3.7 0,25l from tap at Moeder Lambic shared by Saeoglopur, big thanks. Bourdeaux like colour, small white head. Smells of marzipan, grassy, nutty, cherries, sour cherries, very lightly musty. Very nice smell. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes of marzipan, bit musty, earthy, grassy, cherries, sour cherry juice, spices. Finishes dry and lightly sour with notes of marzipan, cherries and spicy notes. Lovely smell, taste didn't work that well, more marzipan than any kind of cherries..
4.2 Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Deep red, hazy body, with a small, pinkish head. Aroma with lots of sweet, slightly tart cherries, cheese, horse blanket, slight citrus. Tastes very lovely, with similar aromas, while the cherries are beautifully showcased. Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation. Finishes medium dry, medium sweet, a bit funky, a bit musty, with lingering cherries. Very tasty! Quite straight, but really beautiful, with lovely, distinct cherries, especially in the taste. Just enough funk and dryness for a good depth. Perfectly balanced, very well drinkable Kriek. Score: 8 / 4 / 9 / 4 / 17
4.0 Cantillon kriek moeder cuvée : Deep unclear ruby, no head. Big sweet almost christmas like almondy sweetness from the cherries. Very sweet and fruity in aroma and taste. Christmas spices almost along with the sweet fruit. This is a wild one.

4.4 A 250ml pour from the cask at Moeder Lambic Fontainas into a Cantillon Gueuze glass. It was a hazy dark ruby red colour with an almost two finger frothy pink head that had pretty good retention and left some lacing. Aromas of cherry, almond and marzipan. Tastes sour, tart, cherry, almond, marzipan and a touch of lime. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall very refreshing and just so easy to drink.

4.2 Draft at Moeder Lambic (fontainas), cuvée Moeder version. Pours red with a frothy head. Very sour with loads of cherries in the nose, not that sweet. Sweeter mouthfeel, acidic. Flavour is intensely sour, a lot of cherries, low-medium sweetness. Finishes with an intense cherry aftertaste.
4.5 Draft at Moeder Lambic fontainas. Pours deep red. Nose is cherry, raspberry, strawberry. Palate is intensely fruity, just a hint of sourness (this is basically all sweet and fruity compared to the framboise I had yesterday), cherry jam, berries. I’m glad I came back to try this, probably my favourite Kriek I’ve had. Very drinkable, very refreshing, very fruity, I can’t get enough!

4.0 Cask at Moeder Fontainas. Clear deep red with big fluffy bright pink head. Looks amazing! Lots of tart cherries, light hay and grass, soft funk, light dough and grains. Under medium sweet and sour. Under medium bodied with barely any carbonation. Not as god as the regular kriek but pretty good overall.

Aroma is fruity, nutty and light funky with juicy cherries, almond, a touch of wet leaves and yoghurt. Taste is light sour, fruity, soft funky. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Nice, möts of cherries, both sweet and juicy and tart skins, quite distinct almond note as well.
4.0 On tap at Moeder Lambic Fonrainas. Hazy bright red with a tall pink head with surprisingly good retention. Notes of cherries, bitter cherries, almonds, lambic funk, mild acidity. Lighter in body than the normal kriek and feeling a bit more fresh.
4.0 From notes. On draft at Moeder Lambic – Original on November 11. The pour is a bright ruby color with a huge light pink head and a couple soapy traces of lace. The aroma is surprisingly funky. There is a good fruit skin to it, but the tartness really isn’t there. It’s strong on the funk, per the usual for Cantillon. The flavor is fantastic. It’s like tart cherry pie filling. There is a light funk, but the tart cherries are huge. The skin is nice, and there is a solid oak to it as well. The mouth feel is light and crisp with a bright carbonation with a lingeringly tart cherry with a bit of funk. I like this a lot!
4.3 Brilliant red with a very nice cherry nose. Assertive, but not so much as to put it out of balance. Better than the standard kriek...both fruitier and funkier, and a touch short of the Lou Pepe (an all-time favorite).
4.1 Draft - pours pink with pinkish white head - nose/taste of cherry pie, horsey cherry tinged hay and oaky funk - medium body
