2.2 Can sample courtesy of Grumbo, many thanks Graham! Country #100. Yellow golden colour, white foamy head leaving some light lacing and aroma of malt, corn grain, molasses, honey, papery. Taste is sweet, malty, grainy, corn with some cardboard notes and light bitterness. Light bodied, foamy carbonation, tangy earthy light bitter finish. A bland lager.
2.0 Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Bottle, 33cL. 5%. Gift from Pascal ! Merci :) Home. A sparkling yellow clear beer with a medium white head ; few bubbles ; short retention ; ok lacing. Grainy notes, herbal note, water. Light sweet, medium dry refreshing. Light body, thin texture, soft gaseous, sweet dry short finish. Overall, disappointing.
2.0 6/10/2019. Can courtesy of Painy, cheers Martin! Pours clear gold with a white head. Aroma of corn, grain, sweet boiled jammy fruit and grass. Medium to heavy sweetness, very light bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet finish. Fair.
2.2 Can @ Slovak tasting 08/2019. Medium, white, quick diminishing head. Colour is gold, clear. Aroma is malty, caramel, bready, bit diacetyl. Taste is medium malty base, watery caramel, mineral, weak bitterness, medium carbonation, ok for country tick not for taste.
2.8 Bottle at a tasting. Quite clean, sweetish, corny, rather thin, characterless. Okay, drinkable on a beach.
2.2 Can, from my friend, many thanks. Golden color with small hit empty head. Aroma of malt, diacetyl, corn. Taste, corn, old malt, diacetyl, DMS.
2.0 Can at tasting, thanks Cuso. Malty aroma and taste, wet cardboard, light to medium bitter. Light to medium body, malty bitter finish. Not good.
2.2 County #122. Bottle at Slovak tasting 08/2019. Pours golden color, white head. Aroma of piss, malt. Taste is medium sweet, malty, caramel.
2.0 South East asian beer normally has to be drink cold otherwise it's too much bitter. White head. Clean.
1.9 Aromat dziwny, mokry papier. Smak ok, wodnisty, umiarkowanie słodkie. Goryczka bardzo dziwna, dosyć mocna, ale nieprzyjemna.
2.4 330ml bottle from a garage on the outskirts of Dinant in Belgium. More intriguing trying to find out why they had just one random bottle of Cambodian beer. Clear yellow plenty of rice notes. Not a tragedy.
2.6 6 pack from Fubonn Market (PDX). Was not as bad as I thought it would be. Bright, clear golden pour, big fluffy head. Smell and taste are grains, corn and only slight traces of vegetal notes. Feel is actually kind of creamy. Not too sweet either. First Cambodia tick.
1.4 Bottle pours out pale straw topped with a white head. Nose is wet newspaper corn and some grass. Taste is more of the sweet corn grain notes. Another country tick on the books.
1.0 Bottle. Deep golden color, pretty decent head at first, but it quickly goes away. This gives off a very sweet aroma, almost corny. It drinks fairly evenly, without any outstanding characteristics, just an easy drinking light lager, vaguely biscuity. (#7383, 5/2019)
1.5 Big bottle in Phenom Penh. Pale watery flavorless macro. Some hint of malt and soap. Ok when stinky hot
3.0 330ml rip top bottle drank on 29th March 2019. Clean and clear golden body with a fast fading white head. Light malty aroma and front to the taste, not much going on, but it's not offensive or nasty, just a typical South East Asian Lager; refreshing and produced for sweaty, sun filled afternoons on a beach.
1.2 Friend returned with this from CA trip. Pours distinctive light golden with a full, white head. Aroma is corn syrup and wet grass. Taste is corn syrup, moving to light funkiness. That's it. Typical pale lager...
2.3 Fles; gewoon weer zo'n lager; maar goed gekoeld smaakte hij best lekker, moet ik bekennen.
2.3 Considerable, white foamy head on pouring, especially if served ice cold and a pleasant golden appearance. The flavour is reasonably good with a slight hint of hops & grains while I can only liken the initial taste to that of unsweetened golden syrup or candy. Aftertaste bitterness is light and lingers for a while. The only real thing that lets this lager down is its aroma, which from a can was a tad sweet and chemically. Otherwise, a half decent warm weather beverage.
1.9 Can.clear golden colour with small off white head.Aroma of corn and malt thin body and watery mouthfeels.
2.2 Bottle from Total Wines in Huntingdon Beach. Light golden lager. Slightly skunky aroma. Taste of wet cardboard and corn syrup. No discernible hop flavour. Mildly refreshing and better flavour than some tropical lagers.
2.1 Oct 2019 Keg at Garden Village Siem Real, Cambodia. Soft inoffensive if a bit watery. Not the best. [1.9] Jan 2019. Can. Filtered. Gift from Zelie - brought back from Cambodia. Standard global lager. Low hops. Soft. Inoffensive. Drinkable. [2.5]
1.8 The foamstability is low, body light. It smells light malty. Taste is watery, malty weak. For a 0,50 cent tapbeer, i didnt expect any mord or less. For some hostel nights at 30°C.
2.3 Bottle at Pre-GBBF: Poured a golden with white head. No aroma really. Taste is grain a little cardboard.
2.6 Bottle from an asian supermarket in Munich. Grainy aromatics, light corn sweetness, bitter metallic herbal hops. Golden, low head. Light body, watery, fairly bitter, somewhat metallic and herbal on a light grainy base. Quick herbal finish.
1.6 At dinner in Siam Reap, Cambodia, no other choice, pour a clear golden color , small white head . Nose is flat. Sweet and grainy, but more drinkable than Cass. Finish is watery and grainy without any flavor. Another scrappy lager. Staff Score 3 / 10
2.0 0,65 l bottle. Common market lager but if 37C in outside and beer is icecold then its very refreshing.
2.2 Bottle. Clear golden color, thin white head. Lightly malty and maybe floral aroma. Dry taste, low bitterness. Slight touch of malt in the aftertaste. Medium carbonation, thin body. Not as bad as expected, still nothing very special.
2.7 Aroma is straw noble hops a little starch. Taste is nothing much. Also nothing bad I guess. Quite quaffable to be fair. Decent for a pale lager.
