3.6 Can kindly shared by Gurthnar, many thanks. Dark orange golden color with medium white head. Oranges, tangerines. Zest in aroma. Nice hoppy taste with oranges, tangerines, caramel malt. Medium long hoppy bitter.
3.9 Can from Drinkshop. Easy drinking with an interesting very piney hops character. Classic biscuity caramel maltiness, but only in the base. Tasty.
3.5 Sehr klassisch in seiner Art mit viel Hopfen und einer angenehmen Fruchtigkeit. Dabei trocken im Abgang, moderate Bitterkeit und ausgewogen in seiner ganzen Art. Nicht schlecht.
3.4 Can brought home from Eindhoven. The beer has got a hazy amber-golden colour with a small head and medium body. Aroma of hops, pine and exotic fruits. Taste of hops, pine, citrus fruits, cake, bread, mandarinas, flowers and herbs. Hoppy-mild bitter finish. Good one.
3.4 Can. Hazy golden body with a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grain, orange pith and pine. Flavour of honey, apricot and caramel. Thin body with a watery, slightly texture. Lively fizz. Nicely balanced but quite sweet.
3.6 Can. Bronze with a slightly sweet flavour but overall quite well balanced. Some hops but not enough to wrestle control from the other flavours. An easy to drink IPA. Nothing outstanding thought.
3.7 1/29/2009 4:09:03 PM Can from Cracked Kettle. Wow. Hazy orange body, with nice head. Hoppy and citrus nose. Nice hoppy taste with citrus and some grapefruit in the flavour. Very smooth and creamy. One of the best beers I’ve ever had out of a can. The other one was 10 Fidy.
3.1 Plechovka. Zlatá farba, biela pena. Vôňa sladová, jemne citrusová, mandarinková, chmeľová. Chuť sladká v začiatkoch, karamelové tóny, v pozadí jemne citrus a horká dochuť. Nižsia nasýtenosť. Osviežujúce.
3.0 Can, unreadable date. Pours sligthly hazy light coppar, quickly disapating white head. Pine and caramel aroma. Medium body, sweet start, bitter piney finish.
3.5 Clear, golden color with white head. Classic hop profile on the nose with some cracker notes as well. Taste is very well balanced. You can taste the malts at first and the finish is hoppy and bitter. Body is medium and smooth. A good and easy drinking pale ale.
3.7 35cl Can from Slijterij Meijer, Egmond a/Zee. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet bready malts, cake, icing, hops, citrus, caramel, grass. Flavour is medium sweet, caramel, icing, floral, malty, citrus and herbal hoppy bitter finish that builds and lingers. Light bodied. Nice.
3.6 Can from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden amber pour with a frothy white head, aroma has candied fruits along with some tropics in the form of pine and mango, taste has light pine and mango, some bitter grapefruit, decent carbs.
3.4 Yields an amber-copper color, with a froth, stable, white head. Smells of very distinct, cakey malts, mingled up with ripe oranges and a note of white lime zest. Unusual sweet on the nose, with almost more malts than hops, topped of by a whiff of melted caramel. Has a higher, lively carbonation, which adds a refreshing metallic note during the ending, enhancing the beers refreshing appearance. Despite that, the beer drinks still very smooth and pleasant. Tastes of freshed squeezed lime, blending into dough bread and sweet, ripe orange. Orange turns more prominent during drinking, enhanced by toffee and more bready malts, tied together by honey, until a hoppy bitterness kicks in, adding a lime defined dryness to the palate. This dry aspect grows stronger during the finish, replacing a good part of the bitterness, while bready malts remain visible on the palate. Nice and refreshing, while a tad too malty to let the hops stand out from the overall taste.
3.2 12 oz. can, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out perfumey floral notes and wheaty notes. Flavour is fresh, with wheaty notes, floral hops, and light citrus. Nothing special, but clean and refreshing. Solid stuff.
3.3 Can - Caramel and breads malts. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light spicy notes, caramel and a light bitterness. Decent.
3.6 Can. Pours is clear orange with medium white head. Fruity aroma , orange, grapefruit, light pine. Taste is citric fresh, light sweetnes followed by light bittery. Medium body, creamy texutre, light bitter finish.
3.6 35.5cl can, served in Shaker glass. Hazy golden/orange colour with medium white frothy head. Earthy hops along with caramel and fruity notes on the nose. The flavour is very herbal and piney to a lesser extent, quite surprising. The caramel and the fruits almost vanish, even though it is obvious that the malts play an important roll to achieve this effect. Nice dry finish. Medium body, good carbonation. A good atypical APA overall.
3.4 Canned. Pours hazy deep golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of citrus, flovery notes, a little pine and breaddy notes. Sweet flavor that ends up dry and decent bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A nice APA. 🌟🌟🌟
3.6 6-pack in cans. This is a wonderful APA, with a nice malt backbone (a touch of Munich) and flavorful hops. Cascades aren’t the only hop - there’s a bit of pine and a slightly bitter ending. All told, quite good.
3.6 Pours deep gold to light Amber with a large, creamy, off white head with good retention. Slightly opaque. Sweet, toasty, caramel malt notes up front give way to slight spicy herbal esters and fruity (orange and pear?) and herbal notes. Malt dominates the initial swig but crisp, herbal hops balance out with a pleasantly dry, slightly astringent aftertaste. Fruity hops linger. Moderate carbonation and a moderate to light mouthfeel with an almost watery finish, which is my sole and mild criticism: mouthfeel is a bit lacking. This is a classic example of a great APA, highly recommend.
3.4 Can from Ezo Beer served in a shaker pint. It pours a light copper with a dense head of foam. The nose is herbal hobs, parsley, dank, resinous and a bit of sweet caramel malts. The taste is lightly bitter piney/herbal hops with enough malt sweetness to deliver a well balanced pale ale. Satisfying.
3.3 355 ml can. Pours a copper amber colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of sweet toffee, bread and citrus. Flavour is rather sweet with toffee, herbal bitterness, citrus and mango jam. Medium bodied and quite soft carbonation. Probably not as fresh as it should be.
2.7 Can. Pours a cloudy orange with thick white head. The aroma is bready malt and grain. Thin mouth, honey malt, toast, crisp finish, decent.
3.4 12oz can from tj’s Medford. Orange color w/fat white head. Dominant hop aroma followed by malty medium mouthfeel, then a solid hop bitterness. Good beer.
2.7 355 ml can from Les Vignerons. Dark gold, perfectly clear, with a huge, fluffy, forever lasting off white head. Looks great. On the nose soapy/old hop notes, crystal and pale malts, light graininess, a hint of resinous pine needles and bubblegum. Rather big astringency, slightly harsh bitterness, way more malty than hoppy. Subtle fruity reminiscence in the aftertaste, but it’s all about the malts presence. Average to lively carbonation, light to medium body, creamy texture. I’m sure this is way better fresh, but in these conditions it’s barely drinkable.
4.0 Golden shiny body and very stable head. Good stuff, hoppy, super fresh. Light drinkable palate yet quite bitter, just how I like it. Typical American fermentation. Good stuff! (33cl can from Beer City)
