Camden Town Camden Pale Ale (Keg)

Camden Town Camden Pale Ale (Keg)

Keg: Filtered - Regular

Ingredients: Pilsner, Wheat, Light Crystal, Munich malts; Perle, Simcoe, Citra hops

We love our American cousins, but sometimes they can be kind of full on. So we’ve crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

2.7 July 2021 - the day we waited over an hour and a half for lunch at Mettricks before asking for our money back. This was served on tap at that very same Mettricks. It's a drinkable, inoffensive and actually quite pleasant low abv APA. Lidl sell a cheap version called Down South Market Brew Pale Ale which is worth checking out. [2.7]
3.1 Really nice
4.3 Love the beers brewed by this brewery ,the pale ale is superb, an amber brew, hints of grapefruit and biscuits, a proper session beer,so tasty and refreshing and always served in excellent condition in Bier ( now called The Newington Temple) .
3.6 At the Cross Keys in Royal Wooton Bassett
3.5 Pours a deep gold, slightly cloudy, with a bubbly white head, and a citrus hop aroma. Has a really nice, zesty and crisp mouthfeel, with the citrus hops giving off a nice fruity taste before diving into a decent hop bitterness with a hint of fruit sweetness alongside
3.3 From the tap at the Forum in Jersey. Pours a dark amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus & malt. A mildly bitter finish. Enjoyable
3.1 Smooth, good balance, with a tip towards hops.i actually enjoyed it more when it's not overly cold, just chilled.
3.3 Pours an orange gold colour with an average sized mostly lasting fine white head. Aroma is malty, some caramel and citrus. Moderately sweet taste, pale malts and citrus flavours with a citrusy bitter finish.

3.7 Can from the supermarket. Clear amber beer with a tall white head. Fruity, floral hop aromas. Not the most intense but certainly there. Light resin. Citrus. Sweetmeal biscuit malt. White grape. Medium body with refreshing carbonation. Medium dry finish. Tasty stuff indeed.
4.7 Beautiful refreshing, zingy, citrus niceness. I love this alot. Nice head, just shame about the company I was with
3.5 Bière pression bue au Craft touch à Lille. Une pale ale très sympa, fraîche et aromatique mais qui ne sort pas non plus du lot.
3.4 (On tap) Clear Amber tiny white head. Subtle tangy aroma. Tangy fruity start, nice toffee malt, modest bitter finish. Light body good carbonation. Nice beer
2.2 Aromaless, just hints of wet socks. Taste is wet carton, bread. Yeasty finish. Medium body average carbonation oily texture
3.2 Draught at Atlas pub. Clear amber, medium head, high carbonation. Floral and grassy aroma. Taste of lime, medium bitterness.
3.6 Golden, almost clear, medium head. Apricot, peach, mango, sulphur and sewer in aroma. Rather crisp, sweety, medium carbonation. Low bitterness. (2.7) in 2019 This time was much better. No sulphur, no sewer. I enjoyed it.
3.0 London 5/7 2019. 44 cl draft at Huxleys in Heathrow Airport. Pours unclear yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin layer of foam which barely covers the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing. Moderately intense aroma. Fruity sweet with Peach and Pear. Very light citric overtones. Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft, lightly prickly, Smooth texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweetish undercurrent. Finish is semi-dry. Middle of the Road APA - a little thin but easily drinkable and fine with my slightly bizarre dish consisting of sausages and mashed potatoes.
3.7 Tap in London with the team in my new job, day one, 6th June 19. Pours amber, slight haze. Aroma is citrus, slight pine. Taste is clean, aromatic and citrus, some bitterness. Not bad actually.
3.4 Tap at the brewery. Light Amber color, clear, frothy white head. Citrusy hops upfront with intense mineral notes. Weakish on the maltsside, ok for the abv. Taste quite bitter, dusty texture. Light body and strong carbonation, super dry.
3.0 Ordentlich Frucht, leicht trocken, erfrischend, vielleicht ein wenig wässrig. Optisch aber einwandfrei, in der Nase Zitrus.
3.1 Keg at Leadbelly's, Canada Water. Amber gold colour, thin white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of citrusy hop, biscuity malt. Taste is malt caramel, biscuit, cardboard with citrusy hop resin bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy cardboardy bitter finish. Quite OK
3.1 Slightly hazy pale gold, persistent white head. Aroma of citrus fruit, nothing too distinctive. Refreshing rather than distinctive.
3.5 25 cl at Cafe Du Marche in Paris, France. The pale ale poured a clear gold color with a white foamy head and lacing. The best floral hop aroma so far in Paris. The taste has more hop bitterness. Easy to drink with Parisian food. You feel a hop bitterness in the upper mouth. The ale has a medium body with average carbonation. The finish was dry.
3.6 Golden with small beaded white head. Great spritz. Nice green aroma, palate well balanced with soft fruit and nice clean bitter finish! Subtle but I like it!
