4.1 This has always been one of the best tasting beers in Australia , yet you get morons giving it a score of one...And even an American bagging it ffs our bad beers p!ss over your best, because you havn't got one. Cubs from Colorado is a fuckwit....
2.1 On tap at a Hobart Hurricane match. Pours a clear yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains, cookie and a bit of a rice note underlying. Flavor is also sweet with grains, straw, cookie and a bit of a corn finish.
2.7 Best by August 20th 2019. Can. Looks gold enough to me. Pretty fluffy head of foam, lacing is good. Simple nose of corny grain, some but not enough of that Aussie malt, mild touch of hops. No surprises in the taste. Light flavours, it is 3.5%abv, of corn/grain, tiny malt sweetness, low presence of hoppy bitterness. Served cold cuz I reckoned that would put it at its optimum. Pretty decent mouthfeel considering. Nice to try, once.
0.5 Tastes like recycled urinal without the trough lollies! Dehydration is inevitable after 6. Better options like Beef Jerky in Lemonade!
4.1 Drunk from can. Nice aftertaste and aroma... full heavy on the malt and hops giving a nice zesty punch. Preferred over VB. Definitely not cat's piss.
0.8 A really lackluster beer. Faint aroma of cardboard. Flavour is just a very very mild bitterness then just watery nothing. I swear there is more water per can than beer. No body whatsoever and no malt character either. Very thin and poor mouthfeel. Overally carbonated- gives it an acidic aftertaste. Not a very nice beer at all, I'd take a glass of water over this any day of the week.
2.9 Kolor złoty, piana biała, klarowne. Słodowe w aromacie i smaku, lekkie cytrusy, trochę chmielu, dobry lager na upały i dość przeciętny.
1.7 A beer with out flavour is like a town with no pub.. A drink that tastes like water but doesn’t hydrate you is like a kebab shop in a town with no pub.. What’s the point?
3.0 To drink a lot
0.9 Terrible watery beer with nothing good going for it. I'd rather drink a schooner of water with dirt poured into it. Not worthy of poetry, not worthy of drinking.
5.0 Delishis
3.0 Minimal, metallic aroma. Golden clear appearance, light carbonation quickly disappearing. Bubbly palate. Bitter taste, standard commercial lager. Overall drinkable in large volume if you don't care too much about beer.
3.9 An amazing daily beer. A beer that doesn’t stop giving. Doesn’t matter if you have 5 or 15, always delivers a good taste and a good feeling
1.6 Can of Aussie piss delivered to US of A from Australiashire by fletch. Thanks! It took me three months to drink this after delivery, so it's safe to say it wasn't super fresh. That being said it's not a good beer. Cardboard, some slight diacetyl, light corn. Easy to chug, low boost. Not the best flavour.
2.0 Bottle in the Qantas lounge, Melbourne Airport. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is skunky dry cardboard lager malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malt, dry woody, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty awful.
4.0 Nice
5.0 Old faithful, Milton mango
2.3 330ml can. Drank from can. Little syrupy, little acidity, mostly tasted like nothing. Perfectly serviceable, especially on the boat back from a day snorkelling.
3.0 Cred: http://i.imgur.com/zM41Ouu.jpeg Another solid low boost logger from down under. Nice head, cold gold appearance. Really smooth with a touch of sweetness. Not cloying, I could put these away all day. Nice!
0.7 27.08.2017, 0,375l bottle @ home, courtesy of Cunningham: Big bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is harsh floral, weeds, old sour wash cloth, boiled vegetables, raw cabbage, minerals, paper, bark, sour grass. Taste is harsh metallic, weeds, metal tank, paper, bark, old hay, minerals, sour grass, old wash cloth. Medium bitterness, very watery and metallic mouthfeel. What a waste of resources...
2.1 Aroma 2 Appearance 3 Taste 3 Palate 2 Overall 11 Clear golden color with a white head. Decent lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. But do NOT put your nose close to the bottle when you open it. Vegetables…. Medium (-) body and an average carbonation level. Decent balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Pale malt, some vegetables and herbal hoppy flavor. Not a decent easy drinkable beer. [Bottle Torbjørn brought with him from down under. Hope he do not read this.] Brewery #1706
2.2 375ml brown bottle. Pours out clear and golden. Expected fizziness and poor head retention. Nose is sweet and malty. Taste - rather bland... some sweet malt and a little grassy bitterness. Lots of carbonation and of course, light bodied. Nothing special, horribly overpriced here.
0.7 Is this possibly the worst beer in Australia? Yep, I genuinely think it is. Not often I utter the words ’I can’t drink this’ but Bingo! Horrible excuse for beer, mass produced, utterly tasteless and headache inducing slop. Why do people persist in drinking this horse pss when there are so many other choices out there. Beats me. Avoid at all costs.
1.8 Clear, light golden colour in the glass. Nice lacing from a Spielgua pilsner glass. Almost a cheap corn flavour. Only drinkable because of the lack of aftertaste. Only worth drinking if it’s 40°C plus and it’s on ice.
2.5 330ml can at SeaWorld Resort, Surfers Paradise. Gold color with slight sudsy head. Grainy with stewed vegetables/DMS. Mild bitterness. Certainly very drinkable in the hot Queensland weather.
4.0 Goes down well on a warm afternoon. Can have 4 or 5 and still drive which is a bonus. Have had 8 to 10 cans many a time and not a hint of a hangover in the morning. Midstrength.
1.0 [backlog] 12-01-15 // can in Sydney. Macro lager. Medium sweet. Smooth. Light bitter finish.
2.4 Stats off ok while ice cold. Poured to a goldenish colour with almost no smell at all. Had a respectable frothy head and decent lacing that stuck around. Mild palate and a sweetish taste with little bitterness. Nothing great, but not terrible as an aussie mid strength.
2.9 Starts of great. Ends tolerable. Is at its best while ice cold. Mild palate feel that will hang around. Sweetish taste with very slight bitterness. Not a great beer, but bad as a mid strength either.
2.8 It is one of the most popular beer in Australia. When I went there I drank sometimes this one with the hot sun of Brisbane and region. It is a clasical lager, yellow body, average carbonation, white foam, the taste is watery, malty, few hop. A beer when you are thirsty.
