Im Antrunk steigen einen zuerst intensive Aromen von Kakao und Bitterschokolade in die Nase, während ein cremiger Cocktail aus Kaffee, Röstkastanien und frischem Bauernbrot den Gaumen umschmeichelt, bewahrt unser Imperial trotz der kraftvollen Art seine Fasson. Im Nachtrunk unerwartet weich, erstaunlich sanft und abgerundet mit einem dezenten einladenden hopfigen Abgang, lädt es zum weitertrinken an.

Bottle shared at Cafe Abseits during the Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Cheers! Pours moderately clear, dark brown with a foamy, beige head. Very good impy, with notes of cocoa, aged wood, light roast. Great balance. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with aged earthy bitterness, more cocoa, drying woodiness. Really nice one.
0.33l bottle at fra airport, thanks lufthansa for the voucher (6.20?). pours an opaque black with a creamy walnut head. aroma of roast, cake, berries, caramel, chocolate. flavour of blueberry pie, strong roast, licorice towards the finish.
Aus der Flasche getrunken (vorm Händler des Vertrauens erhalten). Tiefes Schwarz mit kaum vergehender hellbrauner Schaumkrone im Glas. Mächtiger, leicht malziger Körper, eine kaum vorhandene Hopfenlastigkeit stark in den Hintergrund drängend.
Pechschwarz mit hellbrauner Schaumkrone zeigt sich das Stout im Glas. Das Röstmal bestmmt den Geruch des Bieres und entfaltet die typischen Aromen von dunkler Schokolade und Kaffee ohne eine Aromabombe zu sein. So zeigen sich die Aomen auch recht zurückhaltend im Geschmack - zumindest für ein Imperial Stout. Das Röstmalz leitet geschmacklich den leicht bitteren Abgang ein.
Gutes Bier, aber etwas kraftlos für einen Vertreter dieser Gattung.

Monumentális, bézs színű, örökké tartó hab. Koromfekete szín. Enyhe, de kifinomult feketecsokis illatvilág. Iszonyúan finom, krémes, feketecsokis-kávés, kakaós, száraz, de egy icipicit édeskés ízvilág, pici fanyar lecsengéssel, érezhető, de nem tolakodó komlós keserűsséggel. Utóíze a korty folytatása, kissé felerősödő keserűvel. Zseniális sör, nagyszerűen eltalált egyensúllyal, komoly testtel.
Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken 30..04..2016. (r153). Lote 272 08 hasta 29..09..2016. Color negro con espuma beige. Aromas y sabores algo. tostados y con toques de cafés y cacaos con un cuerpo de 9.8 vol que no se nota mucho. Buena
W aromacie głównie akcenty likierowe z czekoladą, kojarzące się z nieułożonym Porterem Bałtyckim. Woń bardzo stonowana i "gładka". Piwo barwy czarnej z rubinowymi refleksami i bardzo "czystą" drobnopęcherzykową niską pianą. W smaku głównie mleczna czekolada trochę kakao i całkiem szlachetna alkoholowość. Piwo nie zapycha, lecz zakleja - dość oleiście "wchodzi". Do RISa mimo wszystko mu trochę brakuje, lecz jest to naprawdę smaczne piwo.

Pint on tap @ Homo Sibaris, served in English Pint glass. Black colour with tan head. Taste is roasted malts, chocolate, licorice and coffee. The flavour has quite a lot of caramel and some cookie flavour as well. Moderate bitter finish with sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium, carbonation is ok. Good.
Good sweet aroma of chocolate, dried dark fruits, caramael, light roastines. It’s smell like a imperial porter. Light sweet taste, little too much sourness, light to medium body, long lasting bitterness/ ashy finish. It taste more like FES to light mouthfeel to Imperial stout.

Black color with beige head. Aroma is dry roasted malts. Taste is a bit lacto, roasted malts, fresh, high but fine-bubbled carbonation. Good, but not soo good.
Black color with a light beige head with medium duration. Aroma has notes of roasted malts, some coffee beans and sweet licorice. Flavor is smoky, some vanilla and black chocolate. Final is roasty, creamy mouthfeel with mild bitterness.

Kolor: Czarny jak tytułowa perła.
Zupełnie nic się przez jego warstwę nie przebija.
Piana: Bez zarzutów. Nie można się kompletnie do niczego tutaj przyczepić. Jest beżowa, budyniowata, gęsta, wysoka. Oczka mają praktycznie każdą strukturę: od małych , przez średnie, a na dużych skończywszy. Piana przez nieskończony czas się utrzymuje, a gdy już opadni, pięknie barwi ścianki.
Zapach: Bardzo ulotny i mało wyrazisty. Czuć palone słody, szczyptę czekolady i kakao.
W tle miniamalna alkoholowa nuta.
Zapach jest tak delikatny, że ciężko w ogóle coś więcej wywąchać.
Smak: Wiele pozytywnych opini słyszałem o tym stoucie, ale albo ja w to nie wierzę co trzymam w ręku, albo ta warka jest taka.
Piwo ma konsystencję wody.
Narzekamy na nasze rodzime Imperialne Stouty, a tu proszę kultowa Camba i mamy podobną historię.
Pierwszy lepszy nawet polski FES ma gęstszą fakturę.
W smaku szczerze powiedziawszy też spodziewałem się, że więcej się tutaj będzie działo.
Tymczasem to co mogę tutaj odnaleźć to spora paloność, kawa, trochę gorzkiej czekolady i przypalony karmel.
Goryczka średnia, nieco zalegająca. Finisz długi i bardzo wytrawny.
Brakuje wyraźnie ciała. Wysycenie jest niskie dlatego pijalność wzrasta, ale wciąż smakuje to piwo jak woda z dodatkiem ciemnych słodów.
Na domiar złego to niemal 10% alkoholu solidnie miesza w głowie.
Wysycenie: Niskie.
Podsumowanie:
Bardzo duży zawód. Nie jest to z pewnością to czego się spodziewałem, tym bardziej to o czym słyszałem.
Piwo jest masakrycznie wodniste, płaskie w smaku i w aromacie. Poza palonością, tanią kawą i szczyptą najtańszej czekolady z Biedronki nic tutaj nie ma.
Alkohol wali po głowie z prędkością pociągu ekspresowego jadącego z Truchtlaching do Sosnowca.
Nie ma się co nad tym piwem rozczulać. Na tle innych trunków z tego browaru, które piłem dotychczas wypada naprawdę kiepsko.
Trzeba się szybko ockąć i w mgnieniu oka zapomnieć o tym "pseudo-RIS-ie".
Bottle @ Budapest. APPEARANCE: black beer, nice stable beige head. NOSE: some coffee, molasses, mocha, some alcohol, syrup. TASTE: molasses, suryppy, chocolate, quite some coffee aftertaste. Too much alcohol and less taste.

Black color, big dark brown head. Malty, fruity, chocolate, toffee, sweet scent. Roasted, sweet, malty taste. Sweet, toffee aftertaste. Full big mouthfeel, medium low to medium bitterness.

0,33l fles gedeeld met bryanvdv. Donker bruin met een crème schuimkraag. Geur is cacao en likeur. Smaak Is mooi bitterzoet biscuit en chocolade. Niet verkeerd.
Black body, one finger of brownish head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, ashes, dried fruits notes, chocolate notes. Different malt flavours, dark caramel, coffee, dried fruits, alcohol fusel, chocolate notes, feels spicy (hot) at the end, no idea why. Medium warm finish, coffee, still slightly hot... Medium body, low carbo. Not bad, alcohol is a bit too forward and the body is too thin.
Bottle at home. Black colour with a small brown head. Nose is roasted malts, with some sourness. Taste is also roasted coffee and caramel. The best from the 3 camba beers that I’ve tried.
Bottle. Opaque black color with tanned head. Aroma has roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and raisins. Taste is malty with quite long somewhat bitter and fruity aftertaste. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, ripe fruits. Quite nice and easy one.

Piana całkiem ładna, wysoka. Niestety szybciutko się dziurawi i opada. Z butelki czuć karmel i mocną paloność. Nawet przechodzi jakby lekko w wędzonkę. W smaku paloność. Bez większej głębi niestety. Ciała też troszkę brakuje. Alkohol na szczęście ładnie ukryty, lekko tylko grzeje w żołądku. Fajna, palona goryczka. Szybko pijalne, nic degustacyjnego. Ocena - 2.9
5/05/2018: Imperial Stout
Opcja wyleżakowana. Piana szybko ucieka. W aromacie trochę ciemnego chleba, gorzka czekolada, trochę czerwonych owoców. W smaku dalej sporo pumpernikla, lekka słodycz, ciało nawet spoko jak na niecałe 22 plato. Lekko kwaskowy od palonych słodów finisz poprawia pijalność. Nasycenie dość wysokie. W porządku.

Bottle from Craigs, dregs run tasting. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of burnt toast, coffee. Taste is coffee and chocolate. Bitter finish.
Bottle at craig’s. Pours black, nose is roasted, chocolate, sugary, taste is dry, roasted, chocolate, toffee.
Bottle from Bierzwerg, Greven. Pours pitch black with a huge creamy beige head. Aroma of caramel, weak roasted malts with liquorice and red fruits. Taste is moderate sweet, weak toasted caramel, liquorice and weak roast, creamy and oily mouthfeel, a bit on the sweeter side.
Very dark cloudy brown, decent waft of a head. Nose is soft dark berry, oaty and light woody booziness. Initial taste is soft minerally dark choc, smooth roast. Charred vanilla somewhere. Soft carbonation and polished mouthfeel.
