3.0 Bottle - Pours a deep, clear copper/amber with a small, creamy, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of a sweet bread. Sweet malt flavors, low carbonation, and a clean finish. Interesting, but not my style.
2.5 Clean malty sweet honey aroma. Pours crystal clear copper amber with a thin quickly fading off white head. Earthy, malty, woody. Thin mouthfeel. Light bodied. A little bitter edge on the finish. Not bad.
3.2 A solid, malt emphasized lager, the firey hued richness perfectly balanced by clean hop bittering.
3.1 Pours a clear amber with a thinner, long lasting slightly off white head. The aroma is caramel, nuts, yeast, and hints of grapefruit and grassy hops. The taste has is a bit sweet with touches of tartness. Its contains caramel, nuts, bread, and some slight fruitiness. Aftertaste is a short caramel. Medium bodied, slick in texture, and average in carbonation. For some reason, this one is clean and rather easy to drink. But overall, this is probably just your average amber.
3.5 Ice cold can at some random festival in Manitowoc WI. Was pleasantly surprised. Way better than Supper Club.
3.1 Pours a nice amber with an off-white head. Aroma is malty, but in a good way. This is a medium bodied beer with a surprisingly pleasant taste. It’s not too bitter and not too sweet. Goes down way too easy for an Amber Lager. The bar had it in bottles, and I’d never heard of it. It was surprisingly good.
4.0 Basically, a perfect amber lager. Done the way it should be. Nice roasty character, but balance by some pine notes on the finish. Very clean, easy drinking.
3.3 12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear amber with a decent beige head. Mild aroma of malt and caramel. Taste is malt, citrus, and caramel. Decent session type.
2.7 bottle. Amber with small head. Mild caramel malt. Very light hops, and thin flavor profile. Somewhat below average.
2.9 Tasted from bottle. Pours a clear amber with off white head that fades quickly. Aroma is sweet, caramel, grains, and a little perfume. Taste is a clean light bodied malt dominated beer. Caramel, bread, nutty flavors. Minimal bitterness. Sessionable beer that would be good on a hot day.
3.8 easy drinking amber. I will have to try to find more capital beers next time I go to madison. Good not great flavor, but overall an solid beer.
3.4 Pours clean medium amber. Small soapy white head. Aroma is moderately malty sweet, caramel, some grain, light fruitiness. Lighter side of medium body. Easy drinking. Sweet. Crisp opening. Creamy middle. Clean, bready, caramel malty sweet finish. Tasty, simple, Very drinkable.
3.5 Sweet malt, hops, a little hay. Taste is crisp and refreshing, a nice balance between malt and hops, a little citrusy.
3.4 Amber coloured body with a a copper glow at the bottom and a very thin half-centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of toasted malt, light sugar, very minimal hops and a nice fresh grain scent. Light-bodied; Nice fresh malt flavour with a good toasty flavour, some light wheat and a strong caramel and toffee finish. Aftertaste is mellow and subdued with only a little toffee and nutty flavours making things bitter, but the malt and light grain stays throughout. Overall, a nice light beer with some solid flavours and nothing bitter or offputting. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased on 30-December-2013 for US$2.39 from Corner Store (Bait and Tackle) in West Palm Beach, Florida sampled on New Year’s Day 2014 (January 1st) in my hotel room here in Clearwater, Florida.
2.6 12 oz bottle poured into nonic. Faint traces of orange in the aroma, but mostly dough smells. Appears clear amber with a light orange colored head which dissipates quickly. It’s comes on mostly sweet, but it’s a smooth sweet as opposed to overwhelming. It’s a medium body beer with strongest notes of citrus and malt, but finishes thin and caramel-sweet - couldn’t pick up too much of the hops. It has an average carbonation, but turns flat relatively quickly as it warms in the glass. Nothing lingers in the taste, and it finishes very clean. There’s nothing overly special or surprising about this beer. Nothing filling or offensive lends itself well to a session beer.
3.3 Bottle at random grill in Madison. Pours a reddish amber with an orange head. Aroma is heavy malty caramel with some light fruit. Taste is sweet caramel, some roughness, and some fruit. Medium bodied. Finishes sweetly biscuity caramelly, but not in a cloying fashion. Shrug? Not a top amber from not a top brewery. Would say "hit the style" however it is easy to name 10 better examples of the style.
3.6 Clear, deep amber pour with a frothy, 0ff-white head. The aroma is bready with light caramel. The light body has crisp texture with lively carbonation. The taste well-balanced and bittersweet with slightly more bitter finish.
3.3 A decent amber beer. Typically not a fan of ambers but this one is smooth. Malty and bitter it goes down smooth.
3.1 Can. Sweet bready caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a large creamy off-white head. Sweet earthy caramel malt flavor. Body on the light side of medium, moderate carbonation.
3.4 Can to glass. Clear amber color with medium carbonation. Mild malty, caramel sweetness--not overdone, with a pretty clean finish. Easy drinking.
3.3 Can. Sour milk and caramel malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Sweet caramel malt, hay and lightly bitter quinine flavor. Pretty good.
3.0 Light amber colored beer with a medium white head. Slight nose of doughy malt and not much else. Flavor has a mild caramel malt flavor initially that gives way to a bit of musky bitterness, but the sweetness lingers. Nicely carbonated, this is s drinkable beer.
3.2 Can: Clear, light amber with a frothy, light tan head. Toffee malt aroma. Toffee/caramel taste...a little toast. Light, creamy. Rather tasty.
2.9 Pours an auburn-amber color. Aroma is malty sweet but not a whole lot of depth aside from that. Maybe some caramel notes, but mostly maltose. Flavor is decent. Again, not really anything deep or complex. Slightly sweet. Faint caramel notes. Fairly drinkable.
2.9 10/1/2013. From can. Amber color with a foamy white head. Aromas of hops, malt, caramel. Somewhat mild but good on a warm day like today.
3.1 draft at The Bar in Appleton While watching the A&M v Alabama game I had some Wisconsin beer. The lager poured a clear amber color with a white head and lacing down the glass. The aroma was of caramel malts. This is a nicely balanced beer with some bitterness. The medium body lager had soft carbonation. A very drinkable brew while watching football.
2.5 Can to nonic. Clear and very light colored for an amber. Very mild caramel malt aroma. Mild and sessionable. Good canned beer.
3.5 Light and rereshing. Clean after taste, but a little weak on the full flavorness. Still nice though.
3.0 Simple but fairy enjoyable. Caramel malt flavor and nice sweetness. Fairly thin body.
3.2 Muy buena lager color ambar, poco carbonatada algo de lupulo, caramelo on un after taste agradable
