Got in a trade with Shanex. Partially leaked bottle in shipment. 330 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/9/2020. Small puff of carbonation on opening. Pours fairly crystal clear medium golden yellow color with minimal head or lacing. Aromas of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with big strength. Taste of big lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; and herbal, floral, woody, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, apricot, red apple, peppercorn, clove, light banana/bubblegum, cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, herbal, floral, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit;. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Mild carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.4%. Overall this is an excellent Biere de Garde. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, bready malts, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, refreshing, and fairly crisp to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Great balance of Belgian yeast complexity and clean bready Munich malts; with solid earthy hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example. I was really surprised, nails the style perfectly regardless of lack of carbonation.

Złociste biała piana utrzymująca się długo klarowne
Smak słodowy z trochę tostowym charakterem. Nie za słodkie później wytrawne nawet trochę.
Nagazowanie wysokie, ciało średnie, gładkie nie jest mdłe, finisz gorzki chmielowy może trochę alkoholowy
Ogólnie piwo jest do wypicia nie ma tam nic jednak ciekawego.
Pours a clear yellow to amber with thin head and a little lacing.
Aroma is hay, green apples, spice, plastic and wood. Taste is sweet with a long fizzy thin finish.
Light, refreshing, but some off flavours and was expecting more for the ABV
Bottle. Clear, golden color, fine white head. Sweet malt, cereal nose. Medium dry taste, medium bitterness. Cereal, sweet aftertaste, maybe some light floral hop notes. Low carbonation, full texture.

Robe blonde orangée, un peu cuivrée avec un col mousseux présent mais peu épais. Au nez, c’est épicé et terreux. En bouche, belle carbo, longue et forte. Légèrement amère, saveurs un peu acidulées et un peu sucrée, bien accompagné par la carbo juste. Un peu trop sucrée et une amertume un peu courte. Une bière que j’aime bien
Golden color, white head. Fruity nose with apple, esters, sulfuric notes, burnt matchstick, malty. Yeast with fruity esters, apple, sweet malty, phenolic notes with spice and solvent, dry finish. Medium body, average carbonation.

Butelka 0,33 l. Nalewa się z dość obfitą średniopęcherzykową pianą, która szybko opadając nieznacznie osiada na szkle. Piwo ma barwę ciemnozłotą, jest lekko zmętnione, z lekkim osadem drożdżowym. Aromat słodowy, ze słabo wyczuwalnymi nutami miodu, alkoholu, a także szczątkowymi nutami kwiatowo ziołowymi od chmielu. W smaku wyraźnie słodkie, słodowe, drożdżowe, trzeba dużo wyobraźni, żeby wyczuć coś więcej. Na podniebieniu wyczuwalne lekkie alkoholowe grzanie, goryczka ledwo wyczuwalna, pełnia średnia, wysycenie średnie w kierunku wysokiego. Na plus temu piwu można zaliczyć, że nie jest puste i jest w miarę pijalne jak na swój charakter, z drugiej strony szybszego bicia serca nie wywołuje. Piwo kupione na promocji, inaczej żalowałbym wydatku.
Orange color, middle foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
Had this on a business trip in northern France. One of the best beers I've ever had.

En bouche un goût de sucré malt arrive qui sera suivi d'une légère amertume de houblon pour une fin chaude en palais.
500ml can. Pours clear dark gold with a tall off-white head. Aroma is cereal, herbs, malt. Taste is medium sweet, fruity, yeast. Light bitter finish.
Aroma fresh apples hay. Tastes sweet grain some raw bread some slight floral spice and bitter. Lighter than most beers I've seen described as biere de garde and quite good.
Cerveza dorada con una pequeña cabeza blanca que se disipa en cuestión de segundos. Aroma a cereales y hierbas. En boca destaca nuevamente los cereales con un poco de fruta y miel. Final agridulce.

Malts, spices, some fruits in nose. Pours golden with white head. Taste is medium dry with cereal, spices, fruits and herbs. Low bitter finish, lively carbonation. Overall not bad, quite refreshing.
Almost transparent yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly with low lacing. Aroma of cereals with notes of citrus and herbs. Taste of white cereals, corn, sweet bread and honey with an interesting hint of yogurt. Medium-light body, sweetish with some presence of alcohol, watery texture and medium carbonation. A curious golden beer of light flavors, similar to a belgian blonde and quite inexpensive.
Robe or sombre, limpide, belle mousse mais peu durable. Nez malté. En bouche, le malt domine, avec pas mal de corps et une légère amertume. Classique, pas exubérant, mais pas trop fou.
4/9/2018. Bottle from Carrefour City nr Javel, Paris. Pours clear bright golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops, fruit, light yeast and herb. Quite heavy sweetness, light metallic bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation.

750ml bottle. Pours gold orange. Honey, herbal, apricot, bit of booze. Medium body. Fine.
Bottle, from Intermarché in Bagnac. Nice clear yellow golden colour, white foam. Fairly standard version of this style, sweetish malts, light hop, full thick malty taste at over 6%, not cloying though, slips down easily, not super complex.
Color dorado cristalino, poca espuma que deja un fino anillo. Aroma muy ligero de hierba y cereal. Gusto ligeramente maltoso y césped, gusto final agridulce. Los 6.4 grados los marca con carácter. Decente, como una Belgian Blonde más ligera. Buen formato de 25cl, por 0.59€ en Alcampo vale la pena probarla

It is a light taste beer, very easy to drink so it is perfect for the hot weather.
