Cascade Cuvée du Jongleur is a blend of select barrels of Flanders Reds, Triples, and Blond Quads that have undergone lactic fermentation and barrel aging up to 18 months. This Belgian Ale is bottle conditioned by 4 months of lactic fermentation and aging.



Store at cellar temp and serve at 45-50 degrees F.

3.9 Tap @ Cascade Barrelhouse, Portland. Pours amber, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, red berry sour. Taste veers towards a fruity Flanders red character, some grainy malty amber shades, oak, tart lactic acidity. Good stuff.
4.2 Keg at Cloudwater Taproom, Bermondsey. Amber with a thin offwhite head. Aroma of vinegar, red wine, citrus, fennel, oak and grapes. Okay flavours, with cooked fruit and tartness at the end. Wonderful. Very springy palate.
4.0 Poured ambery color with a thin white head. Red currant, woody aroma. Red wine wibes, vinegary, tart. Heavy on the vinegar but stays drinkable. Red berry flavors, wood, tartness. Mouth puckering dry. Very complex.

3.8 Bottle @ Berry Bonanza Extravaganza, Ratebeer Odense, 2019. Pours Hazy deep Golden with a creamy White head. Massive Wood, tannins , vanilla and caramel. Warming feel. Like a tart Barley Wine.
3.5 Bottle. Pours hazy copper with a white head. Aroma of dried fruits, plums, quite sugary, quite some wood. Taste is heavy tart, loads of wood, dried fruits, loads of acetic acid. Very Tart, and quite dry.

Aroma: pretty fruity nose, cherries, some red currants, bit oxidized, funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very acidic, sourish, lemon juice, some vinegar, pretty fruity. Aftertaste: sourish, some tannins, fruity, bitter notes, bit dirty, chemical, some turpentine.

3.6 Tap @MBCC2019, Red Session. Clear amber, white head. Funky fruity and woody aroma. Sweet flavour, sourish, juicy.

3.9 Sample @ MBCC 2019, red session. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are lactose acid, fruits, malt and has a nice sour finish.
3.6 Tap@mbcc 2019, Copenhagen. Pours a bronze like colour beer with a smal head. Fruity and acidic with notes of red grapes. Dry finish.
3.8 Poured from the tap. Slightly hazy brownish orange with minimal off white head. Nice blend of medium sour tartness with underlay of sweet fruit and mild wood.
4.0 Keg at the Star and Garter, Bromley. Pours a deep amber with a white head. Nose of cherry pie,sultanas, raspberry jam, redcurrants. Flavours of cranberries, red cherries, currants, sour red berries. Lots of warm,soothing alcohol on the palate. Quite dry. Excellent.

4.0 Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver Cloudy dark red-amber colour. Aroma of red wine and blueberries, light vanilla. Strong body, moderately sweet and sour, strong bourbon notes, creamy, or maybe it's buttery Chardonnay, raapberry, mild tannin. Very interesting.
