Danish: Carlsberg Elephant er en såkaldt ”Bockbier” og blev brygget for første gang i 1959. Den er vinøs og frugtig med smagsindtryk af æbler, melon, banan og karamel afbalanceret af en tør bitterhed. Du fornemmer også antydninger af egetræ, bark, nødder og fyrrenåle. Farven er lys gylden med hvidt skum.

Middle of the road high alcohol pilsener. Tastes a litlle bit as a spring-bock. Too high in alcohol to be refresshing but too little taste to enjoy life so only suitable to get drunk fast.
Bought this beer as this was on tap in a country pub many many Moons ago. Good white head; nice golden color, crystal clear. Lagery smell on the nose. Tasted exactly as it did all those years ago on tap I enjoyed it but would not buy another can for a while considering the quality of many beers around. Nice on a hot summers day, but too strong to be a session beer.
Gold pour, limited head. Nose is sweet. Middle is light kilned grains, wet cardboard, woody, a touch metallic. Finish is unbalanced with the ABV presence.

Heller Bock mit 7,5 % Alk. und angeblich 16 % Stammwürze. Damit handelt es sich um die Exportversion, das original in Dänemark erhältliche Bier kommt mit nur 7,2 % Alk.
Export ist auch allgemein das Stichwort bei diesem Bier. Der Geruch erinnert an ein frisch hopfiges Export, auch geschmacklich geht das stark in die Richtung. Man merkt aber schnell, dass das etwas malzig-süßer und deutlich gehaltvoller ist. Das Bier hat eine schöne Konsistenz. Der Hopfen spielt immer eine Rolle, fruchtige Nuancen lassen sich erahnen.
Mocny pilsnerek, goryczka mała ale w miarę przyjemne w swojej cenie.
It's okay. Definitely strong and beautiful looking. But I wouldn't buy it again.
Can@home, from Alko Stockmann, Tampere, Finland. Strong/medium, averagely balanced nuances of sweet malts and a hint of German hops that give some bitterness. Alcohol comes though a bit. Narrow taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with sweetish malts. Medium/light body with medium carbonation. Overall, sweet-like bulk product. 5 3 4 4 8
0,33l can from local alko. Only reason I got this was because it was in the fridge. Gluey lager with a bitter finish. Eh. Strong lagers are pretty meh.
Ja, das ist ein ganz schön plädderiches Bier, aber besser als das normale Carlsberg und weniger schlimm, als ich es erwartet hab. Ziemlich künstlich süß in der Nase, im Trunk süß, künstlich, Alkohol, aber irgendwas zeckt mich an, so dass ich es nicht fürchterlich finde.

AROMA: light to moderate malt, simple grain, some perfume and must, minimal alcohol, dough, light bread
APPEARANCE: honey yellow, not too light, not overly foamy but ok residual, decent looking
TASTE: ok malt, some caramel and grain, touch sweet not much bitterness, some spice mixed in with the fruit and grain (like a bowl of mueslix)
PALATE: medium body, mostly smooth and creamy, nice feel for a high ABV lager
OVERALL: not a great beer but not bad, surpassed my expectations. Fair amount of flavor and feel. Better then their standard beer.
12oz bottle from Consumers Beverage. Brassy colored pour, foamy head. Malty aroma, light vegetal notes. Malts dominate the taste also, slick feel. Way back in the day (1980ish), this one of the beers that introduced me to a style other than pale lager
When I grabbed this out of the fridge I was expecting a normal Carlsberg lager. Then I saw the 7.2%. Well, I thought, this might not be too bad. There is a malty flavour to this one but still has a thin watery taste. Finishing hops give it some flavour but nothing to write home about. As apart of a Xmas gift it gets checked off Untappd but wouldn’t actively seek out another.
Taste is awful but if you want to get drunk really fast without spending that much money this beer is for you
For 7.2 percent it is really smooth. If it was 4.0 instead, it wouldn't be that great of a beer
Puszka z informacją na etykiecie 7.5% ABV. Piana średnia, biała, zwarta, z drobnych i średnich pęcherzy, uległa redukcji do warstwy na powierzchni, nawet dość trwała. Kolor jasnego bursztynu, trunek klarowny i przejrzysty, spore nagazowanie. Aromat słodów, lekko owocowy, leciutko czuć chmiel, karmel, trawa, alkohol też. Smak spora goryczka, którą kontruje słodycz, trunek szczypie w podniebienie, czuć alkohol. Nie wiem czy sama opcja nawalenia jest tu wystarczająca, może jedynie cena, a no może i piana, poza tym poniżej średniej.
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear bright gold with a white quickly gone white head. Smells of malt and grass. Very sweet malt flavors. Some grassy notes balancing but not a good beer.
Eine helle Farbe mit einer sehr schönen cremigen und langlebigen Schaumkrone. Die bestecSchaumkrone die ich bisher gesehen habe. Malzig süßlicher Geruch, der sich auch im Geschmsck widerspiegelt. Sehr viel Malz auf der Zunge und eine Angenehme Süße. Vom Hopfen merkt man gar nichts. Es ist recht einfach zu trinken, aber schnell machen sich die 7,5 Prozent bemerkbar. Vorsichtig
Can. Clear yellow color, small white head. Lightly malty, floral grass aroma. Dry taste, medium bitter. Grassy, floral aftertaste. Medium carbonation, medium body.
330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, fluffy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally grainy, pale malty aroma, plain, bitter hoppy overtones with an oxidized touch (green bottle, do I have to say more?), a touch of banana, cereals. Taste is plain bitter hoppy (hints of oxidation again) and sweet-ish, grainy, minimally strawy, pale malty, hints of cereals, a touch of banana and alcohol. Most of us had experience with this in our youth, I guess - we just wanted to get drunk.

Strawy smell. There's something syrupy, oily in the taste which is disturbing. Strong carbonation.

330ml bottle at home. Clear dark gold with a thin white head. Sweet malt and bread with some grassy and honey notes. Low carb, light-medium body with a lingering sweet finish. The added alcohol helps, but still a little on the sweet side. Meh.

02.11.2019 -- 0.5l bottle from rewe in charlottenburg, bb 17.09.2020. pours a clear golden with a medium head. aroma of malts, corn, slight booze. flavour of malts. sweetish. drinkable when cold, alcohol is somewhat hidden.
