May alse be / have been produced at Tadcaster.

"A smooth, creamy ale." Introduced in 1994 as a 4.8% Irish Ale by Bass at Caffrey’s Ulster brewery, and promoted strongly with an advertising campaign of "strong words softly spoken". Interbrew took over in 2000, soften the recipe and attempted to catch the lager market, using a new promotion of "a storm brewing". Coors acquired the brand in 2002. Initially contract brewed by Interbrew for Coors at Ulster, the brand eventually moved to Coor’s Tower Brewery in Tadcaster.

The ABV was reduced from 4.8% to 4.2% in 2001 and, in March 2010, was further reduced to 3.8%. ABV may vary in export markets.

2.6 440ml can from Epicurean Supermarket in Antigua on vacation. Pours a clear orange-gold with a thin, creamy, short lived, off-white head that leaves spotty lacing. Mild aroma of toasted malt, bread and caramel. Light flavour of toasted malt, bread, caramel and fruit with a dry, bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation.
0.8 Can, 440 ml. I've expected a lot more from this one, but it's absolutely nothing. Dark brown colour, beige creamy head, doesn't go away. Nothing on the nose, absolutely nothing, smells like an empty glass. The palate is very weak, i can't feel nothing, it's like 1 drop of coffe with 1 drop of caramel syrup in 1 L of water. Unbelieviable. Very disappointing. A big nothing.
2.8 Pint from tap at Waxy O'Connors. Creamy and smooth red ale. Light in flavour, but exceptional texture.
3.0 Keg at White Lion, Aldershot. This used to be what i drank at college and uni but can't have had it for maybe 17 years. Caramel sweet malty aroma. Light chestnut. Thick creamy head. Sweet with a light bitterness that gets more noticable intonthe finish. Slightly chemical. Light boied. Thin. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. A macro bitter. Drinkable. Preferable to lager. Not too sweet.
2.7 Tap at Victoria Hotel, Robin Hood's Bay. Amber colour, creamy white foam head and grainy aroma. Taste is sweet malty, toffee, boiled sweets, biscuit with light bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, semi-dry light bitter finish. OK.
2.9 Clear golden beer. Dense white head. Floral hops on aroma. Addotional yeast. Light body. Biscuit, fruity. Light bitterness.
2.5 On tap. Comes a clear golden red with a decent white head. Aroma of malt, grain, and grass. Taste is similar. Easy to drink. Pleasant.
1.9 Clear amber pour, very large reverse cascade head. Not really much aroma or taste, faint malts, creamy, very light fruit and caramel notes. Not much body to speak of, watery finish.
2.6 Pint at the Institute, Denby Main. Thick creamy white head. Clear amber pour. Served too cold to taste properly.
2.7 On tap with nitro. Pours deep golden with everlasting head. Very slight fruity-biscuits aroma and some biscuity taste with quite watery mouthfeel. Extremely light bodied and softly carbonated and hence easily drinkable. Mediocre.
3.7 Easy drinking ale. Malty taste and a little caramel in aroma. Draught is superior to can by a long way. Session ale, to be drank easily whilst imbiding the Craic. Said Craic will include, music, women and dancing.
2.1 Vom Fass. Bernsteinfarbenes Ale, cremiger flacher Schaum. Kaum Aroma. Etwas Säure, Gras und Heu. Apfel und Malz im Antrunk. Leicht säuerlich. Grasiges Finish.
2.9 Ladny kwiatowy aromat.Gesta drobnopechezykowa piana gesta ze moza ja kroic.Ladna bursztynowa barwa. W smaku lagodne kremowe z owocami W tle. Fajne piwko polecam.
3.0 Draught, pint. Clear amber color with thick creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of toffee, grass, flowers and spices. Taste starts with moderate sweet toffee and toasted malt, follows by dried fruity note and herbal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Rated from the past, one of my first non lagers...
2.4 50cl can. Clear light amber colour with a nice white head. Aroma is caramel, malts and nitrogen. Low carbonation and light body. Taste is light sweet with caramel and malty notes. Overall, drinkable.
1.7 Geel rode gloed nauwelijks c02 of schuim op de koppige nep smaak van donker mout ontbreekt elke smaak en krijg je een vieze droge mond
3.2 Pours a finger of head on a hazy darker straw body. The aroma is a nice grain and milk smell. The taste is simple and unoffensive, mild dark fruits and mild bitterness. The texture is smooth and soft. An easy drinking ale.
1.9 Light amber with a white creamy head that lasts the whole pint.  Not much of an aroma to speak of. Taste bitter hops, but suprisingly watery. Light body. No personality
3.2 Huge beige creamy head. Excellent lacing. Mostly diminishing. Light-amber, thick, clear body. "Quicksand effect". Aroma: moderate malt and caramel. Initial flavor: moderate sweet very light bitter. Sabor final: light bitter sweet; average duration. Palate: oily texture, medium body, flat carbonation, metallic finish. Beautiful head. Bland taste, slightly malty. 20s
2.3 0.473 tap. Very hazy, dark gold color and a small, creamy, white head of awesome retention. Aroma of yeasts, nitrogen, and pale malts. Sweet malty taste of bread and what seems like a sweetener. Light body, slick texture, and flat carbonation. Finish is short, sweet, and malty. Overall a very mediocre brew.
2.4 Can. Good foam. Aroma: caramel, a little malty. Taste: velvety, caramel and fruits, a bit of hop bitterness, moderately watery.
2.7 Keg . Seamus inn , Torquay , Devon. Had this after mackerel fishin on a boat that was rocky as fuck. Cream flow kinda appearance ,honey kissed . Nose of nothing but generic cream. Flavours of toffee ,cream, honey , Apple . It’s not shitty ,just blah and soulless . I thought this would be an Irish Ale on the database but it’s a bull shit Bitter.
2.4 Keg from the Cock Inn, Attleborogh. Golden with a big white head. Awful purty. Smells of chemicals. Not a lot of beer scents in there. Tastes of chemical, metal and grain. Thin body. No personality. I think I’d almost prefer it if it were actively awful.
2.9 Good looking pint from can with help from the nitro quite creamy with a bitter middle and sweet sugary end very easy drinking and refreshing
3.2 Keg hanging Heaton WMC. Amber good beige head. Light caramel malts aroma taste sweet toffe malts light hoppy bitters. Ok body. Decent keg.
1.1 Can from Seoul Plaza. Clear golden to amber colour with nice lava effect and a firm smooth head. Unfortunately those are about all the nice things about this beer. The first sip almost made me vomit, end of story. Sterile pasteurised shit.
2.1 Copper colored with creamy white head. Caramel toffee aroma. Taste same a bit hops but everything is so light and hidden. Extremely light and watery... but a creamy sort of water.
2.6 Clear orange body with a creamy white head. Aroma is malty, caramel and toast. Taste is mild bitter and malt finish. Carbonation is soft, light body, watery.
2.8 Caramel, bread and some fruits in the aroma. Amber with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Light to medium body with a average carbonation. Overall totally OK, but it has a bit of an unpleasant cardboard like flavor in the finish and is quite boring.
2.2 A decent session ale but quite thin without a massive pungent hit. Decent colour. Dark Amber. And cold
