2.0 Lichtgeel helder bier.
2.5 Bottle. A- Corn. A- Gold color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Corn, mild sweetness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- A new country rate, that was the main priority here. Really inoffensive. Drinkable on a hot day.
4.0 Gold pour. Thin foam. Nutty flavor with sweet malt. Malty finish and a hint of nuttiness on the palate. Easy carbonation.
2.3 Old
Beetje zoetig. Gaat prima bij de pittige Indonesische hap.
5.0 Light beer, fit pretty good with caribbean style
0.7 Rating copied from Untappd. Bought at Total Wine & More in Fort Lauderdale and had on 28 dec 2016
1.7 0,33 litre Bottle, shared with Bergstaden. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, sweetness. Boring.
2.1 Bottle. Pours gold. Corn, violet, apricot, lemon, little metallic. Medium body. Bad.
2.2 Ochutnáno během velké ochutnávky piv 29. 12. 2020. Buď v plechovce, skleněné lahvi nebo PETce. Buď jsme ještě střízliví byli nebo ne, každopádně v seznamu ho mít chci. Jak bude čas tak kdyžtak něco dopíšu.
2.4 Old rating from 30/08/14 - a 250ml bottle friends brought me back from holiday. Pours a pale golden with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of grain, grass, hay & sweet malt. Mild carbonation. Mildly bitter sweet finish. Drinkable at home but much more enjoyable in T & T I expect!
2.0 330ml bottle from Beers of Europe (£1.79): Incredibly clear golden with a half centimetre, foamy white head that holds surprisingly well for a lager. Almost no aroma, maybe some hay & faint grassy notes but not much else. It's light tasting too, it's quite clean & basic with hay, grassy touches & very light skunky flavours to finish. Its very light bodied, fairly bland with very little taste or smell for the most part; pretty much what I'd expected though, it was a little less skunky at least.
2.0 Bottle, 5.0%. Clear golden, white head. Grainy, malty aroma. Medium bitter flavour, grain and cornflakes.
1.9 Bottle shared by Cuso, thanks. Malty aroma and taste, light oxidation, light sweet and bitter. Light to medium body, malty bitter sweet finish.
1.6 C: clear amber N: malty, nettle P: lots of malt, lightly floral, touch of honey
1.2 Bright clear golden, with some tiny flakes of who-knows-what floating in the bottle. Glucose syrup listed as an ingredient, and sold in a clear glass bottle, already doesn't bode well. Unfortunately, I poured it into a glass which apparently is not what this beer is made for. It lost most of its carbonation and really didn't fulfil it's promise of a refreshing drink with a Caribbean flair anymore. This is definitely one to be drunk ice-cold and directly from the bottle. Carib is extremely sweet, a sweetness that seems to stem mostly from the additives and not the barely malt. Even in the nose it smells more like honey than a malty beer. A little more intensity on the hops side could have nicely balanced this out and made it more refreshing. As it is, it's mostly sickly-sweet and stale, still drinkable but somehow misses the point, not refreshing at all. Maybe it's better from the can because I'm sure the clear glass does its part to destroy the flavours before the bottle is even opened.
2.3 Botella 330ml Color dorada,clarita,espuma blanca,fina,alta,resistente.Aroma malta,cereales,maiz,herbal.Sabor maltosa,maiz,herbal,ligero dulzor,una tipica lager de W.I.
2.4 330ml bottle from Asda BBE Sep/20. Pours pale gold white head which leaves lacing. Aroma of malt, grain and sugar. Moderate carbonation which dissipates to low if drank from a glass, its better on the palate straight from the bottle. Light body but not overly so for a pale lager, a little sweet and then a peppery dryness with minor bitterness which is interesting. Taste is cereal, sugar, light malts, a little citrus but all very mild. Decent drinkable lager with a reasonable finish just needs more flavour.
Aufdringliches Aroma: Getreide, Silo, leicht Zitrus, Malz. Zunächst kein Geschmack erkennbar, etwas Malz. Etwas Getreide. Leicht Muffig. Süße im Hintergrund.
2.2 Cloudy golden, nice carbonation, rapidly dissipating head. Nose is predominately corn, with some grassy hops. Flavor is similar, corn and grass.
2.0 Extremely light in colour. Slightly sweet smelling with, subtle corn flavour.
1.2 Thin white head on an amber still body. Grain & cereal aroma. Medium bodied, soft & lifeless. Cornflakes, sweet citrus, grain & peach tastes.
1.2 Clear watery Golden appearance. Aroma is malt and musty. Flavour is burnt toast, malt and musty.
2.1 Golden, frisch, wenig gehopft, etwas wässrig, Citrusnoten, gut gegen heiße Tage. In der Karibik gut trinkbar!
3.4 Pint at Pirates in Paradise in Sint Maarten. Smell some grain. Golden in color with a little white head. Draft. Smooth and tasty. Taste some grain and sweetness. Sweet at the end. Very enjoyable. Cheers!
