2.8 50cl Bottle from the brewery. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of some grain, light elderflower, light citrus. Flavour is light grainy, elderflower, light earthy, bitter finish. Light bodied. Not really what I hoped for.
2.6 Pours golden with small miserable head. Aroma is skunky, sour, grainy, floral, lemon. Taste is quite refreshing, mineral, grainy, malty, slightly citrous with earthy and herbal bitterness.
3.6 500ml bottle (4.3%) at home on 2 Feb 2019, from Sainsbury's, Ayr Road, Prestwick (bb 28 Oct 2019): floral, elderflower aroma, deep golden, good white head, some fine lacing, floral, elderflower, honey, citrus hop flavour, moderate fizz, easy drinking.
2.6 500 ml. bottle @ Bonnie Prince. Golden, white head. Nose is perfume, oily, sweet candy. Taste is plastic, butter, grain, massively sweet grain, creamy plastic, poor.
2.7 Had at home in Oct 18 500ml Bottle not s bad little beer.
2.2 Pours golden amber into glass with a bit of head. You can smell citrus straight off and citrus is the overwhelming taste when you drink it. Nothing really wrong with this ale but, then again, there isn't really anything to separate from the pack.
3.1 bottle bb 28/9/18 dorata limpida discreta schiuma buona persistenza lievi note floreali un po fruttata nota cereale un poco citrica amaro contenuto
3.3 Pours bright pale amber with plenty of carbonation and thin bright white head. The taste is typical for the the style; citrus fruit, hop forward, little malt, with a crisp and slightly sweet after taste. This would be very refreshing on a summers day and is very drinkable but it has nothing that makes it stand out as excellent.
2.9 Bottle. Clear golden but with a collapsing head. Nice fresh citrus aroma. Dry, banana notes, crisp with some light citrus hop bite. This seems quite a basic golden ale, thats a bit lacking in malt character, and at the same time needs some more bitterness from the hops. Drinkable, but I can remember liking the cask version more.
3.7 500ml bottle. Pours golden amber with a small white fluffy head. Big wheaty, bread malt on the nose with citrus and floral notes. Light mouth feel, nicely carbonated. Full of flavour though. Elerflower and lemon leading into a bitter finish. Tasty.
3.7 Really nice floral notes, spicy, clean. Lemony hops. Refreshing, dangerously easy to drink, and not exactly bland. Great.
3.3 Bottle. Light gold in colour. Aromatic hops. Very fruity (citrus-orange). Apparently, also elderflower. Hoppy (floral & grassy hops). Caramel malty base. Nicely balanced ale. Drying fruity finish with spicy hops. Tasty. Easy drinking. (2008)
3.0 I think it’s the wheat that makes me question this beer. It give a dull thud to the palate rather than a balanced malt sweetness. Refreshing? Possibly, in a Robinsons barley water sort of way. Elderflower? Possibly, but if it is there it’s in a cat has peeed in my pint way. Love the name, but should be on an IPA.
3.2 Butelka 500ml. Jasno-zloty kolor. Piana biala, wysoka, ladnie utrzymuje sie w szkle. W aromacie cytrusowe tony poparte ziarnistymi nutami. W smaku cytrusy ale na pierwszy plan wybija sie dziki bez i lekkie wedzone nuty. Swietne orzezwiajace piwo.
3.8 Pours pale yellow and translucent with a medium white foam subsiding slowly. Scent is light elderflower and lemon. Taste is very nice pale ale with light lemon citrus. Finish is lightly sugary and together with lemon is a nice combination. Great.
2.8 500ml Flasche. Klar und golden mit kleiner Schaumkrone. Etwas hopfig. Bisschen trocken im Abgang.
2.9 Bottle from Tesco. Nose is citrus, sweet malts, elderflower. Tastes similar although lighter than aroma.
3.9 500 ml bottle, from Matkroken Stokka. BB date 28.06.2014. ABV is 4.3%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma, notes of flowers and tropical fruits. Light bodied. Medium dry flavour, decent fruity and herbal hops, but not quite the complexity of the cask version. Still a great refreshment.
3.1 Pale golden colored, clear, small+ white head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is of malt, biscuit, citrus and lemongrass. Taste is medium- sweet malt, biscuit, lemon, lemongrassy medium- bitterness, dry finish and after, bit metallic. Light to medium bodied, soft+ carbonation.
3.0 Very similar to other Cairngorm beers in the range with golden colour and a clean pure white head. Light on the hops and clean but certainly nothing very challenging or memorable.
4.0 * Bottle. Pours cloudy golden, with a white head. * Aroma is floral, elderflower. * Palate is light body, medium carbonation, very fine bubbles. * Taste is clean, fresh, hop, fruit & citrus. * Finish is moist & refreshing.
3.3 Bottle BBE: 28 Dec 2015. Well-chilled. Pours a clear amber, with a moderate white head that’s patchy when receded. Bright aroma of lemon zest and elderflower. Quite bready/yeasty with a hint of butyric. Very light sweetness and a light-medium bitterness. Balanced yet interesting. Fullish body attributable to wheat content, giving a coarse texture. Lively on the tongue with a medium-length finish. Wheat is the star here in a sessionable ale that stands out from the crowd.
3.3 Bottle from tesco. Very little head. Golden orange colour. Nice hoppy aroma and taste.
3.1 Bottle from Croydon Whistle Stop. It pours clear golden with a thick white head. The nose is big floral notes, sweet elderflower and candied citrus. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, smooth, elderflower cordial, citrus peel and toasty grain with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Smooth and easy drinking. No complaints here.
3.6 Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - green stalky plus lemon/lime zest. A bit floral. Taste - more lemon and lime zest with a light malty backdrop. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - nice balanced session ale.
3.3 500ml bottle shared with AshtonMcCobb. Aromas of lemon, light malt. Taste is floral hop bitter, more citrus, light malt. Better than I was expecting to be honest!
2.8 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, floral, malt. Flavour is fruit, citrus, floral, malt, hop. Medium body. Ordinary beer.
2.7 500 ml bottle. Clear pale golden body with a medium sized white head. Rather weak in aroma with some citric fruit and a floral touch. Flavor is light, soft, pale malt, slightly citric fruity, hint of flowers and light bitterness. Medium body and short in aftertaste. Drinkable, no faults but rather palin and one-dimensional. One of these beers that make me bored before finishing the bottle and decides to open something else meanwhile and then finishing it later just to have it done whiteout pouring an expensive bottle down the drain. Still nothing really wrong with it.
3.3 28.12.2014. 0,5l Bottle. BB date in june 2014. Unclear pale golden colour with white head. Fresh summer hops with a soft lemon touch. Moderate bitter and with a soft body. Aftertaste is soft with a fresh dry tounge. Nice beer.
