3.2 500ml Bottle at home on 4th Nov 2015. Red hue to the deep amber body, on top a thin beige covering that tried to hang around in the UK pint sleeve the beer was poured into. Toffee esters filled my nose and the semi-sweet malt molasses theme carried on into the taste. My sweet tooth liked it although it is a little ’one dimensional’ flavour wise as the malts overpower the hop content somewhat in all aspects.
3.0 Bottle. Pours a clear ruby amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma of fudge, toasty malts, some dark fruits, a little whiskey and slight spicy hops. Taste of sweet toffee, plum, toasty malt, some liquorice and brown sugar. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A smooth, malty finish. Smells lovely but the taste is standard, slightly better on cask.
2.8 500ml bottle from Morrisons, Preston. Pours clear ruby red, thin beige head. Aromas of highland toffee, fudge, malt. Tate is malt sweet at first, then more creamy toffee, then a slight astringent note. Probably better on cask.
2.9 Bottle from morrisons. Ruby beer with no head. Aroma of caramel and faint red berries. Taste is caramel, malts and some fruit. Ok beer I suppose.

3.4 Bottle: Past BB: Served in a shaker glass: Medium to smaller creamy beige foamy head on top of a clear ruby red colored beer. Aromas of malts, wood, caramel, herbs, some old wood, some prunes and a sprinkle of something chalky. Flavours of malts, caramel, coffee, mocha, bitters, malt toast, prunes, some hay toast and some oat. Aftertaste os bitter, herbal, plant wood and some hay toast. Low carbo, mouthfeel between creamy and watery, medium bodied and a light creamy texture. Wonder what the aging did, nice beer though!
2.8 500ml bottle. Clear ruby brown amber colour, foam tan head that diminishes and fruity & malty aroma. Taste is tangy sweet malt with fruity, roasted and nutty notes, some bitterness and residual sweetness that lingers in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. OK bitter.
2.5 Blackfriar, Blackfriars 6 Nov 12. Dyp rubinrød. Lavt kremaktig skum som varer en stund. Litt setter seg fast på glasset. Bra karamellaroma. Smaken vassen. Tilløp til litt røstet malt i ettersmaken. Under pari.
2.9 rød brun øl som primært smager af malt og sødme. meget smag for en øl med lav alkoholprocent. næsten ingen skum.
4.3 4.0% ruby red colour with a very good head, fruity malt aroma, fruity caramel bitter taste. My hometown beer, you love it or hate it, I love it.
2.7 Dark copper with heavy head. Sweet., malty aroma with oak, honey and birch notes. Rather sweet flavor with a birch and honey as well as a bit of hoppy bitternes.
2.9 A clear, dark amber colored beer, with a thick beige head. The aroma of fruits with caramel malts. The taste is dry, bitter with fruits and caramel. The aftertaste is sweet with bitter.
1.8 As red liquid as beer can be. Smell is dubious, has this bottle gone off? Taste seems to indicate that all is more or less fine. But hold on, the main taste is tee. This is quite unusual. Bitter after taste is nice, but after all it’s also one more non-linear aspect in this experience. To be honest this sort of complexity is not what I am looking for.
3.2 Bottle at the courtesy of Nick. High fluffy and long lasting off-white head leaving nice long lacings. Clear dark brown body. Sweet malty nut dried fruuit aroma and flavor. Low carbonation. Long sweet aftertaste. Impressive body for such a low alcohol beer.

3.2 Bottle. Thin off white head. Clear mahoghany body. Malty, with a hop undernote. Fruits, nuts, bread, apple, caramel, burnt toffee and iron combine to compliment the aroma nicely. Notes of bitterness and sweetness to the taste. A very warming brew, despite its fairly modest strength. Gratifying dry finish. A classic North-East bitter.
3.8 Bottle. Strong toffee malt aroma. Clear brown color with minimal head. Sweet toffee malt flavor with a hint of hops. Smooth easy drinking beer.

3.2 Bottle, bought @ Vinspecialisten, Kolding Storcenter. Pours lovely deep ruby red with a medium, frothy, off-white head. Fat caramel malt aroma, light flowery, some roasted notes. Medium carbonation, fine dryish mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, caramel, light pepper, chcolate and lightly roasted. Quite drinkable.
2.8 Poured from the bottle into a pint glass to drink. The beer had a murky red-brown color, was somewhat cloudy and had a very faint off-white head that was almost immediately gone and had very little cling. Its aroma featured caramel malt, a bit of spice and maybe brown sugar, and some light grainy hops. The flavor was sweet and malty with a light caramel note, but also had a heavy bitter component. On the palate the beer was also somewhat watery and had a light, unexciting mouthfeel with low carbonation. I was not too excited with this beer, only average.
3.1 Foamy head has a biege tinge a reddish brown pour, aroma nutty caramel honey, flavour honey caramel a nutty taste, sweet and bitter areas not strong but smooth, grassy note, finish good hop and malt mix easy going on the palate.
3.0 Colour looks alright, clear, ruby red body with short lasting head. Sweet aroma, caramel and a hint of spice. Toffee in the taste, vague hints of smoke, smooth mouthfeel with a medium body. Not too bad a beer.
