Prost!
4.6Had at Akkurat, Stockholm from tap. Cantillon always perform well no matter if it's on tap or bottle. Easy drinkin' Lambic. Slight carbonation. Pure golden perfection.
4.2Pours a clear, deep rose coloration with a small, fizzy head that rapidly fades away and slightly visible carbonation. Smells of light doughy malt and a distinct rhubarb aroma, as well es some estery fruit notes of apple and apricot, with just a hint of funk and oak. Taste is a great balance of light doughy malt, a distinct tart rhubarb presence, some estery fruit, with notes of green apple, apricot and gooseberry, as well as just the merest hint of earthy funk and oak, with a good underlying acidity. Finishes with a medium acidity and some rhubarb and light funk lingering in the aftertaste. Effervescent mouthfeel with a medium body and medium/strong carbonation.
This is a Lambic that is very much in the same vein as Fou Foune, meaning that the focus is very much on its vibrant fruitiness rather than a deep complexity or rich funk. Which is fine, of course, although it's not quite as expressive as Fou Foune, being only 3 months older. Then again, I really think that Fruit Lambic like this should ideally be enjoyed as fresh as possible to really enjoy the fruitiness to its full extent. There still is a very nice, tart rhubarb presence to this, which is complemented by some fruity esters and a good, medium lactic/citric acidity that borders on being just a touch too intense though, while the funk and oak really are minimal, really more of some fleeting accents that fight a losing battle against the acidity. Overall, a quite enjoyable Fruit Lambic with distinct fruity, tart and acidic notes, but little funk or complexity, while its aroma and mouthfeel are both sublime. Really something that's more suited to the summertime than winter, much like Fou' Foune. (Vintage 2020, 6 months old)

3.9They don’t disappoint, really wonderful lambic sourness. Touch of fruit, but perfectly balanced. Still better than anyone else. Omnipollos Hamburg
4.22019 version, bottle says 5.5%ABV. Stunning rosy amber with a white head that never disappears. Aroma is woody with rhubarb which seems a bit green at first then is fruitier (and seems baked rather than stewed). Underneath is old lemon, the laundry, vanilla. A sip reveals the full breadth of rhubarb - rich and jammy, floral and almost rosy, astringent, a little of that weird metallic bitterness. Moderately sour and slightly slippery. Dry and oaky at the end. Evocative - doesn't knock you out with the "fruit"; invites you in. Lovely beer.
3.831Jan2020 Sour citrus fruits, lemon and lime juice, fresh rhubarb, dirty funk, sweat, skunk, rotting cheese. Hazy gold, medium, creamy, white head. Light to medium sour. Sour citrus fruits, lemon and lime juice, light acidity, soft carb, med bodied. Nice aroma. Draft at Moor Beer Co Vaults & Tap Room, London.

4.2Bottle@Lars - Pours golden orange with a white head. Tart fruity with prominent notes of rhubarb, tart fruity, medium body, light tartness, some floral and herbal accents, tart fruity lingering finish.
4.0Restrained funky aroma in a golden pour. Similarly laid back tart flavor balance is both subtle and complex - and made even better by the machinations required to create it this year.

3.420 Agosto 2018. From tercertiempocervezas. 2017 version. 75cl. In Teku glass. Playing Avernum 4. Didnt notice nothing special from the rubharb, just a well adjusted sourness that is affordable but fails to impress, specially given its high price tag. Avg 3.27 17 Dic 2019. Version de 2018. De tercertiempocervezas. En copa Teku. Compartida con Carlos, con pistacho. Recibiendo Hecatombe Sloths. Acidez bastante suave y asequible a cualquier paladar. Agradable pero sin nada que justifique su alto precio. La fruta (ruibarbo) no la noto
