2.9 12 oz. bottle from Wilbur’s. Appearance: finger white head, does not last, golden yellow color, clear, slight lacing. Aroma: orange creamsicle, light yeastines, caramel, vanilla. Palate: light body, average carbonation, dry finish, coating texture. Taste: mildly sweet with a bitter lasting finish that is light. Overall, drinkable, and I love the aroma at first, but it burns you out quickly and the balance is off. Worth a try, and amazing with some icecream in it probably.
2.8 Very citrusy aroma. Color is light gold, slightly orange. Pretty crisp taste, but the orange flavor is pretty bold. It's almost a generic/fake orange flavor added. It still enjoyable but I probably would have more than one.
3.7 Poured from a bottle. Clear fizzy golden color, medium white frothy head. Nice orange aroma. Light crisp body with a mild orange flavor and a smooth finish. Nice summer beer.
2.6 bottle. orangish with small head. a bit of a strange beer. light malt and substantial orange. ok, but not much more than that.
1.4 Appearance was a hazy orange with no head at all. The aroma was a faint orange creamsicle smell, and faint orange blossom floral notes. The taste was a taste of soft orange and light malt, it really had a taste of an orange soda or like a Fresca, not really what I am looking for in a beer. Feel was like a soda - thin light and somewhat fizzy. It could appeal to the right person, it's not off-putting. It's an uneventful fruit beer. --- JPS
2.2 Bottle. A- Orange, herbs. A- Dark orange color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Fake citrus tones, subtle honey tones, spices. P- Light body, creamy texture, average carbonation, mild bitter finish. O- The orange flavor I was expecting was definitely lacking. Overall, I was hoping for a lot more from this beer.
3.6 Buffalo Bill’s Orange Blossom Cream Ale has an extremely thick, creamy, off-white head, with brown specs noticeable at the top, a hazy, highly fizzy, yellow-gold appearance, with numerous suspended brown chunks, and a heavy lacing left behind. The aroma is of particularly sharp orange with a background of white bread. Taste is of oranges, orange peel, some honey, citric acid, and white bread, with a shade of tap water. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Buffalo Bill’s Orange Blossom Cream Ale finishes dry, juicy, sweet, and refreshing. For a fruit beer, this is a winner. RJT
2.0 Bottle, as pictured. I got it as a favor from a guest and used most of it to cook some peppers for a chili. Taste was very sweet, very cough syrup-y. It had a very fake citrus flavor to it. Gross.
2.3 Another one of those "how have I never rated this" beers. 12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin fizzy head that fades quickly. Aroma of intense orange with a bit of earthiness. The taste is orange, pale malts, very faint hops. Thin and watery. Meh.
3.2 Pale, hazy yellow with no head to speak of. The nose is orangey and malty. The aroma is intense, yet soft. Orange is very much present, with malt, vanilla, and floral aromas in the background.
4.2 I fell for this beer simply because of the pretty packaging and was totally impressed with the not-so-frilly-feminine taste that I thought it might have. It was strong and rough, but paired nicely with everything I ate. My mother, who is not so much of a fan of bitter-tasting beers, did not like it very much, but I would definitely purchase Buffalo Bills again.
3.1 Pale, hazy yellow with no head to speak of. The nose is orangey and malty. The aroma is intense, yet soft. Orange is very much present, with malt, vanilla, and floral aromas in the background.
4.4 This was an excellent beer. Loved just about everything about it except that I didn’t have more.
2.1 Poured from a bottle, San Diego. Clear orange body that doesn’t look like beer, minimal head. Aroma of orange soda. A bit of an astringent flavor, with some orange that really isn’t very good. This could have been a good beer, and I do love lambics and well executed fruit beers.
1.7 12oz bottle picked up at Wilburs in CO Clear golden with a small white head, no lacing. Aroma of plastic and fruit extract. Flavors of fruit, sour and herbal I didn’t like it. I was going to footbalm it but my wife like it and finished it.
1.2 Don't ever buy it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tastes like bad Triamedic medicine
1.8 Rated in 2010 (Backlog) - Yellow in color with a small white head. Aroma is of orange lolipops and orange scented Mr. Clean. Taste is of orange soda and grain.
2.9 Nice tasting cream ale, it's drinkable but none of the flavors stand out as amazing. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10
1.7 [US West Coast Trip 2013] haha ja du. Det här var intressant. Aroma av sött rengöringsmedel med apelsin doft. Smaken är då inte mycket bättre. Hade nog kunnat blanda ihop det här bättre själv ;)
3.9 Smooth semi-sweet palate with and orange kick. The appearance could be better but overall its a great summer sipping brew. If you like a smooth hefeweisen try this beer.
1.4 I’ve never smelled or tasted orange blossoms, but if they are as unpleasant as this beer I never want to. Aroma of orange peel and soap (no it’s not my glass, I’m very careful). Smooth on the palate, i’ll give it that, but the taste is of cream, orange, flowers, and soap..lol. This is my first go round with this beer, so I will give it another shot, but man I really dislike it so far.
1.8 Appearance: Orange and straw under a fizzy white head which quickly fizzles into nothing. Swirls with a small fizzy collar. Nose: Cheap orange soda - Fanta anyone – with corn in the back. Apple cider vinegar, but with oranges. Orangecello. Orange cream syrup in the middle. Palate: Bland and blah. Fizzy mouthfeel reveals cheap orange soda with corn along the edges. Orange and apple vinegar finishes with a hard bite in the back. Final Thoughts: Horrible. I am not a soda drinker but if I had to choose between Fanta or the Buffalo Bills Orange Blossom Cream Ale, I’d choose the Fanta. No doubts. No second guessing. An easy choice. 3.4 Very very strong orange syrup flavor, so strong it doesnt seem real. (Is this artificial?) Appearnce no head at all. Taste is more something you would give a kid for breakfast, artificial orange with sweetness. Good balance on the tongue, slight orange bitter ending but eveyrthing is beer in nature. Unique not bad. If I can find our this uses no artificial flavor I’l be that more impressed.
3.4 Some aromatic of citrus in there. Very nice to drink but the sourness become bitter and strange.
2.5 12oz bottle. Small white head atop clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange, some flower, light peach. Taste is moderately sweet, orange, some seltzer, light peach. Light-medium body.
2.8 Pours a slightly hazy pale golden with a thin, but retained small bead white head. Aroma is citrus and spice. Taste is sweet pale malt, orange zest, a little breadiness and perfumy. Refreshing and not bad at all, but just another summer ale.
1.6 The look is golden in color, clear, and not much color. The smell is oranges, tang, fruits, powder, and malts. The taste is fruits, oranges, and boring.
2.4 12 oz bottle pours light amber with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt and orange. Taste is bitter orange peel, honey and a hint of malts.
2.6 Bottle. Tangy orange aroma. Hazy straw gold with a moderate white head. Orange and oily orange peel flavor. Light body, lively carbonation. Not a great beer, but I sort of liked the orange oil flavor, and I’ve had a whole lot worse.
0.9 Pours hazy, light amber with a skim of head. Aroma is orange alka-seltzer and AsperGum....(remember AsperGum?) Taste is stale orange peel and water. Plenty of orange elements here, and they all work poorly. It’s not good at being orange, and it’s certainly not good at being a beer... Useless... They really need to get a clue at the brewery.......
