3.5 Very dark brown, small light tan head. Chocolate and roast aroma. Roasted flavour, sweetish with light choc and caramel notes. Light hoppy bitterness.

3.4 Can @Trolden Ølfestival. Pours deep opaque black with a small, staying creamy beige head. Aroma has nice soft roasted malts, chocolate, licorice. Low carbonation, fine dry and fairly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet malts, chocolate, a touch of coffee, licorice. Quite elegant.

3.9 Pours black with a stable, lasting off-white head. Roasty aroma of nuts, dark chocolate, coffee... Hint of vanilla(?). Some hops as well. Good. Mildly sweet flavor. Clear presence of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Bit of a buttery/milky beginning. Ends a bit dryish, but a soft salty and sweetish tone lingers long. Interesting. Thinnish, yet sticky texture. Medium bodied. Well-made brew with some interesting findings. Definitely one to order again sometimes.

2.8 Serving: from can--purchased at The Beer Junction. Aroma: light roast. Appearance: small, frothy, light-brown initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Clear, cola-brown body. Taste: lightly sweet initial flavor and lightly acidic finish with average duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: okay.

3.5 Sample at SBWF 2016. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, chocolate, light coffee and some ash. The body was medium as was the bitterness.

3.9 Medium frothy brownish head with good retention. Clear reddish dark brown colour. Aroma is prune, liquorice, black cocoa and coffee. Taste is roasted malt, prune, cocoa, coffee, vanilla with hoppy bitterness and slight diacetyl. Dry dark fruit finish. Medium creamy palate. Quite a tasty porter!

3.4 12 oz from can into shaker at bar in Oklahoma. Pours deep brown, nearly opaque. Dry roasty, slightly coffee. Medium dry body. Taste is sweet, roasty, a little chocolate.

3.0 Had it from a can. Nice dark color, with great taste. This beer has some nice personality, with a little bitterness.

3.6 0,33l blik bij het fust vandaan. Donker roodbruin met een crème kraag. Geur is cacao en soja. Smaak is in de zelfde lijn met donkere chocolade inclusief de cranberry die daar vaak in te proeven is. Medium vol mondgevoel met erg veel CO2 voor de stijl.

3.5 355 ml can. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malts with dark chocolate. Medium body. A little to much carbonation and I am missing the creamy texture a little bit. The taste starts moderately sweet with a very light bitterness coming in. Classic aroma of roasted malt - coffee and chocolate with some hints of fruits acidity.

4.0 Can from The Curfew, berwick-upon-tweed. Pours clear dark brown with a thick beige head. Aromas of toffee, light chocolate, something vaguely herbal. Coffee right at the back. Taste is fruity up front, crunchie bar, light roast. Creamy texture, beautifully balanced.

4.0 Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark olive brown to black. Nice head. Nose - toffee into molasses. Strawberry jam. Taste - more of the same. Luscious. Creamy chocolate and toffee. Toblerone - chocolate and nougat. Palate - medium bodied at least. Creamy texture and a long and balanced finish. Overall - lovely beer.

3.8 Can. Dark ruby-brown pour with a tall tan head. Roasted grains, cold brewed coffee, chocolate, licorice and some subtle green hop. Medium bodied and medium carbonation with a roasty bitter aftertaste.

3.7 Can. It pours opaque black with a creamy beige head. The aroma is chocolate, ash and bitter roasted malts. Light smoked character. The flavor is roast, ash, light coffee and chocolate. Bread notes as well. Some lacto feel. Pretty good.

3.8 Can into a pint glass. Pours black with a small tan head that fades away. Nose is faint aroma of chocolate and dark roast malt. Taste is dark roast malt and cocoa. Nice moderate bitterness on the finish. Well made and tasty. Classic porter.

3.6 Can into stout glass. Looks great - ruby dark almost black w thick head. Amina of chocolate malt w similar roasted chocolate taste. Decent. A touch thin but that is to be expected from something that is not a crazy strong imperial.

3.1 COD 9/9/15. Pours very dark brown but not quite black. World class head volume and retention, poor lacing. Very good nose of chocolate, light roast and caramel. Light medium body that is smooth, yet a bit thin. Light carbonation that is lacking and well below normal. The flavor profile is good. The taste follows the nose in terms of flavors, but lacks intensity and separation. Bitterness is very light as is the sweetness provided for balance. This is an average porter at best.

3.7 Canned 355ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized creamy beige head, roasty nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, cocoa powder, notes of alcohol and mild roasty finish. Simple and really nice.
