3.0 Bottled 750ml. -at Kiselo Druženje 2018. Unclear yellow coloured, small white head, mild yeasty and whiff of apricot in the nose. Quite sour and light yeasty with discreet touch of apricot. Too old or generally lack of taste. Pitty.
3.1 Enormous thanks to Toto for sharing this with the rest of us! Another Pivoteka eternal shelfie due to the price. Unsure if the shelf-aging helped, however... Murky golden body, with an off whtie head. Nice! Dry yeasty, funky aroma with very, very mild apricots perhaps. Highly, aggressively sour beer, toothrot, spicy phenols and a distinct lack of apricot really. As if whatever they imparted was eaten up. Need to try it fresher at some point, this wasn't great.
3.0 This was th 2017 edition. Decent apricot and citrus flavors. Full body with a funky barnyard essence and mild oak sweetness.
3.7 Sampled at the SEC Craft Beer Fest in CoMo. Tart so as to cause face twisting. After that effect the apricot emerges nicely. Bugs and earth with soft maltiness. Nicely done..
4.2 August 10, 2018. Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear golden yellow with a finely bubbled white head. Huge apricot aroma, citrus and funk. Taste is crisp dry apricot, sour citrus, lemon rind, some woody notes and a lingering mouth puckering tartness with flavours of apricot skins and pit.

3.5 Hazy blond colour with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sharpness. Fruity. Apricot. There's a background fruit sweetness adding some balance.

3.9 2018/03/30 - 2016 Bottle from the LCBO. Pours hazy orange with an effervescent head that quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is tart lemon, orange, stonefruit and apple, white wine notes, wood, barnyard funk, yeast, pepper and vinegar. Taste is puckering lemon and stonefruit, with yeast, funk and vinous notes. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a highly tart, acidic finish. Complex, tart and delicious.
3.8 So very sour! Bottle (new release) has ton of pressure under the cork but does not foam up, it pours a hazy pinkish amber with a dissipating silky white head. Almost a real Gueuze type experience but the funk is lighter and there is some sour fruit and even a prickle of phenolic spices (pepper, bubble gum) and soft echoes of old wood and wet forest floor humus. Lemons and tart pit fruit, white wine vinegar, bare hint sulfur. I think the apricot fruit may vanish over time but the overall palate and complexity will improve. Demanding palate, good. Gastric burn at this stage, go slowly!
4.0 Pours orange with a pink hue, foamy head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is fairly complex, lots of yeasty character with some fruit. The sourness makes itself immediately apparent in the aroma as well. Taste is bracingly sour upfront, giving way to fruity sweetness and more yeast character. Very funky, some barnyard, lasting taste. Very good
4.0 Pours a clear golden colour with one finger of white head that reduces into a ring. Champagne-like effervesce visible. Aromas of "Brett" yeast and apricot with some notes of citrus. Much more sour than expected. Tons of lemon and apple notes. I guess this is what a real Sour tastes like lol
3.8 Bottle pours amber with a off white head. Aroma of apricot, oak, funky and earthy. Taste is tart fruit and funk
4.3 Smells incredible, dry and musty fruit. A huge burst of apricot flavour in the start, a lot of funk and acidity. Extremely sour, puckers the tongue, flavour drills through the top layer of tastebuds to somewhere deeper. Flavour gets stronger with each sip. Nice texture as well, great beer.
4.4 It pours golden color with small sized off-white head. Foam leaves a cover on top. Average lacing. It smells funky; apricot, lemon, barnyard and wood. Acidic and woody taste is moderately tart, fairly fruity and low-med malty. Flavors are well rounded and clear. It finishes slightly sour and strongly dry. Body is thick for a sour beer. Where is 8,5% Abv? It's perfectly hidden. Great drinkability and perfect refresher. Awesome brew.

The aroma is lightly funky, old socks, spicy with apricots and tart berries and hints of vinegar. Medium body with a heavy sourness and an average carbonation. Flavor of unripe apricots and citric acidity, citric fruits, some tart berries, vinegar, flowers, some funk. Overall really nice flavors but the sourness is a little bit over the top. The nose is vety lovely, with a nice organic funkiness while the taste is a bit too sour. The apricots aren't that prominent.

4.0 2015 Vintage @ 7.2% ABV. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Bold, crisp, tart aroma of stone fruit. Smooth with an intense tartness and fruity flavor. Good full mouth feel with a nice pucker factor. Crisp and clean finish with a nice lingering tart fruity aftertaste. Very refreshing and enjoyable. Solid choice!
3.8 At Ghent Beer Society's Beer Quiz; shared with Anke & Pieter! Clear orange with a diminishing, off-white head. Aroma of orange, lemon & apricot, barnyard, vinegar, yeast, leather, cheese & cream, 'bacteria'. It tastes only light fruity sweet but overall heavy sour, lactic, fruity and lambic-like; the finish is long, tart and drying. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Reminded me so much of a traditional Lambic; all in all, something completely different and not an obvious drink.
