3.7 Robe blonde claire, reflets verdâtres, fine mousse. Nez acidulé où l’on retrouve une note de houblon frais, des agrumes et une touche herbacée. Belle bouche à l’attaque fraîche, de la tension, une bulle fine et une finale élégante à la fois acidulée et houblonnée. Une belle bière de soif.

4.1 surprised to see this at 77/47. pours an unassuming flattish clear yellow. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic hoppy sour - though mine was a year old. Big notes of grapefruit and pineapple in the nose and flavor. Drinks light, and more like a straight up sour than a Berliner. Tropical fruits and lemon. Delicious.

2.7 Bottle from Raynville Superstore, Armley, Leeds. Nothing much on the nose. Taste has massive amount of citrus and sour notes, a hint of honey too. Not really for me, but that’s just my palate. Very interesting nonetheless.
3.5 My Bottom Line: This tart, dry and citrusy Berliner-style Weisse hits all the right notes yet doesn’t have much to distinguish itself for other beers in the same flavour family. Further Personal Perceptions: -A veil of foam covers the hazy pale blond. -Lactic acidity and funk are present but moderately so. -Drinkability is very high. -Didn’t get the hoppy part of this that much (the aroma was mostly lactic). On tap at L. Mulligan Grocer, Dublin.
