3.3 330ml bottle from Hopfen & Malz, Aachen. Pours a hazed amber, white head. Aroma is fruity orange, pine. Taste is dank and piney with some caramel and floral notes. Voted IPA of the year last year apparently. It’s nice, but perhaps a bit piney for me.
3.6 Bottle, 8.0%. Distinct elderflower aroma, a bit spicy as well. Girly, but smells good. Hazy golden colour, small bits floating in it. Big stable creamy white head. The flavour is teaish at first, tastes a lot like coriander. Very clean with a spicy finish. Tastes like NZ hops, but I guess it could be anything. Have not tasted any hop like this before.
3.7 Bottle. Pours hazy amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear atoma of hops and needles, with malty and estery notes and touches of fruit. Bitter flavour of hops and needles, with malty and estery notes and citric touches. Fruity hints, but not as sweet as one would expect in a beer of this style. Grassy and bitter aftertaste with estery hints. Refreshing and nice, despite the high ABV. My German rating #1000 :-)
3.6 Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of and shared with Luka. Pours cloudy orange, medium white head. Fruity, hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, caramel malty. Sweet with moderate dry bitter finish. Medium bodied.
3.7 Pours hazy pale Amber with medium white head. Nose is tropical fruits and . Aromas are tropical fruits, grapefruit and resinous pine. Average carbonation, medium body. Long bitter and fruity finish. Great stuff!
3.4 Tap@Cafe Langebro, Copenhagen (21/07/2016) - orange amber pour with with white head. Fruity and malty with sweet caramel malts, some tropical fruity notes of mango and grapefruit, some citrus tangerine coming in, hoppy bitter finish.
3.3 33cl bottle from Smagus Raugas, Vilnius. Pours clear golden with some floaties and a modest white head. Hoppy and moderate fruity aroma with some piney and citrusy notes, malt and caramel. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and bitterness. Possibly not too fresh, but fairly drinkable. Nice bitterness, but a bit to mild flavourwise also a tad to sweet for my taste.
3.1 Keg (Hop Doc, Kaunas) (6-:3:6-:3-:12-=3.1----) Amber, small tight head. Sweet fruity aroma, jammy sweetness. Taste also has a sweet malty focus, with some quite light fruity hops. Palate surprisingly thin and almost watery for a DIPA, and the carbonation’s a bit high. I don’t dislike it, but it leaves me a bit empty and unsatisfied. Finish does have a bitter bite, but it’s a bit harsh and chemical.
3.8 Pite w pubie Browariat w Katowicach.
3.4 0.33 l bottle from Pivoteka, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja, Višnja 666 and Goran. Thanks Višnja! Hazy orange, small off-white head. Light fruity, orange, zest, biscuit. Bitter kick, medium hopped. Full body, medium carbonation, light finish. A bit to light but nicely hopped.
3.6 Bottle. Dark orange white head. Malt and grapefruit aroma. Fruity hoppy bitterness, riped fruit sweetness
4.0 Hazy golden to orange, nice. Quite a clean fermentation, giving good way for fresh hops, American modern and orange aromas. Tasty decent bitterness from the start onwards, but really drinkable too actually. Carbonation is quite sharp actually, perhaps a touch too much. well done brew.Nice beer! (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
3.6 Tap. Heavy grain for the malt, moderate grapefruit for the hops, light soap for the yeast, with dried apricot in the background. Head is large, frothy, white with some slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately to heavily bitter. Palate is on the fuller side of medium, slick with a soft to lively carbonation. A pretty good IPA from a brewery deep in the heart of Bavaria.
3.2 On tap, Craft Room. Misty golden/orange body with a small white head. Dry malty aroma, apricot, herbal bitter notes,, perfumey but bit dry. Taste... Surprisingly midl taste, peach over excessively dry maltiness, medium bitterness, dominating over the other two notes. Allegedly not as good as it can be. Not the most pleasing cocktail of flavors here, but it has an interesting thing going on.
3.6 Pale golden color, white head. Aroma is lemony, hoppy and notes of grapefruit as well. Flavor has a decent bittermess, very fresh, citrusy with mild maltiness. Very enjoyable and fresh beer.
3.5 Bottle. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium thick foamy white head. Aroma of grapefruit and floral hops. Sweet taste with just some bitterness. Medium body. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
3.3 Tap (Hop Doc, Kaunas). Hazy amber color. Small size, white head, stays. Fruity, citrus, sweet and caramel in aroma. Sweet, malts, citrus, fruity and herbal hops in taste. Sweet, fruity and caramel in aftertaste. Hops are nice. Nice dry mouthfeel. Solid brew.
3.7 Dunkles gelb üppiger schaum, Geruch fruchtig kräuterig getrocknete aprikose, Geschmack fruchtig schwer trockenfrüchte aprikose getrocknete feige schön herb
3.6 0,33l Flasche. Viel Schaum. Schwerer Kräuterduft. Etwas cheese. Antrunk schön bitter. Dann getrocknete Aprikose und Hopfen. Langer Abgang. Süsse und dann Bitteraromen.
3.9 Közepes, nagyon sokáig kitartó habkorona, borostyán szín. Illata ipás, intenzív érett mandarin, a héjával együtt.
3.3 Bottle 0,33 l from Bier-Bienne (CH). Usual golden India without excess of bitterness and perfumed. Soft and bitter with grapefruit and salty edge lips. A bit roundness but without much originalty.
3.6 Bottle at home, golden orange beer, medium head. Aroma is citrus, malt. Taste is the same with grapefruit, some sweetness, hint of bitterness. Not bad.
3.7 Aroma: Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, tropical fruit, hops, citrus and grapefruit. Appearance: Hazy/turbid golden/amber beer with a medium white/off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, orange and tropical fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops, citrus and grapefruit. Overall: Though the aroma lost its character thanks to all the hops, this beer has such a complex flavour with a lot of ingredients.
3.5 Bottle. Orange color, hazy liquid, white head. Smell of candied fruit and cinnamon pie. Aroma of citrus and raisins. Taste is heavy sweet and only medium bitter. Good, but too sweet.
3.7 Bottled 330ml. -at Pivoteka Zagreb. Golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild hoppy nose. Moderate malty, fruity hoppy, slightly alcoholic and strong citrusy hoppy with pleasant bitter finish and aftertaste. Quite nice.
3.5 Leuchtendes Orange mit starker Trübung. Aromen von Orange und Pinien. Harzige Noten mit fruchtigen Anklängen. Deutlich nachhängende Bittere.
3.8 Unclear, golden-orange colored, medium off white head, good lasting and nice lacing. Aroma is of some mild caramel malt background and strong- hoppiness, tropical fruits and peach, citrus grapefruit, some floral notes. Taste is medium sweet caramel malt, medium to strong hoppy aroma, fruity, peach, grapefruit, light pine, medium bitterness, dry finish, lasting aftertaste, nice clear taste. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily-resiny. Maybe too light for a IIPA, but a very fine beer nontheless. (bottle, Pivoteka Zagreb)
