3.8 Tap @1420 as Magic Lambic. Cloudy red, small pink head. Funky raspberry aroma, light vanilla. Sour raspberry flavour, slightly rough finish. Nice
3.6 SWANZE at Birreria. Infant pee in odor and somewhat in taste. Vanilla covers up. Better when warm but still in finish.
4.5 Intense vanilla, raspberry, malt, vinegar, and light hay aroma. Cloudy ruby red with minimal head. Lightly sweet vanilla, raspberry, malt, moderately sour vinegar and Brett, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Smells like it is going to be very sweet but then is pretty dry. A work of art.
4.0 Vintage 2013 Aroma is very funky with raspberry, vanilla, almond, sour apples Dark red colour with small head Taste is very mild and balanced, raspberry, vanilla, cherries, and mild almond Smooth mouthfeel with very low carbonation Really good but taste is too mild Tasted at zwanze 2021

4.4 As Cantillon Magic Lambic, from tap at Wild Festival. Appearance: raspberry red with quite a big pinkish head. Aroma: funky, brett, raspberry upfront, cassis followed by vanilla, licor 43. Taste: moderate sweetness, low bitterness, medium tartness. Palate: medium bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation and not that dry in the finish. Overall: definitely a magic lambic. Lovely combination. Nice and funky too.
4.5 Ruby red color with a small white head that left light lacing on the glass. Juicy raspberries, blueberries, vanilla balancing out the signature sour finish.
4.8 750ml bottle as 'Magic Lambic' - 2020 vintage. Poured a purplish color with a smaller sized purple head. This was nice, soft yet very complex ... raspberries, blueberries, vanilla, and tart cherries. Amaze balls ...
4.5 Sour-raspberry pips nose. Taste is tart, dry, decent raspbertys with a sour refreshing finish

4.5 Zwanze Day im Mon Petit!
Kwaśne, bardziej ocet niż stajennia, a jednocześnie słodkie. W tle delikatna wanilia.
4.5 Wypite lane 0,33 litra, zakupione w Browariacie w Katowicach. Barwa intensywnie różowo-czerwona, lekko zmętniona. Piana jasno-różowa, wysoka i trwała, zostawia odrobinę śladów na szkle. Aromat intensywnie owocowy, mocno słodki, cukierkowy. Dużo wiśni, wanilii. W smaku wyraźna owocowa kwasność. Niska goryczka.
4.3 ( on tap) Aroma: raspberries, blueberries, vanilla. Taste: semi-sweet, flavour of raspberries, vanilla, cherries and wild notes. Palate: medium body, smooth, medium carbonation. Overall: Yummy !
4.2 750 ml to stemless wine glass, shared with the Mrs (2018 Magic Lambic). Looks good; a translucent lighter raspberry with eggshell head that steadily dissipates into thin lacing. Smells good too; raspberry-forward followed by some citrus, funk, blueberry, and oak (in that order). Tastes like it smells with a pleasantly tart and citric medium-bodied mouthfeel. Delicious.
4.3 From tap at Foeders, Amsterdam. As "Cantillon Magic Lambic". Aroma is vanilla upfront with tons of red and dark tart fruits, earthy manure funk, raspberries and blueberries. Deliciously fruity and funky, bit sweetish with a big tartness. Medium sour. Great!
3.9 W aromacie jagody, wanilia, wiśnia. W smaku cierpkie, słodkie, na finiszu wyczuwalna wanilia.
3.8 I Draught Served as B Cantillon Magic Lambic /B /I Small pink rim over hazy, deep-red beer. Rainwater, red fruit, musk, not very intensive nose. Vanilla, with a truckload of lemon, almost like a citric soft fruitdrink. Raspberry retronasal and in the finish. Serious acidthinning and some -burn; dry-out effect, low carbonation. Not the best of the Zwanze offerings - but objectively, a great beer.
4.5 On tap am Zwanze Day! Cantillon Magic Batch 2. Rotes Bier, feiner Rosa Schaum. Kräftige Vanillearomen. Dazu säuerliche Himbeere. Antrunk Vanille und Holzfass. Vergorene Himbeeren. Die Vanille schwebt über allem. Klasse. Auch als B3. Deutlich fruchtbetonter. Hier kann sich die Himbeere besser durchsetzen. On tap @ 8th birthday MPC. Version 2021. in der Nase dominiert die Himbeere. Fein säuerlicher Antrunk. Himbeere und dann sehr viel Vanille! Würzige Schote im Abgang. Wieder mal ein Träumchen!
3.9 Superbly balanced with a good dose of vanilla. Full chewy sweet body, but not pulpy. Clean crisp and super drinkable. Beyond Beer Hamburg
4.2 Pours a deep, ruby red coloration with a medium, frothy, pink head. Smell is dominated by an aroma of fresh, tart raspberries, along with lighter blueberry and just a hint of vanilla. Taste is a great balance of quite vibrant tart raspberry and sweeter blueberry and vanilla notes, balanced against a good acidity, but lacking any estery notes and only hints of leathery, blue cheese funk and oak coming through. Finishes with a light tartness and some raspberry, blueberry and vanilla lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, velvety mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation. This is a very fruity, easy-drinking and rather refreshing Fruit Lambic that lacks any distinct yeast esters, funk or oak notes though, although minor hints of funk and oak do come through while the more estery notes seem completely drowned out in the onslaught of raspberry, blueberry and vanilla here, with a rather nice balance of sweetness and tartness though, all in all, although it may be just a tad on the sweet side. So this is quite different from Cantillon's usual fare, lacking in complexity and depth of character, but making up for that with some incredibly fresh and vibrant fruit notes and sublime drinkability. I had this on tap sitting outside on a hot summer evening along with Saint Lamvinus and while I do think that Saint Lamvinus is the superior beer, I had 4 glasses of Magic Lambic and could have drunk that all night, while the Saint Lamvinus was already starting to get too heavy for the occassion after the second glass. Also has got a fantastic, soft and velvety mouthfeel to it. Vintage 2019 (I think...)
3.5 Keg. Deep ruby color. Raspberry, blueberries, black currant, acidic, fruity, juicy, bit salty, dry, cinnamon bark in aroma/taste.
3.8 Pink with a white head - Tart berry aroma - Tart berry flavour with some wood flavours - The tart berry flavour with wood goes into the finish - This was good
4.4 Bottle, 750 ml at Cantillon, shared with Tomislav. Deep red to ruby with white pinkish head. Fruity, intensive raspberries, some cherries, funk, vanilla, sour, dry. Medium sourness, light sweetness. Medium bodied.
4.1 750 ml bottle at Biercafe Au Trappiste, Bern. Pours a hazy wine red with a pinkish-white head. The aroma is fruity - red fruits, lots of cherries, vanilla, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, some leather, wood - very nice and balanced smell. Medium body with an average carbonation, a medium acidity and a light to medium tartness. The flavor is similar to the smell and starts with lightly acidic red fruits, tart cherries, wood, ripe raspberries, black currant and some leathery funk. Finishes with residual sourness, quiet some fruity tartness and wood. Aroma: 9 Appearance: 4 Taste: 8 Palate: 3 Overall: 17
