon bitterness.
The texture is crisp and fizzy.
The flavor is fine, the texture is too fizzy though.
2.4Bottle pour. Dark brown with a large foamy tan head with good lacing. Coffee and blueberry aroma. Medium creamy body. Coffee flavor with a hint of blueberry. Not a big fan of anything that taste like coffee, so it got a lower rating than from someone who would enjoy the taste.
2.9"blueberry barely evident in the aroma. a little more in the taste, but more of a general sweetness that hints at blueberry. til you burp. the burps are all blueberry. the flavor is chocolatey, with roasted malt and a surprisingly decent amount of hops. body is tad thin but not bad. this is by no means a great beer, but dare i say it...underated? brewed by pyramid in WA for Buffalo Bills in Hayward."
3.8Dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of blueberries, malt and pepper. Light sweetness, soft carbonation, medium body, much better than expected.
3.7Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a decent dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light lacing sliding and sticking at various times throughout the consuming of this beer.
The smell had a roasty sort of light chocolate quality with the blueberry in the background.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. It seemed appropriately carbonated for the style and for me. There’s no aftertaste whatsoever, but it does have a dry finish.
Overall, good beer I could see myself having almost every Spring.
3.0Stout is a bit more bitter hippy than I would like blueberry taste us good aftertaste good stout
2.3Very nice aroma, not a bad flavor, creamy start with a light finish, no blueberry aftertaste.
3.5Bottle - Blueberry and some roast. Clear dark brown maroon thin brown head. Roast malts and light blueberries. Less sweet than the nose.
2.9This was definitely more of a fruit beer than a stout. Blueberry basically punches you in the face when you smell it. Unfortunately, it covers everything else. It is a good looking beer with a dark chocolate color and tan foamy head. The palate was average weight and creamy like an oatmeal stout. Flavor was again blueberry with a small amount of dark malts and oatmeal. Interesting blend but too one-sided.
3.2Bottle. Pours a black color with a minimal head. Aroma of cocoa, blueberry, smarties candy. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Light sweetness. Slight tartness. Not bad.

Appearance: The beer pours a chestnut, in the glass it appears a deep and murky garnet only through lots of light. The head is short and dense with a light tan hue. Nice looking beer.
Aroma: The aroma isn’t very complex, it’s strong of blueberries, not similar to blueberries, a lot of blueberries. They come off a little astringent. There’s a mild chocolate aroma, but blueberry dominates.
Taste: Mild chocolate and blueberry throughout, great blueberry flavor with a very slight roast towards the end. Not bad, but not enough base.
Palate: Full-bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is close to being pretty excellent. The beer needs a bigger base instead of having a huge blueberry flavor. Find that balance and this will be great. Great price and worth trying.
2.8Bottle. Rather light colored for an oatmeal stout; looks like cola to me. Head is tan and lacy. Smells for all the world like Grape Ne-Hi. Flavor is instant coffee and licorice; the blueberry kicks in more on the finish than on the taste itself. Mouthfeel is good, but it’s overly carbonated. Average.
3.2pours a dark brown with a medium sized tan head. the aroma is blueberries and oatmeal surprisingly. the taste is also of oatmeal but the blueberry taste sorta ruins it for me. too artificial.
3.1Fairly dark with a tannish brown head. Fruit flavor takes over, though there is a hint of roasty malt beneath. Sweet, fruity, long finish.
1.9Nothing offensive about it. Nice blueberry nose not much on the palate. Okay, just ordinary.
2.8Bottled: unk
Pours a brown beer with a fleeing underfinger of light latte foam. The beer smells of - blueberry and oatmeal. Huh, spot on for the name. Tastes of - oats and peppercorns and some sweet cardboard. Once I’ve tasted it, when I smell it again, it’s got a bit of a musty smell to it. Medium bodied with some lighter moderate carb. Meh.

3.2Not bad -- nice appearance, brown, more like a stout, but small head. You can definitely smell the blueberries, but not in an overpowering way like some fruity beers. More difficult to discern the blueberry flavor while drinking it, and there’s a surprisingly bitter aftertaste, with a little bit of tininess.
3.3Poured from a bottle. Dark brown color, large off white frothy head. Strong blueberry aroma. Chocolate malt with blueberry body with a metallic finish.
1.9Bottle: Ruby red, almost black in the middle with lots of small, white sediment floating around. Thick, creamy khaki head that shows excellent retention. Aroma is light blueberry syrup or concentrate, not overpowering, though, with some reminders of oat, granola, & roasty malt. Taste is sweet malt, roasted & chocolatey up front with notes of blueberry concentrate, granola, nuts, oats, & barley in the finish. Chewy, sticky body. Syrupy, fake blueberry taste, cloying as it gets warmer.
3.3Transferring from BeerAdvocate. Its been a while but I remember it tasting a little off or artificial. Not the best beer but nice innovative idea.
2.5Strange mix of blueberry and stout, it works but a little too strong in the alcohol taste.-- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
2.0overall this is just bad. pours black with and offwhite moderate head. aromas of chocolate, blueberry and roasted malt. taste is blueberry sweetness with a bitter burnt malt. it does not go well together. finish is just the burnt malt that lingers.
2.512oz bottle from ABC on Betton. Dark brown pour with thin off-white head. Aroma is light brown sugar and blueberry. Tastes are has a cola vibe up font, then and astringent grainy oatmeal thing... not so much.
2.9Pours dark black with a tan head. Fruity, blueberry aromas come off immediately on the pour and a raisiny, sweet and slight bitterness throughout the drink. Wishing it had more depth and body, me being a big blueberry guy, it was ok.
2.0Pours a brownish color and leaves a tan head. Has an aroma of blueberry and roasted malt. The taste has a syrup sweetness that is almost overpowering followed by a bitterness that lingers after the swallow.
3.3Inky with a prodigious khaki head in spite of several stage pour. Wonderful burnt sugar strong blueberry aroma; sweet up front palate then the bitter oily stout takes over in the finish.
3.3Poured a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. This Oatmeal Stout poured a poured a brownish color, produced a nice tan head, decent retention and it left a little lacing on the glass.
The aroma consisted of fresh blueberries and roasted malt. Medium in body, ultra smooth and creamy. Foundation of roasted malt, blueberry, and chocolate. Overall, nice session beer, first fruit Stout that I have sampled, it was well balanced.
